Vieve Nala blinked a few times, waking herself up out of a trance-like state and shifted her gaze over to the crow that she had just met minutes prior. With a small nod she answered the question, "Yes, ma'am" she said politely, she had always been taught to be repectful of her elders, and from what the crow had said earlier, she was most definitely an elder to Nala. The crow chuckled softly before hopping down to the cub, a soft smile plastering her beak as she examined the cub and then sighed softly. " Ahhh I should've known...what a pretty little thing you are child!" She then leaned forward to the cub's ear and whispered soemthing to her. " And I bet your a curious little one too huh?" The old bird said smirking to herself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Taku looked at Manata and walked closer to him, her ear's flattening against his head as she lay down beside him, hoping to comfort him as she placed her furry cheek agaisnt his. "Well don't worry...Mufasa is really nice...he won't let anything happen to you!" She pulled back, a warm smile plastering her muzzle as her left ear twitched at the presence of Athari.

Nala blushed and bowed her head a bit, she never considered herself pretty.. mostly because half the time she was covered in mud and dirt from playing outside, and the other half of the time, she was wedged in her mothers arms, wet with her fur sticking up at all angles. Much like Simba was at the moment.
She couldnt help but grin at the crows second comment, "Certainly not me.." Nala said with as much innocence and conviction she could muster, casting a quick glance over to her mother to make sure she wasnt watching.

The crow chuckled loudly and then wrapped her wing around the cub, smiling at her warmly as she looked at Nala. " I like you child...you'll be a great little lioness some day!" The crow then turned in the direction Maawio had run of and blinked in confusion. " I say who was that?" She asked softly.

Nala smiled back at the crow and then turned her gaze to Maawio as well. "Oh, thats Maawio.. I wonder whats wrong?" she said, her smile fading as she watched the other cub run off, apparently upset about something..

Jasiri laughed and giggled when she was tossed in the air, like she was a newborn cub. She felt so free, flying in the air like that. When he pinned her to the ground, she scratched at his paw, careful not to cut him. As soon as he let go, she sprung up, ready for anything. "come'on guys, lets get em!" she chased swiftly after him, getting close once in awile, but she was not match for a full grown lion. She stopped and plopped herself down in the sand, panting. "Ok, you win. But ill get you next time!" she grined.

Finally done, Sarabi released her cub. He was such a pawful at this age, never sitting still, protesting when she showed affection. Her face was soft and she chuckled as he darted out of reach. "Exploring the Pridelands would be a good idea, but you must promise me that you won't go out of sight of your father or some other adult while you are out." She let her own weight tip her over backwards, so she leaned against Mufasa's sturdy bulk. He was warm and solid, and for as long as this moment lasted, she was perfectly content.

Manata He rose up, a deep, throaty growl came from this small body."There is another here, somewhere. He smells like a leopard..."He sniffed around, catching his scent stronger.

Taku blinked and smiled before she stood up, giggling as she saw Athari and then looked at Manata cheerily. "Oh that's just Athari! he's one of my best friends wanna meet him?" Her tail started to wag happily as she stood up beside the new fox.

Wokovu laughed a bit as the two passed them, still trying to keep up but his smaller form just couldn't compete with the longer strides of the two. He did manage to keep up with his brother, behind sometimes, then back ahead again. eventually when jasiri stopped he sollowed down, trotting up next to her before colapsing, panting while laying on his side. "Geez... You... guys... are fast!" he managed to get out between pants.
Yakuti yelped when Mwali ran away from her, falling over before quickly skittering under the cheetah and watching as he ran with the cubs. Her large fox ears flicked before she looked up at her cheetah companion, giving a light smile. It was kinda nice having such larger preditors as friends. And there was one thing good about the pridelands, she could see alot easier. Without the generally blinding sun for most animals(let alone nocturnal ones) she was able to focus her eyes a bit more.
She stood when all the cubs had stopped, slowly making her way over to them by slinking. It didn't do much to help her camoflauge her sandy coat against the green grass, but it felt better to her nerves. And it looked quite funny too. ((yer welcome XD s'cute.))

He sat down, but kept his eye on Athari. His teeth were now bared as a warning to keep away from him. He then wheeled around and ran through the tall grass, hiding himself from anyone that may be able to see him.
