Kei blushed slightly at the contact. "No, I found it where you had been fighting. It was on the ground next to one of the bodies." he slowly reached a hand up and wiped the tears off her face. "Are you okay? You weren't hurt or anything?"

Mai-lin shook her head. "Not really. Just a few scratchs, Himi is worse off then I am. So is Ran. She's our other teammate...and my roommate. Mai-lin still clutched the picture of her brother. "I can't believe you found it. Thank you so much." She traced the small, barely noticable intials on the back and smiled again. "Maybe the person who killed Li-wu is dead now. Ran killed almost all of the people we were fighting..."

"Maybe, though you can't be sure of who actually had it or how long it could have been there." Kei found himself blushing a bit more as she was still close. "If you want I can ask around and see if I can find out who it belonged to. My father is with some ANBU right now going over everything."

Mai-lin let go of Kei and nodded. She wipped her eyes and smiled. "That would be great. Thanks Pei-kun." She turned away and looked abck real quick. "I have to go home to pick up somethings for Ran and himi. I'll see you later." With that she dashed off. A few minutes later she unlocked the door to her appartment and sighed. "Ran really wanted that box so I'll take that to her and I'll bring Himi and bone. And a book for me...What book." Mai-lin grabbed a book and the box, blancing a bone ontop of it she headed out and closed the door. She locked the door and placed the two pictures so the bone was holding them in place but she could still look at them. She smiled as she walked out of the building and back towards the hosptail.

"Hey look, there's Orion." Li said as he lay on his back in the grass, tracing the lines to connect the stars. A girl lay opposite of him so their heads were next to each other.
"He's shooting Taurus." the girl said and giggled.
"Leave it to you to turn everything violent, Koneko."
"I'm not the one who arranged the stars." She said and moved a hand up to entwine her fingers in his. "It looks like the big dog is going over to bite his a*s."
"You're really strange, you know that?" He rolled over onto his stomach and moved onto his arms. "Oh yeah, I have something for you."
"Ooh, a present?" Koneko sat up and smiled. "What's the occasion?"
"There is none." Li said and pulled a picture from his pocket and handed it to her. "I want you to have it. I won't be here in Wave forever and I'll get to see my sister when I get back."
Koneko took the picture and looked at it, still smiling. "I'll keep it with me always then." She looked at the picture a moment longer before putting it safely in her pouch.

"Kuragari Tori!" The Hokage yelled causing her to jump.
"Yes, Hokage-sama?" Tori blinked a few times as her mind came back to her and she remembered where she was. "Oh, I'm sorry!" She gave a bow of her head.
The Hokage sighed and rubbed her temples. "I think you need to go get some rest. You're mind seems to be wandering a lot lately and if you're going to be going after the leader of the group from earlier, you don't want that happening. Now go home and sleep. I'll send for you when we have more information about these men."
Tori nodded and left. I won't be able to focus until I find that picture.

A ten year old giggled and ran over to the 16 year-old that was waiting for her. The teen grabbed her and swung her round, making the little girl laugh even more. The teen placed her down and the ground and kneeled in front of her. "Hey, Mai-chan. I was just given a mission. But this mission is going to keep me away for a couple of months."At this point Mai-lin's face fell into a pout. "I'll be back for your birthday, though, okay?" She nodded and clung to her brother.
"Li? If you're gonna be gone for so long then who will help me train? And what if I forget who you are. When you come back, how will if I know it's you?" Mai-lin's pout seem to grown a little deeper. "What if I go tell the Hokage that don't want you to go. Then Hokage will have to let you stay."
Li-wu sighed. He had been looking forward to this mission since he found out about it. He wanted to go see Koneko. He looked over at the head of the Inuzuka clan who just shurged and finished the rest of his juice. He looked to the little camara sitting next to his dad and grinned. "How about we let Otuu-san take our picture and we can each keep a copy. Then you can lok at it until I come back so you'll remember me and I can look at mine so I won't forget you."
Mai-lin nodded quickly and smiled. She wraped her arms around Li-wu's waist and smiled as Li-wu placed a hand on her head. Their father stood up and grabbed the camara. When he had the camra angled right he snapped the picture. Li-wu nodded at his dad in thanks. He was the only other person, besides the Hokage who knew that Li-wu was the one to sugest going to the Wave country to keep the peace. That was after the nins from the Mist had gone back home.

Mai-lin stumbled and caught herself but not before the breeze had picked up her two pictures and started to take them away. Mai-lin put down the other things she was carrying and ran to catch them. SHe was able to catch her's almost right away but Li's kept going. The breeze stopped and the picture floated down, landing right in front of Tori.

Tori stared at the object on the ground before picking it up. This...isn't going to be good. She stood there for a moment before taking a deep breath, "Mai-lin, thank you for finding this, it's really important to me." She looked at the picture for a moment before sliding it into it's place in her glove.

Mai-lin blinked and stared at Tori. Her golden eyes gre wide as she looked from the picture in her hand to the place where Li-wu's picture was. "Y-you're the one that had Li-wu's picture?!" She shook her head. "You can't have it! The person who killed him took it! And you're a Konoha nin! A mist nin killed him!" She clutched her picture close and looked away for a second. "How can you have it?!" She yelled, getting a few villagers to stop and look at the two females.

"Because Li gave it to me. As for the rest, I don't know but if you want to talk we can." Tori found herself unable to meet Mai-lins angry gaze. "If you want to talk, you need to stop screaming and we'll go somewhere private. This is a matter that doesn't concern anyone else."

Mai-lin just nodded. SHe picked up her things and looked over at Tori. Li-wu wouldn't have given that to anyone! He promised me that he would keep it with him. Where did she get it...Li wouldn't have lied. He never lied to me before. "Fine, let's just go." She muttered, staring down at the things she was holding.

Tori led the way to a small park and sat down on a swing. "Four years ago I was adopted into the Kuragari family. My father Taki found me in a village that had been attacked. I apparently was the only survivor." She looked over at Mai-lin with sad eyes. "I can't really remember what happened before that day, but I get flashes sometimes...and nightmares.
"Li gave me this picture of him one night because he said that he didn't want me to forget him. He wouldn't be in the Wave country forever and the two of us had become...close. It's funny how we ended up that way. I hated him when he first came to Wave, I thought he was just Konoha trash and I wanted him gone. By the end of the second week, we were friends."

Mai-lin smiled slightly and nodded. "Li could get anyone to like him." SHe mused. SHe loked over to Tori, her eyes flashing dangerusly. "So you did know my brother more then you let on. You had to have been there when he was killed. What happened? Who killed him? Why did they kill him?" She then looked down at the sand and sighed. "Sorry...I shouldn't be asking you these things. Hokage-sama told everyone that if they knew anything about how Li died they couldn't tell me. I'm sorry..." She sniffed and wiped her eyes. "When Kei gave me that picture I was so happy cause I thought it was one of those men Ran killed but I guess not...It was your picture."

"If I remember anything else, I'll let you know. Right now there's too many pieces of my memory missing for anything to be right. I do know I was there while he was killed...I just don't know by who or why." Tori looked up at the sky as her nightmare replayed in her mind. I might have been the one who killed him, but maybe not. I wonder if father knows more about this than he's told me? "I'm going to go home and get some sleep, then have a talk with my father." She got up from the swing and looked at Mai-lin. "I'll see you around and...I'm sorry." She then quickly left the park and went home.

Mai-lin just nodded and watched the other female walk away. She picked up her things again and made her way to the hosptail. WHen she got there she slowly made her way to Ran's room. She lightly kicked open the door and ignored Ninchein as she moved to once again take her seat. She placed the box on the nightstand next to Ran's bed, along with the bone. She put the book on her knees and took out her picture, placing it flat on the cover. She started to cry and hoped that Ran wouldn't wake up soon.
((Of course it's not up to me if she oes or not.))

Ninchein looked surprised "hey theres a secret compartment thingy in this file" he said, he took a couple pictures out of the secret compartment and looked at them he then blushed madly and quickly put them back, he put the folder under his pillow and thought about those two pictures, he looked downward towards his legs and quickly put a pillow over his crotch, blushing madly "why would someone have pictures like that in a file, though Ran did look pretty........uh..........how do I say it.......sexy in those pictures" he said as he hit himself on the head over and over again, but continued to keep the pillow over his crotch
