((Sorry for the long post-It's 3:30 am, and I'm tired-Haven't slept for 36 hours...sooo yeah...I just figured I'd make this post, because I know there's someone out there who would enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed taking a break from the usual to write it. ^_^ Enjoy!))
Vincent sighed-sitting ontop of his home...looking up at the stars. He was listening to music playing lightly from a Data Cube set next to him, as he looked up at the sky, reaching his hand up into the air-all his fingers outstretched. "Space," He said quietly, as a shooting star passed through the night sky. He remembered the first time he ever saw a shooting star pass through the night sky...all those years ago...
~*~*~
Vincent was staring up at the sky, laying on his back. He was worn out, his eye's fluttering open, and shut-The day's training had worn him out. The sun that had illuminated the mysteries of the day's training had finally set, and Vincent found his thoughts wandering from the lesson to other things-What it would be like to travel through space on his own...to find something out there that he could discover with his own hands-And then, he saw it-It flashed before his eye's briefly, and then was gone-And Vincent sat up, looking up at the sky-trying to find it again. And when he couldn't-He found himself searching for the one man who possibly could-
"Master Dai-Sho," He called out, running through the wilderness of Naboo-And, of course, his master was sitting next to a fire, meditating calmly-As Vincent approached him, he called out his name again, "Master Dai-Sho-!"
"Hmm?" The Jedi Master looked up from his meditation to find his student standing before him, "Yes-What is it, Vincent?"
"Master Dai-Sho, I saw something AMAZING-Up there in the sky-It was like a starship streaking through orbit-But a THOUSAND times more beautiful!" Vincent was truly excited-To think that he'd discovered something so wonderful on his own-He had to tell his master.
"Ohh? And, by chance, do you know what that was, my young apprentice?" Dai-Sho's face looked calm and placent-but yet, on the inside, he was trying to hide the smile that was wanting to appear upon his face, as his student looked at him with wonder.
"I dunno, Master-" Vincent looked up at the sky, "It was there for a moment-And then it was gone!"
Now, Dai-Sho couldn't help but smile gently, "What you saw, My young Padawan, was a Shooting Star-One of the many wonders of the Galaxy."
Vincent's eye's lit up-At first dis-appointed that the discovery had already been claimed-But then, he couldn't help but wonder what this phenomenon was. "What IS a shooting star, master?" Vincent was DESPERATE to know. The boy was like a sponge-soaking up all the knowledge he could-whether it be from lessons, or from natural wonders and observations.
Dai-Sho smiled at him calmly, "A Shooting Star is, infact, otherwise known by another name-Do you know what that name is, my apprentice?" Vincent shook his head, causing Dai-Sho's smile to grow. "It is otherwise known as a 'Wishing Star'. They are very rare-hardly seen, even in the clear, starry night skies of Tatooine. And do you know what it is people do when they see a Shooting Star?" Again, Vincent shook his head no, and his master closed his eye's, smiling, motioning for him to sit. "Whenever other's see a Shooting Star, streaking across the night sky for but a brief instant, they close their eye's, and make a wish-For wishing on a Shooting Star is considered good luck. And, my boy-It is also said, that those who wish upon the star immediatly after seeing it...have their wishes granted. But-You mustn't tell anyone else of the wish you made upon the star-other wise, it may not come true."
Vincent's eye's were wide with intent, already taking in all of the knowledge his Master given him. Though the fact that if he spoke of the wish was a touch discouraging, Vincent tried not to let it get to him as he asked his master, "Can I still make a wish upon the star?"
"Yes," Dai-Sho said calmly, his smile widening a little as he looked to his student, "Yes you can-All you need do is but close your eye's, and make your wish."
Vincent smiled broadly, and began closing his eye's-the thought of the star coming to mind. At first, he didn't know what to wish for-To become greater than his master-To become a powerful Jedi Knight, who could rival near any foe-But then, just as he was beginning to wander what he truly wanted-The star streaked through his mind-and immediatly, he knew what he wanted...
His master smiled at him as he opened his eye's-Asking calmly, "What did you wish for, my young apprentice?"
"Can't tell-It's a secret," Vincent chirped with a broad smile, causing his master to laugh.
"Alright-Well then, let us be off to bed. Our training begins early tomorrow."
~*~*~
Vincent sighed, opening his eye's-the memory beginning to fade from his vision, but not from his mind. He still remembered to this day what he would wish for, as he looked up at the starry night sky, smiling gently as he continued to watch the stars...
'I wish that one day, I'll be able to catch a shooting star, and keep it-So that everyone who saw it, would know it was mine-And everyone would be so envious of how I'd found something so beautiful to call my own...'

Angel was in her cabin, doing some aerobic meditation, stretching and doing very light dance-like moves while clearing her mind. She had been at it for a while. Soon, the door sounded. Coming out of her meditative state, she went to see who it was. R1 extended his arm, a datacube in its clutches. < More information was discovered and I have updated the status of the targets. Some have been elminated by others over the years, mostly authorities for resisting with lethal force or some crime lord's lackey for a double-cross, that sort of thing. > Looking down the list, Angel saw several extra names, some of which were crossed out. < The ones you have eliminated so far are the ones codenamed Mr. Blue, Mr. Blond, Mr. Pink, and Mr. White. The others ended up dead by other means. > Angel looked at the information, noticing some of them owned sips, some a business, and some almost nothing. " I can assume their standing in the order based on what all they have according to this, but I can't tell who would be the leader. " < That would be Mr. Brownstone. He owns the cruiser, Rocket Queen, but we have no idea at this time as to where to find either him or his vessel. > " Hmm. Alright. Well, keep up the good work. Hopefully something will turn up and we can find the rest of these bastards. "

Fina woke the next day. She slept as she normally had... Dreaming of memories. Some memories here and there seemed a bit different, she guessed it was from the way things could have gone had she taken different actions. It didn't matter though... She had no reason to dwell on the past.
Walking to the door of her room, she moved over to the one she knew to be Tantis' and knocked on the door/pressed the doorbell/whatever people usually do to get attention(I doubt knocking on a huge, thick automated door would do much good... so i'd assume they'd have some kinda device to get someone's attention inside.). If there was some sort of intercom she'd speak into it. "Tantis, feel like a spar or two?"

The Sith Knight kept on jumping tree from tree drawing closer and closer to the area until finally he landed on the ground by the feet of the cave, where he could feel the presance of the women and another person. He called into the cave, "Is anyone in here!?," he yelled in more of a command then a question.

As Dri'sah entered the Sabre's helm, he noticed the small beeping light on the transmission system. Activating he listened to the message, he had received a response from Darth Fernos personal driod assistant. Dathomir, but only for three dayus would the invitation be open. Thinking for a moment about his plans on Bothawui. He would finish up his plans here quickly and be to Dathomir in less than a days hyperspace travel, he could take one of the smugglers lanes to get there he had discovered from one of the bothans personal datapads. He linked the pad to his nav. computer and downloaded a few new hyperspace lanes.
He left into a private chamber and sat on its bare floor, closing his eyes and meditated. He would have much to get done in the next few days.

She could feel it. Opening her eyes, sitting up in the darkness, she peered, and saw a silhouette in the cave. More, she could feel the Force. She knew instantly what she saw. A Sith. "Who dares disturb my sleep?" She called from the dark reaches of the cave, laden with the Dark Side, fed by her anger, rage, malice, and power.

He smiled, "The force women, the force has called me here, and it says that you are the reason. Now come out of the cave witch, you are now property of the Sith," he said, ready to draw his lightsaber if she dare challenged him, and he would strike her down.

The Twilight Ranger hurtled through the void, the Gladius close behind it. Archaras' modified freighter looked every bit like a panicked smuggler attempting to flee an Imperial checkpoint. Her turrets swiveled around to plink impotently at the approaching cap ships shields. The Corellian vessel rolled out of the way of a half dozen turbolaser blasts, however a trio slammed into the rear of the vessel.
A tremor ran through the ship and Archaras gritted his teeth. He continued maneuvering. Despite his recent training, he still was not a spectacular pilot. He did, however, put on a good show.
"Where are we?" He asked, glancing at his sensors.
"We're 36 seconds from the nav point," Replied his sibilant AI.
The Echani nodded as jinked another Turbo battery opened up. These too hammered home, and his shield alarm began to blare. Cursing silently in Echani, he boosted power to the engines. "
"We're through! Enemy will cross the threshold in 7 seconds!" ICIS shouted. Archaras grinned, and kept running.
In another seven seconds, the Gladius was too around the threshold of the world it had been stationed at, a large Gas Giant, looking nothing more like a hungry predator, ready to devour its prey.
"Fire," The order came from Captain Isen over the com. Suddenly the Gladius convulsed as 20 turbolasers slammed into her starboard shields, followed up quickly by a quartet of capital grade warheads.
"Vagabond! Now!" Archaras shouted into the com. Suddenly four T-wings rose from the atmosphere of the planet, and brought their Barium Rockets to bear. The shields on the Gladius were a thing of the past, and suddenly the crimson lances of light from the Victory became azure ones, and suddenly a pair of corvettes too, added their thoughts on the Imperial Frigate's systems. The Frigate attempted to fire a couple of times before she was rendered useless.
Archaras smiled as he turned the Ranger about, and made for one of the docking coils, while another pair of personnel transports did the same. And he thought back to his arrival onboard the Frigate.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ((Note: Shinn I can edit this if you want, for obvious reasons))
The Twilight Ranger settled into the hangar bay. Suddenly there was a hiss and the gangway dropped from the neck of the vessel, while Archaras strode from it.
Before him was a dark-skinned man in an Alliance fleet uniform. Archaras looked at him, and they exchanged salutes.
"Colonel Seraphim, Welcome to the Victory," The man said, "I am Captain Isen."
Archaras smiled at him and said "Thanks for the rescue Captain." He looked at the officers standing at attention next to the Captain. "These are my Senior Officers, Major Mar 'Maniac' Shall, Commander 'Vagabond' Ch'ang, and Ralgha 'Hobbes' Nar'hallas, squadron commanders, Ral'lins, my Communications officer, and 'Pliers' Sikes, my chief engineer." The Captain indicated two humans, a Cathar, and another pair of humans. They saluted the Colonel, and he returned it.
"This, however high ranked you are Colonel, is my ship, and I expect you to wipe your feet when you come on board," Isen added as extended his hand. "Of course Captain. I look forward to working with you!" The Echani responed, when suddenly he heard a bang from the direction of his ship. He turned, and saw a Twi-lek girl yanking at the side of his ship. Suddenly she flew off with a curse. She straightened herself and turned, saying "Well you didn't do a very good job," and tossing him something. He caught it, and inspected a small disk-like object. He ventured a guess that it was a tracker of some sort, and he crushed it under his boot. He looked at them and shrugged. "That's Ari Komad, our Secondary engineer," Isen added. Archaras turned to all of them and said "Well gentlebeings let's get to work!" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Imperial Captain was on his knees, a Transcendent Reaper pressed firmly in the center of his head. The Captain looked up at him, fear painting his face, as the rest of the Special Ops force he had with him went abotu securing the bridge.
"Your access codes, Captain," The Echani said, pressing the barrel a little more firmly into the skin. The Captain babbled something, and then a string of numbers. One of the commandos entered the code, and the ship began to respond to their orders.
"Thank you," The Knight said, and then ordered "Take him to the brig."
The newest ship in the Victory Battle Group turned, joined its compatriots and entered hyperspace, a small smile painting the Echani on its bridge's face...

She glared, drawing her own lightsaber, and igniting it, it's sunshine blade coming to life like a newborn star. "You can try, youngling. I can sense you clearly from here..." She stopped to muse, taking a few silent steps closer. She could sense her rancors, nearing range, a few miles away. "And I'm not impressed. I struck down much more challenging specimens than you. You're a fly; annoying." Her body came into focus, followed by the rest of her. She was his height, slim, but muscly, and clad in black robes and tunic, and underneath, a purple jumpsuit. Her crimsom hair was held back by a hairband. Most of all, was how her face looked. Not anger, or rage, or even malice. Just sadness; a deep, echoing sadness, felt across the planet, radiating out from her. "And if need be, I will take the flyswatter to the fly."

"In two weeks time the prelims will start." Nek continued. "They'll grind down the competetors to a handful of finalists who will compete for the final prize. The bouts will be one on one. No guns or energy weapons permited, so you will be competing against the best Hand to hand and Melee specialists huttspace has to offer. Given your preference of weapons, I doubt you'll have trouble passing the no Energy weapons rule. If I were you, I'd also wear a disguise. The Sith and the Empire might be watching and you wouldnt want to give away your Jedi nature on a planet full of bounty hunters."
Nek exhailed a cloud of smoke and nodded to Link. "See you in two weeks." With that, the Twi'lek walked out the door, leaving Link to deal with his fallen enemy and the mess in the shop.
-----------------------------------------
Hanso Bodle returned after his errand to find a familiar face awaiting him: that of the Jedi who had ordered a sword. "Ah, my young friend. Suprised to see ye back so soon."
The Jedi nodded to him with a smile. "This one happen to be in town. He wished to know the progress of the commissioned work."
The Baragwin chuckled and shuffled into his workshop. "Well, I worked nonstop upon it and wore myself out to complete it. Fortunately for ye, I managed to finish it just the other day. One of my finer works to be sure." After a few moments, he returned with the sword.
It was a plain looking weapon, clad in a dull black, metal sheath. The handle was black rubber with a metal shod pommel. Link took the weapon, pleased by it's solid weight. He gripped the handle and drew the weapon, exposing the blade to light. The edge was finely honed, and the way it fit in Link's hand was exquisite.
"Fine balance... excellent fit...and the edge is sharp to a frightening degree..."
The baragwin chuckled, pleased by his customer's satisfaction. "I Compressed the material quite a few times and honed the edge with a molecular laser. The fine thing about Mandalorian Iron is that it keeps an edge when most other materials will shatter." The Baragquin tapped the flat of the sword. "It might be hubric of me to say so, but if ye should meet Bogun in all his horrid glory, with this blade you will cut him." The Baragwin tapped the sheath, drawing Link's attention to it. "I can tell by your bokken that ye favor a two blade aproach. Lacking the spare iron to forge a complete blade, however, I chose instead to incorporate it into this sheath's construction. It wont cut, but it has the durability of the blade itself."
Link sheathed the blade in a swift, fluid motion. "This one thanks you wholeheartedly for your efforts. They will not be squandered." "I trust they won't. Tamonten wouldnt stand for it."
Link hefted the sheathed sword. "It's name is Tamonten?"
"A fine blade should have a name. The better for it to leave it's deeds to history. If you should find some more Mandalorian iron, make sure to see me again. Then I will forge a companion blade."
Link slid the sheathed swort into his belt reverantly and then bowed to the Baragwin, a gesture of respect. Hanso Bodle nodded. "May the Force be with you, young fellow. Those of your kind are all too rare in this galaxy. And with every passing day the need for them grows."

By the way, it's been a few days since I killed Sin. Thanks to the Battle of Abregado Rae, Kathleen's at full power. Sucks for you.) She snarled, and raised her hand before he could move. "Lightening!" A powerful burst of bluish green electricity shot out to him as she closed the gap between them.
