▱▰▱Satoshi set Soyeon down before she stood beside him. He rubbed the back of his neck at Botenmaru's response but was impressed by his dedication to getting stronger. When Soyeon looked at the bookshelf and then back to him he immediately stood straighter. Wanting to be helpful for his friends he walked toward the shelving unit and retrieved as many scrolls as he could. He walked back and placed them on a table surface but gave a katon scroll directly to Soyeon. "Here you go. I'll find some more scrolls." The options were somewhat limited. He stepped out of the area and collected as many scrolls as he could from different rooms. He was now rather close to the academy's entrance with arms full of scrolls and learning materials. One scroll obstructed the vision of his left eye. Suddenly, he bumped into another young man with black hair and a cloak. A few of his scroll fell out of his arms and he struggled to collect all of them off the floor. Yogen flew off his shoulder to grab a scroll that rolled away. "Sorry!" He said to Tetsu as he struggled to gather them all again.

__ Much too busy in his own plans and plots Tetsu failed to notice the boy who had come at his side and bumped into him. The motion,though slight, was enough to knock Tetsu off balance and cause him to fall to the ground, his arm managing to break his fall. Wildly he the gypsy son scudded around preparing himself for some kind of fight, his aunt had told him well enough there would be people picking on him for where he came from, but as he turned around Tetsu found only another boy who looked to be around his age. Hair as dark blue as the sea was certainly something Tetsu had never seen before but it was his eye patch that drew his majority of his attention. What happened I wonder?
He didn't bother to voice his question. Instead he only pulled up cloak that had fallen away enough to expose his face before leaning down himself to help pick up the mess. "It's okay-" Grabbing the first of the fallen scrolls struck Tetsu of the realization of what exactly was in his hands in that moment. The coveted secret of the ninja, this is exactly what he came here for so shouldn't that mean he should run while he could? Could this boy, whoever he was, keep up with him if he did? But then again how did he know that these specific scrolls were even what he wanted? It pained him but after a begrudging pause Tetsu handed them off to Satoshi. "Are you a student here?" Tetsu asked using plain conversation to disguise his motives. "I'm new here. Maybe I culd study with you?" Okay it wasn't a well thought out plan, but if he could ease his way in with another genin, or even better a group of genin, then just maybe he would be able to get away with learning a trick or two.

▱▰▱Satoshi simply nodded his little head when asked if he was a student at the academy. Once he finished gathering as many scrolls as he could off the floor he listened to his question. Yogen flew back onto his shoulder and dropped the final scroll into his arms. He would allow Tetsu to carry some of the scrolls as well so that they could split the load. "Sure! My friends and I were just starting to train for the test coming up so you can join us." It was clear that he did not find the stranger's question odd as he assumed that he was a student here too. He started walking toward where the others were and would walk beside Tetsu if he agreed to the training plan. "My name's Satoshi, what's your's?" He had almost forgotten but smiled brightly at the possibility of making a new friend. Once they reached the room where Soyeon and Botenmaru were he would plan more scrolls on the table. "Hey guys, I met him in the hallway and he helped me carry the other scrolls. Is it okay if he trains with us?" He asked while looking mostly at Soyeon as Botenmaru was quite engrossed in his training.

Botenmaru continued training, learning the extent of his iron bloodline. He continued training, learning to manipulate his chakra to preform the kekkei genkai's techniques. First he would learn how to create his impervious armor, coating himself in a metal skin, allowing his joints to stay flexible. After this, he would move on to a second technique, reinforcement. This technique would continue to enforce his steel which could repair it as it broke, making him impervious.
Pushing forward, Botenmaru would continue to learn the basics of his bloodline's techniques. The first of these two techniques would be the barricade technique. This allowed Botenmaru to make steel giant walls depending on the chakra spent upon them. This was good for defending himself and those behind him. Next he would practice the Steel Burial Technique. This allowed him to engulf targets in jagged steel generated from his body and trap them, slicing them to shreds in the process.
After completing these techniques, he felt his training coming to an end. He would begin learning the Steel Seeking Blood Technique. This would allow him to release steel upon impact with a target. The steel would release from his body or a weapon to explode forth and bury itself in the target's flesh to cause additional bleeding. Alternatively, it would be able to change directions of the attack and continue the assault otherwise lost.

Botenmaru next pulled his sword from his sheathe. He concentrated his chakra into the blade. After several moments his blade would release a dark crimson extension of chakra that measured roughly three feet. He would swing the blade about, assuring he was comfortable with it. This was the Samurai Saber Technique fabled by the land of iron, still useful to him. Additionally, he learned to make chakra objects, including weapons from pure chakra. Finally, to conclude his training, Botenmaru practiced two last ninjutsu. He would learn to create a flare with his finger. Smoldering hot chakra would errupt from a finger and create a light to signal allies to seek aide. Discipline & Cross Class Abilities • Juggernaut [ Bukijutu ] | The user suffers no restrictions of movement or drawbacks from any armor tier they wear and it requires no slot consumption from the Inventory System. In addition, armor they are actively wearing are increased by two ranks in durability and techniques that are increased in effectiveness against armor do not gain that bonus against the user. The user gains a moderate boost to strength and fortitude. Once every three posts, the user is able to defend an attack without paying an activation for the technique, instead spending it upon an offensive action if the user chooses. • Combat Medic [ Medical ] | Shinobi of this discipline gain the ability to pay for their simple taijutsu as complex. This does not alter its strength in collisions in any way from a standard simple technique. The user's body is more attuned to adrenaline, which allows them to receive a benefit from their techniques which use them every other post versus every three post. In addition, the user gains a slight descriptive in a chosen stat per body rank but must utilize all increases in the same descriptive. The user's body is treated with the durability of medium armor without any drawbacks. Furthermore the medical learning reductions gained from this class also count towards taijutsu learning reductions. The shinobi gains three tai slots, one at D rank, one at C rank, and then one at A-ranked. Finally, the user is able to augment their Genesis Rebirth Technique. Not only does this discipline allow the user to utilize the technique twice, but each time the user is restored of 250 chakra. The user also deals with trauma they receive at one rank less than other ninja. • Medical-Bukijutsu | The user is able to slash their weapon at a target, applying a healing technique to it and casting it upon the target. Every three posts the user is able to combine offensive medical ninjutsu with a bukijutsu technique for one activation, paying only the resource cost every three posts. ▱▰▱Before Satoshi could even touch a scroll to begin training a teacher stepped into the room. "Principal Uzumaki has recommended Satoshi, Soyeon, and Botenmaru for graduation. Therefore, there is no reason for a graduation examination. Here are your headbands, there will be a formal ceremony with your families later." The teacher spoke formally as she announced the news. Her hands were folded in front of her clearly holding the headbands. She would hand the forehead protectors and cloth to each academy student in the room who participated in defending the academy from the hellhounds and squid monsters. This was consistent with what Uzumaki-sensei stated earlier.
Satoshi accepted his headband with a polite bow before immediately looking over at Botenmaru. Without speaking he mouthed the words "take it" before smiling with encouragement. The other student to receive the headband would be Soyeon. Satoshi then tied the headband on before gleefully walking toward Soyeon with a pep in his step. Once he was next to her his excitement was immediately stomped out with a feeling of melancholy. He desperately wanted to celebrate with his mom but knew that he could not. This then brought on even more feelings of guilt. He felt like he was living a lie pretending to be someone that he was not. His guilt was that he felt like he was lying by omission and not telling his friends. He felt his smile fade with a sigh but hoped that Soyeon's excitement would cheer him up. He was also worried about how Botenmaru might react to the officiating of his promotion to genin without a formal exam.

the teacher came into the room and announced that the three of them had been approved for graduation! Of course, the time had long passed but it was good to see their efforts not being fully wasted now. The teacher did mention a family, which Soyeon was happy for Satoshi and Boten. Both likely had families of their own. She only had the matron and even then, she didn't seem as interested in Soyeon's growth than anything. Still, she wanted to be supportive of her friends and would approach the teacher to prepare herself to be given her headband. Satoshi went first, the eye patch wearing leader officially securing his to his body and then returning back to her and Botenmaru with a wide grin. "Congrats, Satoshi~" she clapped her hands together, waddling forward to have a headband of her own tied across her forehead. She was so excited, feeling the material pressed against her forehead, she could just take off from all that energy inside of her.
Soyeon spun around on her heal and smiled at Satoshi, taking her place beside him again while offering him a cheerful arm grab. "We did it, all thanks to you, Satoshi~" she stopped at seeing his rather forlorn face, her own shifting to one of concern. She couldn't rest while Satoshi was feeling bad! Not on her watch! "Hey. Is anything wrong? Was it something I said?" The fresh genin showed concern for him, checking back on Botenmaru every now and again to make sure that his headband approval technique was going as smoothly as possible. "I won't tell, I promise."

▱▰▱Yogen looked at Satoshi's melancholy face after Soyeon asked him if he was okay and rolled his indigo eyes. He immediately flew off in an attempt to avoid any sappy or sentimental talk. The crow then landed on Botenmaru's shoulder with a loud "clank" when his talons touched the armor. "I don't know what you're fussing about. You unsuccessfully fend off some monsters and they give you a promotion without a stupid test. Sounds like a bargain to me!" Yogen then cackled between guttural squawks. The crow was interested in the armored lad who seemed determined to improve. "Why resist when fate throws you a damn bone once in a while?" The crow's tone then became more serious as he emphasized fate. It was not often that destiny allowed one to actually catch a break. It was clear that Yogen was in favor of Botenmaru just taking the headband and moving on.
When Satoshi's arm was grabbed he upturned his lips in a strained closed-mouth smile. His eye still revealed his true feelings of dread and guilt which betrayed his attempt at a smile of excitement. "Nay, no fault be yours, but we must discuss alone." A deeper but more graveled voice escaped the teen's lips compared to before. He noticed from his sudden change in height that he was now older and suddenly aged by his body's reaction to the cracking of time. He gently locked his arm more fully in Soyeon's before leading her to a door that led to the outside. "Aye, we'll be back soon." Satoshi said to Tetsu, Botenmaru, and Yogen as they stepped outside. He would sit next to her on the school's bench outside the doorway. He released her arm before resting both hands on his knees. He felt a whirlwind of confusion and felt as though he had much to say but struggled to say it. The lad was bound by many restraints from his mere existence being a dark secret in the village. He felt immense gratitude toward the Hojo family and particularly Toso for taking him in though which only amplified his guilt. Satoshi sighed and stared at the ground before continuing. "Y'see, I've got secrets that I can't tell you. Y'know I'm adopted by Lord Arashikage but I can't tell yee who I am or where I come from because it be dangerous. I feel guilty that I must be placed in the position to keep the truth from my friends. Times like these remind me but I always try to forget." Satoshi felt that he was already revealing too much and would not go into any further detail. He trusted Soyeon enough with that much and desperately needed the advice. Satoshi then sat up and removed his bag before unzipping it and retrieving an old hard-cover tome. He opened the book of forgotten lore and pointed to a specific page about prophecy. "There also be dark truths about my future. When I met the crows years ago they told me things that would happen. Aye, but some o' those things they told me have come to be true. I age too fast, my future is already known, and I can't even take control of my own destiny. I don't think any o' us can. I don't know what to do." Satoshi showed her the specific lines. The language in the book was archaic and Satoshi had already obsessively read it over many times. This hinted at the possible influence of his change in diction with sudden aging. The book would say that the crows as the former messengers of the gods have access to prophesy and the future among other extensive details. Satoshi kept all of this bottled up for so long that it was all pouring out of him at once. "What do yee think?" He realized that he was hitting her with a lot all at once but hoped that she would be able to ease his anxious mind.

Avalanche and Kaito would arrive at the academy without any struggles. It has been a lifetime since they have stepped foot in this place. The location seemed calm, and save for the occasional student walking by. As they approached the main gates Avalanche scanned the building. "Bureaucratic things like papers usually get stored in attics right? That's probably where we should begin our search." Avalanche said to Kaito. Of course, how they reached the attic was a question they had not even bothered to contemplate along the journey to this location. It was for this reason that the impulsive Avalanche had their right hand to their chin as they were trying to follow through with the plan that they already suggested.
Botenmaru's training had been going quite well, he felt like he had advanced his general knowledge of the world here in a very short time. His time, while well spent did not feel as though it merited what came next. Yet another teacher appeared to the group. This time, one he had not seen prior. His visor turned to face the instructor as they called out to those in the room. " Agai-" he began, ready to argue with the academy's decision. It was then he caught Satoshi's subtle words that accompanied his bow. ' Take it. ' This caused him to pause, thinking things over. As he stood, unsure of the action to take in the face of the new turn of events a feathered visitor moved to his armor with small `clink` noises as the bird's talons grasped at his shell. An avian voice squaked to him, encouraging to take the deal. Botenmaru unaudibly sighed benath his plate. " Fate graces today, but leaves bodies in ditches tomorrow." He said, knowing the crow would understand his meaning. He was assured that if the group wasn't prepared for the real world that their early voyages may soon get them slaughtered. With the weighty decision seeming to be made for him, a metal coated hand grasped the presented headband. He examined the trinket with an uninterested gaze beneath his visor before tying it just above his plate mail and below his neck to add as a throat guard. " I accept this, only with a challenge. " He gripped his sword firmly, drawing it and readying it along with the shield in his left hand. " If I've learned all I can from them. They couldn't beat me." The challenge raised itself to the teachers in the area. There were three and Botenmaru could only roughly estimate their ability somewhere between Chuunin and Konin. He wasn't sure, but he'd tear them apart to prove to himself he was strong enough to stand beside another group of comrades.

[ Chosen: Paralysis, Trauma ] • Forge Master: At creation, the user may choose Armor Smithing or Weapon Smithing. The character begins at Apprentice Status in that chosen crafting profession. The user is able to use their Steel Release's metals to forge all weapons and armor they create with durability that matches their body rank. In addition, each weapon or armor crafted this way gains an additional ability unique to that weapon that must utilize the clan's abilities in some way. Finally, items created this way can be freely absorbed into the body and expelled by paying an E Rank amount of chakra with no activation for each item removed during combat in this method. • Iron Tomb: All the user's techniques that would cause petrification in a target are instead changed to metal as they have their flesh's structure changed into steel. This metal element being added to the petrification status causes all petrification to occur at the next highest tier as well as adding an additional cost of the user's body rank in chakra to break the limb free. • Heavy Armor Specialist: Botenmaru's armor is able to endure one additional strike of it's durability level before it degrades. This effect can only be used once every three posts. • Endless Aegis: Botenmaru's shield is treated as heavy armor instead of a weapon, giving any drawbacks standard heavy armor would along with it's defense rating. • Bootyenmaru: Botenmaru's fascination with piracy demonstrated by Satoshi grants him and anyone in his crew ( party/group ) double rewards for Ryo.
Discipline & Cross Class Abilities • Juggernaut [ Bukijutu ] | The user suffers no restrictions of movement or drawbacks from any armor tier they wear and it requires no slot consumption from the Inventory System. In addition, armor they are actively wearing are increased by two ranks in durability and techniques that are increased in effectiveness against armor do not gain that bonus against the user. The user gains a moderate boost to strength and fortitude. Once every three posts, the user is able to defend an attack without paying an activation for the technique, instead spending it upon an offensive action if the user chooses. • Combat Medic [ Medical ] | Shinobi of this discipline gain the ability to pay for their simple taijutsu as complex. This does not alter its strength in collisions in any way from a standard simple technique. The user's body is more attuned to adrenaline, which allows them to receive a benefit from their techniques which use them every other post versus every three post. In addition, the user gains a slight descriptive in a chosen stat per body rank but must utilize all increases in the same descriptive. The user's body is treated with the durability of medium armor without any drawbacks. Furthermore the medical learning reductions gained from this class also count towards taijutsu learning reductions. The shinobi gains three tai slots, one at D rank, one at C rank, and then one at A-ranked. Finally, the user is able to augment their Genesis Rebirth Technique. Not only does this discipline allow the user to utilize the technique twice, but each time the user is restored of 250 chakra. The user also deals with trauma they receive at one rank less than other ninja. • Medical-Bukijutsu | The user is able to slash their weapon at a target, applying a healing technique to it and casting it upon the target. Every three posts the user is able to combine offensive medical ninjutsu with a bukijutsu technique for one activation, paying only the resource cost every three posts. Medical techniques cast in this manner cost five chakra less per rank of the technique.

Soyeon blinked at Satoshi, whom had just earlier sounded just as somebody on the cusp of teenhood would sound. Instead, this new voice of his was gruff and tough. Maybe even a bit of a weird accent. She would appear very confused but before any thought could be committed, her arm was hooked around and away the two went. Soyeon was dragged behind Satoshi as she did her best to keep up. They found themselves on a bench just outside of the academy, the girl now looking worried of what Satoshi was keeping from the group. He started off simple, being adopted, but would go on a bit deeper. Soyeon crossed her arms. "Satoshi..." she tried at first, letting him finish his thoughts for the time being. "Just tell me what's bugging you. I can't help if I don't know."
Then the book came out. Soyeon's eyes lit up as she watched Satoshi flip to a certain page in particular. The text was old, ancient by her standards. For one, this all appeared as just garbled garbage. It was like somebody ate alphabet soup and puked up all the letters. "Hmph. I can't even understand any of this." Satoshi told her pretty much everything. That it dictated his future and everything. The aging, something about his future, everything. It was a lot to lay on the girl, as she could only just rattle her head around it all.
"Listen, Satoshi. I don't know about the book, but you can't just tell yourself that you don't have a choice." Small advice, but well given. "Listen, you control your destiny. Not some stupid book or a bunch of birds." She offered it to the boy while then pursing her lips. "And even if it did, we're friends, Satoshi. Even if you're some teen now, you'll still always have me! Your biggest 9 year old fan~" Soyeon winked, sticking her tongue out, and unaware of her own change of age.

▱▰▱Yogen's squaked cackling was paused by Botenmaru's insightful response. He then stared pensively at the headband that was presented to him. When Botenmaru grasped it and then issued his challenge his laughter resumed. "Surely you all wouldn't be afraid of a greenhorn academy student!" Yogen audibly supported Botenmaru's challenge. Frankly, he just wanted to see what would happen next. Kid's got guts. I like this new friend of Satoshi's. The crow thought to himself as he remained on Botenmaru's shoulder. He would only consider flying away to spectate once combat began.
Satoshi felt his emotional pain overwhelm him from the amount he had been carrying for so long. At least he knew that Soyeon was willing to listen to him even if she was not completely understanding. Regarding the book, Satoshi knew that she would be able to read the text well enough despite some of the confusing old wording. He listened to her advice and he wanted to believe what she believed. Free will; it seemed like such a distant concept and almost a luxury to him. He dismissed that idea years ago the moment the crows read his prophecy. "It be bigger than this book, the crows, yee, and me. The gods control our every move. We think we have choices, but how can we? When Kogarashi attacked this village Evergreen appeared and destroyed the Rinnegan. Do you think that be a coincidence? Their fate was to lose." Satoshi spoke with conviction in his voice as he laid out his case that the world was without choice. When Soyeon spoke again stating that she was still a nine-year-old he arched his brow. "Nay, you be older too. Look." He folded one of his hands into a sign before concentrating his chakra. A mirror made of water then formed in his hand before pointing it at her. The mirror would reveal that Soyeon had changed as well. He turned the mirror slightly to look at his new self. "Yer under the same spell as me. They say that when Evergreen took away the RInnegan that time was broken. Some have aged faster, slower, or not at all since then." Satoshi then retracted his hand to allow the water mirror to dissolve and drip out of his palm and onto the ground. When he refocused on Soyeon he rubbed the back of his neck. "How...do yee deal with it? It makes me scared that I'm going to become old and sick too fast." The fear could be felt in his voice and he had finally made a friend who might understand. This fear of his own fast aging had also fueled this philosophy of intense fatalism that he had adopted. He also assumed that this was not the first time this had happened to Soyeon considering that the time schism had happened five years ago.

Alternatively, if no genjutsu is cast then viewing the shroud merely causes first-tier mental stress or insanity. Well, Soyeon tried. Satoshi still seemed to be hellbent on accepting that free will was the same thing as what was written on these pages. Something that was written out plainly, never deviated from. She gave him a pout but would listen to his side of things. "Well, yeah. I, uh guess..." she stumbled, trying to find the right words. Her eyes searched the book a little, cursing herself for not being able to read it sooner. "But that's because they were stopped just in time. It's not like it was fated to happen or anything. And even if it was-" Soyeon stopped as a thought hit her mind. "Wait...Does that prophecy include us? Are you alone in this?"
What caught her more off guard was the next little discovery, which Satoshi gladly displayed her via a simple mirror technique. The girl nearly screamed at her reflection. Everything was bigger now! He legs, her hair, her chest! "Ahhh! Wh-Why'd this happen to me?!" She panicked, grabbing her face and stretching it out, feeling around her body and hair, anything. Was this some kind of prank? She wanted to see if this was some kind of genjutsu that Satoshi had put her in. She formed a single hand seal and focused her chakra. "Kai!" After a bit of waiting, nothing really happened. She looked at herself again, but with no real luck. "Kai! Kai!" She cast more of them before biting her lip in worry. This wasn't a genjutsu!
"B-But you're the prophecy guy. Wh-Why'd I get changed too?" Soyeon whined, looking at Satoshi while he spun the tale of Kogarashi had attacked their village before Evergreen appeared and would bring about the destruction of the Rinnegan, a legendary dojutsu that was said to grant the user immense power. She grabbed his arms in anger. "Change me back!" The girl said in a demanding tone. "Change me back right now or I'll...I'll...Damn it!" Her hands would begin to glow a white color, her chakra being expelled in a burst of emotion. Thankfully she realized this in time would throw her hands away from him, a shoddily made sphere coming from the hands made of white chakra, which disintegrated as fast as it appeared. Soyeon would look at the boy again before looking rather surprised at what she did.
"Sorry." she said, crossing her arms. "This is...just a lot to unpack. But I promise." Soyeon's hand was placed on Satoshi's arm, giving it an affirming squeeze. "I won't let you suffer through this alone. Botenmaru and the others won't as well. You're stuck with us forever." She would need some time alone with her thoughts after this. This new body and mind to match was different form the one she had been for so many years. Despite aging up in a matter of seconds, her mind raced around as fast as it had before. Maybe even faster, if that misfire was anything to go off of.

Takao took a long drag of his cigarette as he walked around, still shirtless since he'd forgotten it in Shion's room. He was trying to relax in the face of all of the new information that had come his way since this morning, especially the realization that he was a jinchuuriki and the kage was, too. It was weird. It should feel like reality had been turned on its head, but he he felt distant and numb to the realization.
"That's not healthy," Chomei chastised.
"Neither is hearing voices in your head," he responded aloud before taking another drag of his cigarette. He stopped dead in his tracks as he'd turned the corner and seen two kids on a bench, who very well likely overheard his comment. They wouldn't be privy to Chomei's comments, which meant he looked like a lunatic. "Uh, I'm not crazy please don't call your sensei. Like, if Sensei Tsubaki realizes I wasn't kicked out of the village for the briefcase incident, she'll make sure I'm taken out in, like, a coffin." He took another drag as the thought of his old Sensei made him extremely nervous.

• [ Channeling Martial Skill ] Once completed, all techniques are able to carry two elemental properties. • [ Phantom Slayer ] The user is capable of leaving phantasms of their own body at the end of every phantom slayer technique they preform for no additional cost. These are considered E rank phantasms, effecting only sight. • [ Sobagai Deba Sentou ] The user becomes more accustomed to all combat revolving around small weapons combat. The user's speed and reflex when wielding a small weapon is increased by a slight amount. • [ Sobagai Deba Sentou ] After each technique, light shines in the opponent's eyes and reduces their reflexes for that turn equal to the rank of the technique used by the practitioner. • [ Sobagai Deba Sentou ] Once per post, the user may use a single D-Rank or lower technique involving small weapons without paying the cost. This still requires the activation be utilized. • [ Sobagai Deba Sentou ] All projectile weapons used as a small weapon for this style gain a slight speed increase per rank of the parent technique. • [ Kakumei ] This allows the user to detect when an offensive action is about to occur, giving them a slight increase in reflex per body rank of the user. Additionally, once every three posts, the user is able to defend against an offensive activation without utilizing an activation. This ability is passive. • [ Kakumei ] This reduces the required chakra by 5 per rank for complex techniques that channel elemental powers. In addition, this does not reduce the potency of the user's techniques in collisions. • [ Kakumei ] Once per post when using a technique from this style after the user completes this training, a C Ranked elemental clone of the user may be created in their place as they move out of sight in some manner through role play. This costs no activation but requires a C Rank amount of chakra each time done. These clones have access to C Rank and below Basic Combat Skills. In addition, each of these clones, upon being stricken with a value equal or greater to C Rank explode, sending their specific element flying outward fifteen feet. Each clone requires an E Ranked Upkeep per post. • [ Mirror Image Art ] After learning the Shadow Clone Technique from the maruton list, the user may cast the Shadow Clone technique in conjunction with techniques from this style to replace mirror images with the clones. Casting Shadow Clones in this manner does not consume an activation. • [ Mirror Image Art ] The user has learned to control their chakra in a fine manner which allows them to create an additional mirror image per rank of the technique it is executed with. These additional images do not increase the strength of the parent technique. • [ Small Circle Combatives ] The user has learned to utilize their physical arts with mimimal effort while obtaining equal results. Simple techniques require 5 less stamina per rank of the technique. This training may not be layered with other training that gives reductions of this manner.
Kaito pushed past Avalanche just to brandish his badge at the secretary before walking past her. "Come on, now," he said in a voice that was more projected than his typical manner of talking. His back was straighter, too, as he took on the role of being an officer of the law once more to get into areas he wouldn't be permitted into as a civilian. It felt gross, and his badge felt like a heavy anchor in his hands, but he had to do this with Avalanche. He would burn the badge when he was finished with this corruption task, but if it could get them where they needed to go, he would pretend he intended on staying in the APD for as long as it was useful.
He pulled down a string from the ceiling, releasing a hidden staircase to the attic. "Might wanna cover your mouth," he warned as he brought his shirt up over his own. He moved up the stairs into the attic, where the dust threatened to suffocate him immediately. Geez, they needed to hire cleaning staff or change the detention punishment to cleaning up the attic. The dust up here was going to make him asthmatic. "Let's get this done as soon as possible. I don't want play officer of the law any longer than necessary." He didn't look Avalanche's way, feeling guilty about lying; while he was technically still an officer, he had every intent of withdrawing from the force and it made him feel filthy for waving the badge around, like he was as corrupt as the others.
Avalanche felt surprised when Kaito took the reigns on the operations. It completely slipped their mind that Kaito, as an officer of the law, would just be able to use his badge to get to the necessary area. Suddenly they felt very silly for all of the escapades that went through their mind to get to the goal, such as scaling along the side of the building with suction cups. When Kaito brought down the ladder to the attic Avalanche could not help but cough a few times. The dust was so overwhelming that they had to cover their mouth to not gag further. Nevertheless, the two made it into the attic, and Kaito went his way while the vigilante went another. There was something strange about Kaito which Avalanche noted, but had no idea why they felt like that. After all, Kaito was a good person and thus earned the badge he had. Still, since the two of them were on a mission, they instead continued to search through the boxes for information. "I'm not finding much on sensors. How are you doing on Yamanakas?" They asked over to their comrade as they continued to scan files. A lot of the records did note sensors, and of higher ranks. However, most of those sensors, like Selina Rosewater or Kagerou Kiritani, were way too prominent members of society to join in the search for corrupted police officers. Not to mention that, while Selina has assisted in the past and is trusted by Kenshin, is still in cahoots with that ridiculous kage Toso.
