He sighed softly.
"I know not what to tell you, love." He replied, his voice was distant.

Time stood still, for one brief moment, and in that moment, he came to her, Erica Morrow. He came as a force, shrouded, dark, and mysterious. He spoke to her quietly, his voice a razor-blade that just by hearing it, you knew this force could kill you with a word.

"Erica Morrow." He said into her mind, the rest of the world frozen as she was trapped within an instant.
" Erica Morrow, I have come to you to tell you a story. This story has two endings, and you shall choose the endings." The world arround Erica flared a brilliant blue, encompasing everything around her, then it cleared, showing her Hero's Haven...though not as it was.
The Haven was destroyed. There were signs of large battles through out the city, buildings had crumbled into rubble, the very streets themselves were torn asunder by some unforseen hand of god. The air itself stank with the energy used to anihalate this once-safe Haven for those who were different.
"This is the future, Erica Morrow, it you let it."
She then realised that she was floating, that the Mansion in which she was just standing upon was destroyed, a pile of rubble, having long since fallen into the ocean.

"The millitary came at last, this time in force. They waged war upon your fair city." As the voice told this story, Erica found herself moving, floating over the city. All across it were dead bodies, super and normal alike. Clogging up a street was a large crow, long since dead. It's head was gone, ripped assunder by unknown forces. In the distance could be seen a gigantic, metal snake, rearing out of the earth, posed in it's last death-cry as it reached up to the heavens.
Finnaly, she came to a stop. She was floating over the fallen body of a woman. The woman was with child, obvious, her stomach allready inflated with said child.
The woman was dead. The woman was Erica.
When Erica tried to turn her head, she found she could not, she couldn't even mover her eyes.

"You and your child are dead, Erica Morrow. Killed in 5 months time by the millitary. I can save you from this time-line. I can save your child.

"I will speed up the rate in which your child will grow. Your child will be born in 3 months time, under one condition: When the time comes, and I call upon you, you will come to me, and aid me in whatever I ask of you."
Erica now saw a face in front of her. The face was deeply shrouded, and all she could make out were two burning green eyes.
"Do you accept my terms?"

He smiled.
"Then the deal is struck. You are to tell noone, or it shall be void." With that, the world around her dissapeared, and she was once again on the balcony, standing with Xeen once again, time resumed. She felt a sudden spike of agony in her abdomen, though it quickly subsided into nothing.

Xeen saw her buckle, and fall, catching her quickly as she fell.

"She passed out!" He said, hauling her to her room.

"Then if you believe it to be outside manipulation, you should be checking her for any phsyce bombs. Erica is the only reason this motley bunch of villains stays together, loosing her would be a serious loss." Baranar turns to walk away. "I have work to do, tell me if she does have a bomb, and I will aid you in removing it."

As Xeen began to penetrate the barest outset of her mind, he felt a sudden wave of cold was over his mind as it was forced back from Erica's.

"You need not waste your will-power on her, Xeen Soltari. You will need all of it you can get." A dark, sinister voice called out to him. Time stopped for Xeen Soltari, his eyes unable to move as they stared into Erica's unconcious face.

"Xeen Soltari....U'Daria is not gone....it is returning for you, it's most prized possesion." The voice purred, full of malice. Xeen's world was swept away as he saw back to when he was ruled by Xeen, the stone of U'Daria around his neck.

"Promise your legience to me when the time comes, Xeen Soltari, and I will grant you immunity from U'Daria's thrall. I will give you the power to prevent him from reclaiming you.

"Do you agree to my terms?"
