That would be kinda cool. But rather than be all about Biggs, be a two part book: The first half would deal with Luke and Biggs and the gang growing up. The second half would be about Biggs joining the Academy and later the rebellion and Luke on Tatooine.
Then an epilogue ending in the hangar scene of ANH.

Problem with Zahn is he only tends to write about characters and situations he created.
TTT was his start. Then HoT built on "Thrawn" and Mara. SQ was about Outbound Flight, and then OF expanded that.
And now Allegiance is about Mara.

Plus, its nice to have more than one author writing the series.
You get a fresh writing style.
I'd suggest FP write the book, but we saw how far the novel of CotGCW went. I'd do it, but I'm kinda illiterate when it comes down to the fantasy part of it. I'd end up trying to make it more sciency than fantasy.

I think LotF will be a good series, because of it's three authors and their alternating styles.
Allston, Travis and Denning.
Allston is a master at space combat and humor. Travis can do mandos and soldiers like no one else, great at ffocusing on battles.
And Denning.
Is a god.
At emotion and large battles.

Writing a book would be awesome though. I could do it if I had the time. I've written a few stories. But no novels or anything.
Actually, I came across, the other day, a story I wrote about a Sith Lord doing his laundry. This is one of the random stories I scrawled onto some paper during sunday school. Good times. It is freakin' hilarious. I'd type it up for you guys...but I really don't feel like it. And no one probably cares anyways...

One was called Zelda: Shadowed Throne, taking place after tWW. One was then SW: Episode VII: Shadowed Throne. Then I got into EU and said ******** this. One was SW: Jedi Phoenix. Trippy s**t about Anakin Solo coming back to life. I got over it pretty fast. And last was CotGCW novel. Didn't have time.
