*after browsing through the cocktail book a while, he puts a cocktail glass into the freezer, then gets out the shaker, sweet vermouth, bitters, and a bottle of bourbon. He puts in the bourbon first, then a bit of the sweet vermouth, and little of the bitters, screws it closed and gives it a few shakes, then takes the glass out of the freezer and pours in the drink through the strainer, adding a cherry before setting it down in front of Leko*
