When she asked about his eye he nodded. It was injured again, his mind forgot that she was there once for the pain he had to suffer. But after what he tried to do I guess he deserved it. He then slowly moved from the bed and his hands placed themselves on her shoulders. THis was after she was concerned she would be a hindrance. He made her look at him. "Yokou, don't ever say that again, ever." He flopped down in the bed his body in pain.
"You could never hold me back, only force me to go forward...if that makes sense." He said with a cheerful chuckle. He heard her talk of how she needed him around and his heart skipped a beat. Two people with eyes that see so much but yet so little. "Yokou, don't you think I feel the same? But in the end I know when you get there everything will be ok. Yokou, I need you each time you give me a reason to fight..." Sure the other shinobi gave him a reason to fight but Yokou seemed to be his deepest mission.
He shook his head fast though. "If those feelings are so wrong, then I would sooner give up being a kage then you." He nodded and sighed. "But then again, I am not in a possision as demanding as head Hyuuga. So many rules that you grow up with. Me everything is new to me. And my clans rules are my rules..." He nods and looks at herr. "What ever you deside is best I am sure it will be best." He always talked like this. So trusting of her and what she had to say.
Then the music. "Ryoko." He said under his breath with a sigh and fell back with a small chuckle. "Its different for us having friends like her eye? So focused on us doing one thing when we haven't even said I love you to eachother yet."

Tetta was suprised at the boys attack. It was kinda lame, but it was different to be sure. He blocked the attacks with his arm and knee, but if they had been done by someone of a higher level, they might have done some real damage. Tetta fliped the boy over backward so that he would be able to land on his feet.
" Your judgement may need some work, among other things. But over all, you weren't half bad. You've done quite a bit of work for your first day of training. How do you feel? "

Kai wasn't too tired, but he was sure to be exhausted by the training. "I thank you for the training. I will come to you when I am better at Taijutsu and when you are able to hit me and, not kill me." He said and then bowed to Tetta. He was happy that he was training.

Tetta was a bit confused by what he said. " Kai, I'll be teaching you everything I know about Tiajutsu, among other things. It isn't like this is a one time deal. I'll be teaching you day in and day out for quite a while. And when I can't teach you, We will more than likely be taught together. " he said and turned around to face the hospital. " Don't bow just yet. Your training isn't over yet. What you could call the hard part is yet to come. "
He said this, then ran at the wall and jumped on to it, stand sideways on it. " You still have a little more to do. First, your gonna learn to walk on walls by consentrating your chakra. If you can make it to the top of the hospital, then I'll teach you anouther jutsu. " He said then jumped down to look at the boy. " Are you up to it? " he asked with his arms crossed.

Yokou’s pale eyes widened as Akane momentarily held her hands - he didn’t think she was a hindrance? “G-gomen...I won’t say that again... But...but...now I have reason to keep on fighting... Not just for some ancient contract...” And then a small, brilliant smile at Akane...so different from the tiny smiles she expressed to her comrades before. “I-I...don’t mind... This...leading the clan...was only something I was born into. It’s hypocritical...as head I should be caring for the Hyuugas over the village...but...yet...I don’t mind...I don’t mind giving up the clan...for you...”
Yokou hung her head again, wondering if perhaps even unconscious, Akane had somehow heard her vow before - that if he should leave, she would follow him to the ends of the earth. An unseen smile crept across her face as Yokou listened to Akane’s thoughts on Ryoko. “But...aren’t we lucky to have such good comrades...no, such dear friends?” Shikamori. Ryoko. Zephyr. Tetta, Ari and the others. Perhaps even Roy. And no matter what, some small blessing always remains...as long as one stays alive.
She looked up, opened her mouth to say something, but closed it again, not quite able to say those three words. And Yokou tried again. “I-...” Well, one word down...two more to go. Yokou opened her mouth again, but nothing came out. Time ticked by and her pale complexion flushed darker by the passing seconds. It was so hard! “Ah...um...” Slight twiddle of thumbs. “I...um.......................I...love you...” Her voice trailed off quietly, the last three words tiny, but by now she was really breaking down, so timid (Hinata poking fingers mode) in demeanor that it was quite hard to believe this woman fought like a monster only moments before.
“Oi, Hokage-sama. Village leader or not, you better take care of her, or I’ll walk you off a cliff during night.” A dull, flat, bored voice turned Yokou's attention to Shikamori Nara, whom had finally awakened from his brief coma. “Shika-han...you’re awake...” Yokou murmured innocently, blinking once before her complexion darkened. How much had he heard? “Um...how long have you been here...?” She was really referring to how long he was awake. “Yeah, evil woman, just noticed me now, huh? I’ve been here for most of the afternoon thanks to that b*****d and his wooden fist. But if you were referring to how long I was awake, I heard (and saw) everything. Geez...how hard is it to say three words? See, ‘I love you’.” The Nara held up a cloth napkin which he had folded into a rag doll (the ones that you can move the mouth to say things xDD) while he was watching the two.
Shikamori blinked upon noticing Yokou's tomato red complexion. “Uh...Yokou-han...? Do you have a fever or something?” To which the Hyuuga head did not answer. The Nara merely grunted before climbing out of bed. “Thank the gods for the medic-nins in this hospital. I’m going to FREAKING KILL ZEPHYR-SENSEI! Ouch...” Shikamori winced as he took a wrong pose. He grabbed his cane, and still in his hospital outfit, proceeded to tap his way out to the door. Outside, a certain Sannin gulped, before making a hasty escape to the roof.

Kai frowned a bit as he looked up at the top of the building, he looked back down at Tetta and smiled. "You bet I am up for the task, I love a challenge." He said and then he clinched his fist, "Hey man a comrade like you I wouldn't give up. I would gladly be trained by, train you, or even train with you any day." He said and the nodded to say that he was ready for the next lesson.

Akane heard it. 'I love you' were her words, his body just moved up sitting now. "I love you too, Yokou." He said looking deeply into her eyes. THen his focus was broken when Shikamori piped up. He chuckled laying back. "Shiki, we both know thats an empty threat since for all you know you doing that to me could just be an illusion." Shikamori would know its true and Akane was proud about his abilities. "But I understand what your saying." He said with a chuckle. "And I would sooner kill myself then hurt her."

Yokou laughed aloud, watching her Nara friend angrily tap his way out of the room. "Back when we were Genins, Shikamori did use Kagemane on sensei and tried to walk him off a cliff during the night. But it didn't work so well...you see...when sensei fell off the cliff, well... Zephyr-shishou is a veteran warrior...so even subconsciously, he was...kind of expecting an attack. A tree grew out of the ground and caught him..." A furious blush once again flushed her pale complexion. "He blackmailed me into helping! But...Shikamori's shock was...highly amusing..." Actually, to be more accurate, Shikamori's shock was his jaw literally dropping to the ground when the tree sprouted out of nowhere. That was nothing compared to what followed. Zephyr awoke and destroyed the whole area chasing after his two culprit students.
Yokou and Shikamori narrowly evaded Zephyr by detouring to the Hyuuga compound. Fortunately, the two elders teaching the clan class that day owed the heiress favours, so they agreed to not tell her father and had the two temporarily hide out in the dojo's waiting room. At the front gates, the then Jounin Senju leader demanded to see the heiress and a certain Nara. Fortunately, Yokou's father didn't see the two slip into the compound so he was like 'uh-huh, riiiighhhht...they're not here so leave my house before I call the guards'.
The two supposed it was kind of...good luck...that their sensei didn't hold grudges. He didn't even recall what happened the next day... Now that the two were alone in the room, Yokou felt comfortable enough and leaned forward in her chair, resting her head gently against Akane's shoulder. She closed her eyes for a moment. Last night, she had slept very little...worrying when Akane would return. And this morning, she had awoke early for her usual morning training.

Akane slowly leg his hand touch her hair stroking it. He did this to ease her his eyes looking forward. "I will never leave so long as your here." He said this without thinking just a thought turned into words. His eyes rested on her now and his cheek touched her head as his head rested on hers. "I love you, Yokou, and from now on I promise not to leave your side." He remember what he was told about how she worried and he wouldn't let her go through that again. He would stay so long as she loved him, just so she didn't worry.

Yokou closed her eyes and smiled contentedly, voice dropped to a light, melodic whisper. "Then I am glad. Truth strength... Sensei once challenged me to find it." Talking...casually to each other...not with stiffly formal honorifics or words. Just...simply as two people...with the other in one's heart. Though her eyes were closed, Yokou's voice became sad. "I wonder...why he came back. Now of all times. He left a decade ago without a word..." A slight pause. "This time around...I still won't win... But that's fine..." Her eyes opened partway. "The distance is closing. Shishou will always have better eyes than me...but I think I can see where strength stems from...better now..."

Akane nods a bit and sighes. "Now you understand why I am so strong? I wasn't fighitng for honor or pride, wasn't for anything but the love of my people....and you." He said these last words with such meaning. 'And you' seemed to be the only two words with so much meaning behind them. He kissed her head and sighed. "Yokou, I know you will be stronger then me or Shiki or even your sensai I know it. But you have to open up, don't close away your emotions, the sixth Hokage realised this, look at him he became one of the greatest ninja to ever be known."
He nodded and cuddled her head with his own. "You have so much to do and..." He cut himself off and sighed remembering the first person he ever told this too. A tear slowly rolled down his cheek and skipped past her eye hitting the ground. "Kioko..." He said and sighed. "She was like you, always hiding how she felt. But don't make the same mistake she did, she closed herself to me and....died to illness without ever saying I love you, you be different show those around you that you love them."
