Eh, the only reason I'm used to it is because I thought the same way -- being shy and all. But I'm not really scared of strangers, at least not anymore. Just decided to jump and have fun and not care what anyone else thinks when I'm out and about.
And, well, people that turn out fun to hang out with gravitate towards me. Also some creepies, but that's easy to fix. Just go away.
Then again, I have the privilege of being male that makes getting away just slightly easier from the creepies.
Anyways, off to go to Karaoke~ I'll have PotW posted when I get back.

@Arc- That just reminded me lol I work at a supermarket, and I've worked in retail so I've had lots of times where I was required to talk to strangers ^^' in fact that's how I met my best friend.

Well, you see, after talking with them the first time, every time they saw me, we'd converse...actually, one of my really good customers hooked me up with his daughter...it didn't really work out that well, but we're still good friends.

Well, there was that time when I met the Emperors for the first time...I was just getting off of work, and was passing by the parking lot where we usually hang out, and I saw a bunch of cars that looked like mine.
I went to go and check it out...and well, they've become some of my best friends in the past year
