I don't know if Zach posted about this but we got a puppy. He is three months old and half Husky and half Malamute. Totally gorgeous and sweet.

I picked the worst time to get sick. :c My dad had an idea for Thanksgiving, but he doesn't want to do it now because nobody wants to get sick.
Why oh why did I have to go and drink on a night I knew my sister was still sick? My immune system probably would have been able to resist it otherwise.
I hope I'm better by tomorrow. I feel more than well enough to be doing stuff, but I really want to be able to spend time with my family without spreading this.

I am almost completely better. I can taste s**t again and my headache and sore throat are totally gone. Once the cough ******** off, I'm healthy.
My sister is still sick, going on a week and a half now, showing no signs of improvement.
Oil of oregano and oranges > cold pills and cough syrup.

I get overwhelmed whenever one of my non music classes assigns a paper. I have an exam in one class, and a paper and a solo project report due Thursday in one class. It doesn't sound like much, but between Marching Band and Band and Theory homework and practicing and lessons and trio practice and other stuff like eating and sleeping and hygiene, it all just becomes a bit much. I know it'll all be okay, but goddamn it's only October. This is like my 3rd time since school has started since I've been close from having a breakdown.

Reasons I stopped being in band after high school was over. I have enough stress to handle as it stands, and I would probably have lost my scholarships (and my mind) already if I tried to juggle marching band with my workload.

Today is a day to celebrate good health, since I am officially better.
I'm probably still infectious, though, so going up to bring my dad coffee is a no.
But taking the dog for a nice long walk? It's awwwwright.
