As it began to rain on him, he merely stood, moving to sit next to the body of Torment, his wing extending to cover the body from rain. Droplets danced off of his head and slowly ran to the ground, the male's eyes closed, though the fire around his head not faltering with the water.

*He glanced at all of allies standing around him thinking what great companions they all were. He could see that even though the situation was grim, there was still the power of love and friendship at work here. He quickly set his mind to the task of trying to heal Tor.*

I know that my soul energy is quite a powerful source for healing....but I don't know what effect if any it would have on Tor. I would be more than happy to try but I doubt even I have enough soul energy to heal him completely...or even half the way. He's pretty bad...

*He continues to devise a plan on healing tor up but this was beyond his expertise. He was more used to killing than healing, and this was a big fix up job. He gripped his staff of Divinity tightly and then it came to him.*

I got it!! This staff has the ability to harness energies from all living things around it. I usually use it to drain people of their life force during battles...then finish them off by having the staff convert it into a destructive energy blast..... What I'm trying to say is I can draw energy from each of us into this staff and instead of converting it into a destructive force, I'll convert it to a very very powerful source of healing. Between all of us it should be enough to bring him back to a more than stable condition and conciousness...

*He awaits the others' decisions.*

*Kalie wasn't a philosopher, but she did have a good idea what Darz was getting at, Torment had said similar things to her before, but those few times had been centered on his life and the protection their love granted it, not hers.*

*Sitting down on the ground, Kalie quietly hmphed, while paying the rain little mind. It wasn't presenting a threat to her, aside from forming wet marks that gradually began to spread across her clothing, soaking it through. The dark strands framing her face becoming almost jet black in color as they became waterlogged.*

"Waiting, doesn't involve me seeing him alive and well, does it?"

IV had decided he owed Torment at least a visit, especially in his condition. In his approach he had heard Cirino's proposal, and shook his head, calling out to the celestial being, "You want to absorb energy from an Afflicted, a Being of Energy, an Apocalypse Walker, and a Demon of sorts that has been empowered with most of the magic Torment used to possess? Oh yeah, thats smart." He pushed past Cirino from behind and kneeled next to Tor, opposite Vince, "I owe him a bigger favor than any of you, and after I grant it, you can all kiss my rotting a** goodbye cause I never want to see any of you ever again." He ran a finger over the cloth covering Tor's face, "Fitting really. He stole so many faces, ripped them from their bodies, and now look whats happened to the b*****d. I owe this man what you might call a life, this...pitiful existance, but nothing more." A ripple of necromatic energies passed from his hand to Torment's face, shifting white for a moment as it regenerated the basic portions of skin and his eyes. He got up to leave, turning away from all others, "An Eye for an Eye, a Face for a Face. The Debt is repaid."

Vince reached out to Torment's head, taking the bandana away and placing it on his own head, to cover it from the downpour. He looked to the now leaving person and decided to let him go. He didn't really wanna deal with more people at the moment, especially as he was rather weak at the moment and very preoccupied.

*Knowing what IV is, Darz uses Chaos Jump to get in front of him. Despite how much energy Darz has used, he was in the Chaos Realm long enough to be brimming with energy. A smirk on his face and a laughter in his step only says that he's ready for something more than utter boredom. Darz smirks towards IV as if he just did that to be funny. A sudden fist flying at IV's face, however, will speak very differently. To enhance the expression of the punch, Darz adds a mixture of Dark energies equal to exactly one quarter each Chaos, Banal, Voidal, and Black.*

Darz's punch connects with IV's nose, shattering it and causing the man to take a single step back as a spray of some rather nasty looking black ooze came flying from his nose. The bits that hit the charred ground sizzled and began to smoke, even in the rain. He put a hand up to his nose to staunch the bleeding at least some small bit, "I am far beyond anything you can imagine, boy. Get out of my way, now." Despite the cold look in his face there was obvious rage building within him, embers of black burning within his eyes.

*Scowling at both Darz and IV, Kalie's eyes narrowed dangerously. With her lover lying on the ground in something close to a coma, now wasn't the time to be childishly throwing punches at one another. Especially given that from appearances the general that had once served Torment as Regret hadn't done anything to harm his previous master, on the contrary it looked as though he had helped.*

*The smirk remains on Darz's face. He knows how strong IV is. In truth, he doesn't really care. If IV is here, then Kargin summoned him. Besides that, even Torment never figured out the true extent of Darz's powers and prowess with Dark energies. The fact that he has extended his reach from, soley, the negative-type into positive, as well, would only serve to surprise even those closest to him...besides Tarma. Darz, for the first time since arriving, allows his oddly mixed aura to be felt. The fact that Darz's normal Chaos aura is mixed in with Holy and Celestial makes the Chaos Afflicted seem even stranger.*

Oh? You? Kargin asked you here. I'm simply fulfilling a request from him.

*Darz flaps his wings a bit before raising his arms in a defensive manner. IV, even as he is currently, has yet to see Darz fight without any of his blades, and his fifth blade has been used so rarely, outside training upon his ship's simulator, that none of Terra, not even Torment or Kargin, have seen his skill with it. That's the one he'll use, if he needs to, but Darz wonders something about IV. A fight might not be necessary, but rearanging the walking dead's face would be an interesting...pleasure.*

You'll just have to settle with talking to this "boy". Besides, I've never really been that great at imagining things -- my mind being closed for so long and all.

IV pulled two stiff sections of bone from his forearm, each slightly pointed on each end, and pressed them up into his nose. With several other needles he created an intricate design upon his face, some needles sticking straight out while others were embeded inside. Small beads of black ooze that he called blood had formed at each entrance or exit point, smoking slightly. Cracking could be heard within his body as he turned away from Darz, "If you can give me a worthwhile reason to stay, I will, otherwise leave me the ******** alone."

If you help, Kargin will have no reason to ask of your assistance again. Isn't that what you want?

*Darz knows the situation well enough. Though he stands with a calm confidence, he remains defensively ready. Kalie's words hadn't fallen upon deaf ears, but Darz knew his actions were necessary. Regret wants nothing to do with his "master" ever again. It is interesting to see the walking dead refusing the orders of the one who summoned it, but Darz doesn't believe that this type of incident is all too rare. Shrugging, Darz readjusts his shades.*

*Not looking any warmer towards the two, Kalie eased herself up from the ground, making her way over to Torment. Moving slowly, so her steps would fall as quietly as possible on the dampened blades, the point was to not draw attention to herself, Kalie was still unsure on how close Vince would allow her to get.*

As IV was facing in the general direction of Torment, having turned away from Darz (who had 'teleported' in front of him) IV spotted Kalie, which wasn't all that hard. He didn't care worth a damn, let her go to the b*****d, let her see how badly he'd ******** himself up this time. He did not answer Darz, simply standing frozen, torn once again. He would be rid of these bastards for good, but was it a guarantee? Or simply words to keep him here so they could bore him off his a** for what could even be years on end?

Vincent glanced up, raising a hand and shaking his head. "Stay away, Kalie. Go inside the cottage or something." His eyes trained on her, begging her to stay away from Torment, not even close at the moment.

*Slowing, but not stopping Kalie looked at the house briefly and then back, her head shaking defiantly at Vince while mouthing the words 'I can't'. She couldn't just turn her back on Torment, and go back to the house, pretending everything would be fine. Kalie had made her mind up a long time ago when it came to Tor's injuries, she'd rather see him in pain then not at all. Even if the sight of the blood, broken bones, burns, and other assorted aliments he caused himself left her numb inside.*
