Stranger things have happened even in this campaign, an elf going toe to toe with a half dragon in a drinking contest.
That smell is horrible I can't beleave I haven't smelt it before. I say as I rub the back of my neck. So where are we going to now.

I've never heard anybody complain about that smell before, but I guess not everyone likes it. Maybe I just like it because it means a storm is about to start, who knows.

Don't blame yourself it's like this smell, a ranger like me took a while to actualy smell it in the air even though my years of living in the woods. I say trying to reasure him.
Well I think it just annoyed him that it came out all of the sudden.

I guess Val doesn't know much about dragons, not sure if this could come back to bite me later, so I'll keep my mouth shut for now.
"It's not that," Cy says, "all the signs were right there, all this magic, the riddles, the mass extinction, and just look at those people." Cy points towards some peasants with yellow eyes and boils on their skin. Some seem to be coughing up blood. "That's blood sickness, it's so obvious. These bastards were using the blood of my people to fuel this infernal city!"

Cy is almost growling the words, obviously enraged at the atrocities committed, "Everyone seems to think that there's magic in dragon's blood because we're so proficient with it. Evidently these two uninformed bastards smegged up and used the stuff anyways. You'd think after the first 200 villages they'd get the picture. Just another atrocity perpetrated against my people, and they say we're the monsters!"

You eventually reach the door and Cy growls, "Sang Draconum"
The wooden door swings open, slamming into the wall next to it, revealing the same filthy room. Then the image of the room seems to be opening up just like the previous door. You see a large room made out of grey stone. On the back wall is an inscription and some engraved marks.
"Looks like another riddle." Cy says.

Great thats all we need is more riddles. I walk over and try to read the engravings.
Damn my unreliable intelect the one thing I was right about and it led to more trouble.

The engravings are in the center of a carving of the universe, it's written on the Earth with two spherical depressions circling about it. The engraving reads:
"With the blood of dragons the god's have met their equal
The heavenly bodies revolve around Earth because of its power
now they revolve around us and our limitless might"
You notice two small stone rectangles with knobs attached to them.

Cy I think we're suppose to twist these or something. This writing is pretty strange, with the blood of dragons the god's have met their equal what does that mean?

well liz lets see if we can pull off some kind of trick to fool the guards.
now lets see which one of us would be more human like me i suppose because you are so small compared to a human i guess i will try to disguise myself as a human and you as my slave then we can get in
