Hitomi didn't have to move, Roy's aim was bad as ever, she had heard him coming around the rock, and jumped with a flying side kick at his face.

The dust finally cleared.. to reveal Katare seemingly coughing his lungs out. (It's a metaphor, obviously.) "Damn it, I got unlucky again. Oh well, I guess I'm out..." Katare began to skulk away.. and after about 30 seconds of skulking, turned back and dashed towards Kinako. "Then again, I don't really care..."

"ow." Kinako fell to the ground, being knocked away by Katare. He didn't fall hard because when he fell, he used his hands to soften the fall. His hand took all the shock. He then lunged for Katare's legs, trying to tackle them so that he fell on the ground, and hopefully hit his head too.

Roy's rock missed but the distance between him and Hitomi gave him more than enough time to simly slip back behind the rock and wave at her as she went flying by with her flying side kick.
He couldn't possibly let an oppertunity like this pass him by. As she would come to a stop, Roy would slide around behind her and aim a knife-hand chop right to the slip of ehr neck where her shoulder and neck meet. If it conneced with enough force, it could knock out or even temporaraly blind a person but Roy wasn't anywhere near that strong or accurate yet so he was just going for a good shot.

(Okay, but sorry...)
Katare took yet another blow, this time being tackled in the legs. Luckily, his head didn't take the fall. (Err, so to speak...) It still caused a pretty large amount of pain, though.. Wait, wasn't this about as much force as Giglamesh had been dealing out before? "Of course... he attacked that hard, just to show us what fellow low-level ninja could do.. to prepare us to endure..." Katare stood straight upright.. And smiled, despite the fact that he was beginning to have trouble standing. "I finally found myself a Way of the Ninja." Katare then rushed Kinako.. again, except this time, his punch was an uppercut, directly into Kinako's chin...
