With a short hike later, Brayden spotted the city up ahead, eeveelutions leading the way as he made his way back into the city limits. Another glance to his watch still revealed that he probably had time before meeting up with the others. But he headed towards the Pokecenter. He figured he'd have a better chance with meeting up with the others, and he had spotted Chloe taking the opportunity for a quick nap before he had left the Center. With any luck, she'd still be there, along with Ricardo, Julian, and Kaya.
But, as he entered the center, he realized that the center was one prince short. Frowning slightly, but figuring that Kaya had gone to meet up with Nona and Train, Brayden took up camp in their little claimed corner, Sai and Caliga sticking by him as he took off the borrowed coat, warming up a bit by the fire.

 The boy had been too absorbed in his hunt to even notice anyone aside from the three he'd seen earlier, Let alone a small rock puffing into the snow. His ice blue hair trailed behind him as he ran towards the Pokemon Center, though he did stop after a moment the sound of frenzied footsteps catching his sensitive ears. Growing up in this snowbound hellhole, he'd always been able to pick up the sounds muffled by the snow. Stopping on a dime, he turned on his heel, appearing almost as if he were performing a graceful pirouette. "Can I help you?" he asked, his voice soft and melodious. It seemed as if he might even be attempting to seduce anyone hearing him. Thus was the song of a natural born siren. His lips moved as if they were bidden to move solely by the desire to kiss someone, every word accentuating the icy makeup that adorned them. "I'm in a bit of a hurry, so if I can help you in some way, now would be the time to ask." he pressed, unable to see why someone would be chasing him away from the docks.

"Me and a group of my friends are trying to voyage to Harmony Island, since we all have these compass-thingies, and so one of them and I have been searching the docks all day for a ferry to help us get to that destination, but the only one we could find has a drunkard for a captain, so we're hoping your ship may be one that could help us travel to there without having to deal with a drunk captain?"
Yes, she did say that in one sentence/one breath. Panting afterward, she looked up at the icy-boy. "If you're not the ferry to Harmony Island, then you can ignore me. I was just checking to make sure."

Chloe woke, hearing the doors to the Center open. After spotting a shiny Umbreon, she suspected. After seeing a strangely-marked Vaporeon, she knew. And when she spotted Brayden entering the center behind the two, she grinned.
"Hey!" she greeted, as Bray joined the rest of the group by the fire, "Any word yet?" she asked.
There was a supersonic cry from the rafters, as a stray Zubat screeched, awakened by the cold air that had snuck in when Brayden had entered. The bat dove for Chloe, who looked up in time to see the poison type.
"Geez, what a pain," Chloe frowned. Seemed she couldn't even escape from bats even when she was out of caves and tunnels.
She summoned Entreri before her, the Weavile taking up a defensive stance. However, as he spotted the Zubat, he snorted. Not even worth defending himself for.
"Come on, don't get too cocky," Chloe complained, rising from her chair to join the battle. Entreri merely rolled his eyes, taking up his stance once more, although it was more for show than anything.
The Zubat dove at the Weavile, as Chloe called out, "Ice Punch to start off, kay?" Entreri ducked under the Zubat's frenzied dive, lashing out with his claws, which glowed with a pale blue icy energy. The moment his claws touched the bat, ice erupted in a blossom, encasing the Zubat's wing in solid ice.
The bat freaked, screeching out a cry of distress, but it was too weighed down by the ice to fly away. Instead, the bat tumbled, chomping on Entreri's hand. The Weavile flinched, but grit through the slight pain.
"Alright, time to finish it off, once last Ice Punch," Chloe instructed her partner, who used the Zubat's clamp on his claws as leverage, leaping into the air, coming full circle, striking with his opposite hand, ice once more encasing the Zubat in a frigid block of ice. The Weavile simply smirked, kicking the cube out the door before turning, wiping the spit from the bat from the bite wound, before the Zubat's poison could take hold.

"Mnn, not yet," Brayden admitted, shaking his head as he settled into the chair. It was a bit stiff, but wide enough so that he could pull his legs underneath him, curled up a bit to help warm up a tad faster.
"Train and Nona decided to stay by the docks while we went back here. Hopefully they can find out something soon. I'd like to get a move on while the gettin's good, ya know?" he asked with a faint laugh.
"I went to Lake Acuity to explore a bit while I waited and while you were snoozing," he joked good-naturedly, "Its very pretty up there," he mentioned, brightening slightly. It was definitely up there on the top places he's seen so far in his travels.
He watched as Chloe took on the Zubat with Entreri, "Heh, we ran into another Zubat just on our way back here," he brought up with a faint smile, "I don't know how they can survive up here in the cold, but we're running into a bunch of flying types in this town."

"Hey, that was well-needed rest, you know!" Chloe laughed at Brayden's comment on her nap, "I hadn't really gotten a good chance to take a break since the Pokecenter in Canalave. So yeah, if there's a bit of down time, might as well rest up for the tough times?" She giggled. She knew her friend was just joking, but tossed her empty styrofoam cup at him anyway. Well, at least her lamenting about being out of tea for the moment had one use. It provided (weak) ammunition against loudmouths.
"Yeah, there certainly are a lot of Pokemon I wouldn't expect up here," Chloe nodded in agreement, "For one, the Graveler amaze me. I mean, anything that can live in an environment that its four times weak against? You know they gotta have a tough hide. As for things like the Noctowl and Zubat? I honestly have no clue. They must have no common sense, that's why," Chloe grumbled, examining the bite Entreri had gotten during the fight. It didn't look bad at all, but just to be safe, she sent the Weavile to the counter to get a quick examination. By "sent" of course, we mean she had to drag the rather stubborn ice type up there herself. There was no reason to put good medical treatment to waste while it was in the same room, right? Entreri certainly voiced his disagreement to that assumption with a yowl.
A few minutes later, with Entreri picking at a bandage laced with antiseptic with spite, Chloe returned with the Weavile, plopping back into her chair.
"See, that wasn't so hard, was it?"
Entreri merely glowered, going to sulk by the window, arms crossed.
"Pft, you'd think he'd get better after all this time," Chloe muttered. Maybe she really was doing something wrong with his training. Sure he'd come to help when needed, but Chloe was beginning to wonder if that was merely out of good mood rather than any real desire to help.
Entreri was glaring out the window. He easily spotted the man with blue hair speaking with Nona and Train, watching them carefully. He was still too ticked off at Chloe at the moment to alert her to the conversation, though. But his ears picked up on what they were saying, even through the glass. He plopped on the windowsill, yawning as he tossed the bandage off somewhere into a corner when he was sure Chloe wasn't looking. That silly girl certainly did worry too much about senseless things...

"Haha, then maybe I should have taken a nap as well," Brayden laughed. He managed to dodge the "deadly" missile from Chloe, grinning.
He couldn't help a smile, although he tried to hide it, at the interaction between Chloe and the Weavile, "You know, sometimes its just a Pokemon's personality. Training wouldn't be any fun at all if you didn't have some challenges along the way, right?" he asked.
He settled back in the chair, looking out to where Entreri was sulking. He could see a couple of figures in the snow outside, but couldn't make them out from this distance.
"I'm sure he'll come around eventually. I do see that he trusts you, otherwise he wouldn't listen to your orders in a Pokemon battle at all," Brayden smiled, offering a nod to Chloe.
"You're one of the best trainers I know. And easily one of the strongest. And these aren't just empty compliments," he laughed, "If anyone can make Entreri see that, its you."
"You hear that?" Brayden called to the Weavile, "You listen to her. Chloe knows best!"
