He let out an angry yowl-like sound, though it was very minimul due to his maw being full of some fur. He winced, eyes shutting tight. This was going to be very taxing to him. But he promised each time Denahi hurt him the cub would regret it. He didn't voice this out loud.
Asi would have to endure these pains until Denahi gave up, which may not be for a while. He couldn't tell Ari he was leaving for a bit, either. This sucked. Oh well. He began to lumber away from their current living area, paws hitting the ground in a fast pace. A hunting they would go!

Denahi stopped struggling as Asi loped off. It was pointless to waste his energy now. He'd save it, and use it for later. A glare and frown layed ever so placed on the cub's maw, hissing lightly everytime I bump would occur. No doubt once Asi put him down, he'd make a run for it. Even if it wasn't back towards home, it'd be somewhere else. Maybe to train, and comeback when he was older?

Asi let his mind wander, wondering if he was doing the right thing would be no good. His tail flicked and he was glad that Denahi gave up struggling right away. He was so confused on how to actually care for a cub. Especially the likes of Denahi. He just proved you could be evil from birth! Not that Asi really thought he was evil. He was his son, he'd never think that.
He shifted his steps, knowing exactly where they were going. This was supposed to be a family trip, the first time Denahi was supposed to see it.. but he didn't know where else to go, the jungle seemed better than anything else.

Ahah, never think he was evil? Boy would Asi's view on that change in the near future. The charcoal cub snorted. "Where are you taking me," He said it as if he were being taken prisoner. In reality, he was. Being held by his father, moving away from his old home. "And will you put me down already" He twisted again, trying to swipe his father.

Asi's brow furrowed and he hissed between his teeth. Denahi needed to shut up. He couldn't take the questions or demands much longer. He half placed half tossed Denahi to the ground. "Yew bes' know tha' i be faster than yew, so no runnin'." He sneered. See? Denahi had Asi's temper, just to a larger degree biggrin .
His tail flicked and he continued on. Should he tell Denahi where they were going? Would he know what a jungle was if Asi said jungle? Or rainforest or whatever the hell it was. He snorted. "We be takin' a trip ter a place with lutsa trees." He smirked, hoping that would just be answer enough for Denahi. Probably not.

He didn't bolt...not yet. Instead, he glanced around, looking for something, a crevice or what not, that he, but not his father, could fit in. There was none. Drats. He sighed, blue eyes landing on the ground as he walked, staying a distance from Asi.
"Goody..." He said sarcastically as Asi told they were going to a place with trees. Well, really that was a good thing. Where Denahi was born, there were lots of trees. He liked to climb them; even though, lions weren't really suppose to climb trees.

Asi sighed, it sounded that of someone on the verge of being defeated. Denahi was exuasting, even if it was just talking to him. Asi remained looking ahead, didn't bother to check if Denahi was following. He could listen as to if Denahi was following or not. After a while some more vegitation and plantation was beginning to show, a sign that they were close. His thoughts sloshed around in his skull, not making sense at all. He kind of liked it that way.

The ground was becoming cooler, as the dirt and dry grass began to get greener, more lustrious. Denahi tilted his head, looking at the greenery, consuming it eagerly in his mind. It reminded him of his real home, except more South and not treeroot dens anywhere in sight. His paced picked up slightly, moving ahead of his father, an ear flicking towards the sound of splashing water. It was quite away, but still, the sounds of a waterfall you could probably here for a mile. 'Specially with feline hearing.

Asi watched Denahi in front of him, trying to puzzle out what Made Denahi.. so.. angry. Well what always made Asi angry? He tilted his head, trying to think. He never wanted anyone to think they were better than him.. and he never wanted to end up lonely.. so he got made and tried to drive others away.
Being alone by choice was different than ending up lonely.. wasn't it? He sighed heavily, ears flicking at the forest sounds. What was he to do with his family?

What was Asi going to do with the family? Hopefully something, and something quick, if the eldest cub kept attacking the way he did. Who knew, Asi might leave one day, and return to find his family gone. Though, the charcoal male wouldn't go /that/ far now...would he? To think you actually know some, and then you haev a totally different view of them from a different perspective.
Denahi was moving quickly, almost trotting, then almost loping. The paws hit the ground less than graceful, following the breezey sounds of the waterfall. His blue eyes widened, seeing the natural wonder. Not only did the trees cover the sky, and thick brush cover the grounds, water flew down the cliff in such a manner that could make anyone speechless. It had for Ari, so it had for Denahi.
Stealing a glance towards Asi, the cub thought up a plan. Become all buddy buddy with his father. Then leave him in the dust! Though he might not be fast, he was little. Asi could never fit under the brush that led to some odd place right?

Asi wasn't paying mind to Denahi, he was too distracted. When they came in view of the waterfall he smiled fondly, watching it. His tail flicked a little. "Yew can swim, iffin' yer wan'." He finally said, heading for the water himself. He'd probably be tricked by Denahi's nice act, too. Poor Asi.

"Hmm..." He snorted, kneading the slight moist ground. As Asi made his way towards the water, Denahi took his time to move towards the forested area, back up every now and then, his blue eyes glued on the other. 'Too soon' He reminded himself, deciding to walk back towards the water.
Even though the water was cold, the cub submerged himself partly in the liquid. If you neared him, you could hear a light purr coming from the charcoal male.

Asi wondered if Denahi could even swim, he couldn't ever remember being taught himself.. but it was probably instinct. Just to be safe he glanced toward Denahi. Guess it was. He swam out toward the middle, sun shone to the water partly there.
His ear flicked a little, he wished there was something to talk about. Well.. there was one thing. "Why d'yew 'ate Tamu?" Asi said, out loud.

Denahi smirked. Aha, he had sparked Asi's curiousity eh? His blue gaze followed the swimming lion. "I don't think I am at liberty to say why." He stated simply. He layed there in silence, the only thing erupting his thoughts was the waterfall. "But," He began, "if you /must/ know." He stood, walking out of the water. "He just needs to learn where his place is, and thats below me." He nodded. It really didn't answer the other's question.

Neith-Kia Runako pranced, bounced and danced behind Binti, only pausing for important things- Such as a piece of grass that had tickled him, he had to bite it's head off. And a couple of noisy bugs that had inturrupted his prance with Binti by jumping in front of him... They were both now very colorful splatters on the savvaah grass, after Runako had jumped up and down on them several times as he told them off loudly. But he never lost sight of Binti. Nearly never. After all, Runako was a young cub, and young cubs like him needed excitement! Snarling silently, Binti whirled around, her movements smooth and swift. Swiping with one massive paw at the youngster, she shook her head. "We're HUNTING...not dancing!" she hissed. Damn, but he reminded her of Essien, back when they'd been cubs. "Now, try to keep your footfalls SILENT, and remember--no talking, alright? I think I heard something not too far up ahead..." she continued to whisper, her rounded ears pointed forward. It didn't sound like something large, but since she'd eaten recently, she was only really hunting for the cub. Waste not, want not. And besides, the likelihood of her taking down larger prey in a decent amount of time was...unlikely, and she wanted to get back to check on Shujaa and Us'kali.
