(Alright time for Kilos return!) Kiro had been spending most of time in the castle, being bored out of his mind but still trying to understand what was happening. so we're going to be fighting mutant fish...wow hope i didn't eat distant cousin or something he chuckled a little to himself remember the fish he ate a few days ago. He pulled out his knife looking at it; he had noticed that it has lost its shine. He had taken a nap shortly after, only to have it run into the next day.
He had woken up and had a quick meal. He walked into the lobby of the castle and had noticed everyone there, he was able to put two and two together, there was a meeting he took a seat in the back corner listening to what was had to be said. he felt a little strange being talked to as if he was property but it got better as being called mercenaries "so it's more like we're trainees then, sounds like we're going to have fun" he said with a bit of sarcasm.

Mercenaries? Mercenaries?! Now she knew she was not supposed to be here. She could never, ever, kill someone; she had already failed to defend herself twice, once only a few days ago and the perpetrator stood a few feet from her. How was she expected to take a life for money? Catriona closed her eyes as her head throbbed rebeliously. She shook it slowly, though not sure if it was against the incoming threat of a headache or the rediculous idea of her being a mercenary. The full weight of the idea hit her. She had seen death before; she did not like it. Feeling a chill she cradled her arms against her and studied the floor. She would not take a life willingly. She was absolutely set against it.

When Tanner heard Pix mention the Harlequins he shook his head. Frankly, with these men an women, the strength was barely militia quality. He and Lucas were the only other good fighters. After a moment, Tanner abruptly took the thoughts out of his head. Why would I ever doubt him? I'm absolutely sure he can do this, and then everyone will be able to survive. Tanner sighed and stuck his hands in his coat pockets. After all these days, the responsibility he had for these people felt so heavy. And now he wasn't sure if he had it anymore. Pix was going a little overboard, but yeah... It's his group now. Tanner was just along because he was the only one that knew where to go. Unless Pix really traveled around a lot. Tanner wasn't sure. Kai was frustrated and at the same time a little excited at the idea of becoming a great fighter. This world was tough, and if he intended to stay here he would need to be able to defend himself better. Someday, Kai aspired to defeat Pix in combat. Which he was sure was not easy to do. But then he would know for sure if he could live above ground, permanently.

There are no such things as coincidence.((Hello everyone! I'm back! Duuuuuude, it took forever to catch up. I like the turn of events though. ^_^))
Evacy flexed her fingers. She had wanted to kill Pix before. Now was no different, only that she wanted to strangle him even more. "I'm sorry, but I don't belong to anyone, and I don't appreciate being handed over to some drunk." Evacy muttered. She hadn't come up to belong to some sort of... circus. Evacy knew that her mother must be turning in her grave. She stole a glance at Catriona. She didn't look like a fighter. 'What is that sorry excuse for a man up to now?'

Andrea crossed her arms and muttered some very rude things under her breath: she was pissed, but what choice did she have? Kai was going to make then listen to Pix even if she yelled and screamed and beat him to a pulp. She was seriously thinking about pushing Pix off of the roof of the castle, but she had to restrain herself: afterall, Tanner would probably just hand them over to someone else if Pix died.
(No worries~ I have no excuse for mine being bad, it just is. x.x )

There are no such things as coincidence.((Evacy and Andrea can conspire together! ^^ Where did everyone go?))
Evacy wondered what exacty they would be doing, since she, nor anyone else, didn't have a choice. 'He'd better not give me a ridiculous getup, or...' her train of thought stopped. What would she do? She couldn't kill Pix. Not yet, at least. And obviously she couldn't 'quit' either. She bit her bottom lip until she tasted the metallic taste of blood. She looked at Kai. He didn't seem to mind as much. 'I guess becoming better skilled wouldn't be too bad.' There is only hitsuzen

"I don't give a ******** whether any of you live or die, you can be sure of that. I do care whether I live or die, and that means I have to rely on scum like you. I am going to train you to be useful to me," he continued after watching their initial reactions, "I will do what the hell I like, to who the hell I like, when and where I like, and there's nothing in the whole wide world you can do or say to stop me. And it will be the worst, the very worst, time of you life. But as the Lord General said, you are mine now and you have a mission to do, and if you want to live then you will listen to what I have to say, and do exactly what I tell you to do. If just one of you messes up, I will personally kill everyone of you." When he was done he decided on leaving them with that thought for a while. He walked himself over to the far end of the field just barely out of earshot and sat himself down.
Regardless of what he had said he still wasn't exactly sure of himself. In a moment of contemplation he began to mutter to himself, "Why was I the one who survived? What is it about me that I can pass on to these others, so that perhaps they'll live as well?.." He pondered the question and it was with a start that the answer came to him. I t was more than plain determination, more than just skill and luck. They could leave destiny hanging for all he cared, he'd been thinking about it the wrong way around, It's not why he survived, it's why the others didn't. they didn't really want to. Not as much as he did. Never once had he truly thought that he was going to die. Never believed anyone could kill him. "God helps those who help themselves..." As the saying goes. This wasn't about building a new mercenary team, training them and passing on skills. It was about giving them the same indestructible belief in themselves that he had.
And with that a plan began forming in his mind.

Gregor stared at pix watching as he spoke, he might as well have been committing suicide. He knew that Pix might end up dead before he could even train all of them properly. All it takes to kill someone is a simple knife and the patience to wait until they're asleep, then again Gregor knew from experience that mercs were light sleepers, but that didn't stop him from worrying. He decided to step up and try to do something to stop these guys from trying to kill Pix. He walked out in front of them. "Ok, now how many of you want to kill Pix over there?" He didn't even bother to wait until anyone had answered. "Ok, now how many of you think you could actually succeed?" Again he just went on without pausing. "All of you who think you can are dead wrong. I know without a second thought that I'm better than each and everyone of you." With this he drew his crossbow and shot off arrows at all of them. He made sure that the ones going for the new recruits were a few centimeters from theirs heads. The few arrows that he shot at Pix were all aiming right for his head though he knew that Pix would never let them hit.

He wasn't even fully aware of what he was doing as he moved his head to the left, holding out his hand to catch the last one, that was still coming straight at his head, tribute to the marksman's skill. The leather of his glove stopping most of it's force, didn't mean the thing didn't sting like a stone b***h.
He looked up and saw what Gregor had done, and smiled regardless of the pain. the fellow mercenary had just made Pix look like a God.

He turned back to address the group and stared at each of them individually trying to gage some of their reactions. "I doubt that any of you could have dodged any of those let alone catch them." He shook his head. "To be blunt as of now you are a group of poorly trained brats who probably think that you're immortal. Part of my job is to make you see just how wrong you are. I will train some of you as I see fit and I want you to know now that it will be hell, but by the end of it each of you might have the slightest chance of killing him." He looked at Pix and then looked back at the group. "If you tried to kill him right now you'd die before you realized what had happened." He looked over the group again trying to figure out who he would train personally. His eyes passed over the one girl who was still looking at the floor. Something still seemed different about her. That's one. He kept looking and studied the girl who had dragged the other one with her. That's two. He looked over them again and watched as another girl who seemed to be biting through her own lip. That's three. Those three seemed to be the only ones who might try to kill Pix right away and so he figured that it would be better for him to handle their training rather than putting them with Pix. He looked at the others. I'm sure he can train them without too much of a problem.

((No one has noticed me yet.))
Leon was getting angry. Though he didn’t want to be part of the group at least someone should have noticed him. Even the bowman hadn’t shot an arrow at him. Leon could have easily dodged it, but he wasn’t to sure on catching. He would rather due without an arrow threw his hand.

There are no such things as coincidence.Evacy's first reaction was to block, but she realized that she didn't have her mother's gauntlets on her, so she sat still instead. Flexing her fingers, she inhaled and exhaled slowly, cooling her head. She'd have other chances. Besides, she had admitted in Yent that Pix was superior in skill. Evacy already knew that she couldn't hold a candle compared to him. But it didn't mean she liked being reminded. "I'd like to remind whoever's in charge that I didn't come above to be a merc, thank you very much." she hissed through clenched teeth. There is only hitsuzen

"Yeah, well I never planned on being a mercenary either." He said watching her. He watched her trying to see what type of reaction she had to this. "Sometimes things happen to cause people to have to do such things." He sighed worrying that he might have a hard time training her if she stuck with her current attitude. It seemed like she had already given up on the idea of going against Pix, but he wasn't sure. Anyways after her training is done she might want to take a shot at it.

There are no such things as coincidence. She clenched her hands and suppressed rolling her eyes. Evacy thought about making her training a living hell for the two. She had a strong will and determination. But then again, maybe she'd learn something? Mentally rolling her eyes, she wondered when they would try to break her spirit, if ever. There is only hitsuzen
