Gael Post ??? He looked down at Kani as she spoke but shook his head. Honestly he hadn't been paying attention to anyone if they were calling for him. His concern had been for the girl in his arms. "I don't know, Kani." Turning his head to look around he noticed the way others were surrounding the Alkidikes. There was talk of exile and the like so he gave a faint smile. "The fighting is over Kani. It's over." Gael kissed her forehead affectionately then looked back at what was going on.

V'demhe Post 17 She didn't reach him. Though Dem did see him go into the healers tents. Before she could follow there was something else going on and it warranted her full attention. So her sisters were going to be banished. V'demhe gave a painful look toward those that stood with the extremists. Aselia being the main one of her focus. There was a moment where she thought about going with her to make sure the young mystic would be alright... She looked at the growing crowd of earthlings and felt her shoulders sag. In her assessment of the crowd she saw someone that lifted her spirits a little and she moved through the crowd until she got to him. "Virain!" Without warning she'd wrap her arms around him and pull him close. There was a moment where she searched him over to see if he was badly hurt then she turned her head to look at the extremists group. V'demhe would tug at Rainy slightly before she'd look at him. "Do you trust me? I want you to meet someone." Slowly she'd make her way to the front, making herself visible to the extremists. "Aselia.. the favor you owe me, please.. I want you to meet the one I fought for. This is Virain and I love him." Well if that didn't put someone on the spot then what would? She cleared her throat then reached a hand out for the mystic. "Don't leave your people just because your eyes are veiled. Come home with us.. all of you." V'demhe was hoping that the extremists would reconsider their actions.

Syqvara Post 17
She had missed the last of the battle since she'd lost consciousness but the commotion in the tents stirred her. Some were happy about something and she shifted so that she could sit up and figure out what was going on. Groggy headed and still a bit dizzy she stood up slowly. "Wh-what's happening?" The small leaf girl asked of the nearest person. There was a mumbled response about the Alkidike's being defeated and she quickly looked around. Nyiim? Blinking she tried to remember how she'd gotten to a tent.
"Oh no.." She'd been a hindrance! Sy moved out of the tent and searched around for the friend she'd made before the fighting had even started. She wanted to make sure he hadn't fallen because she'd made a mistake. Another face she searched for was Chandra's, though she had less hope of seeing him than Nyiim. Syqvara was sure he wasn't near her at all.
Once she stepped out and started to look she felt the weight of what was going on truly hit. The fighting was over. They had staved off the Alkidikes. Thank the spirits! Unfortunately, Sy had gotten up and started to walk before her body was ready for such a thing and her legs gave out causing her to sink to the ground. Sitting there she watched the crowd and waited for the final act of the battle.

Ruelash (Post 13) If Ruelash had known that the Oracles had come down from their lofty peak, he would have been incredibly interested in what they had to say. The Oracles of Mt. X'i had always fascinated him, their legends oddly resonant with him though he had never actually seen one in person or, more accurately, at close range.
However, he was aware of little else but frustration and his own wet, labored breaths. Stars danced in his vision as he struggled for oxygen in his inadequately filling lung and he raged at his apparent inability to get up.
He lingered on the edge of lucidity, and it was in this state that he was... well... pretty sure that the face that materialized in his vision was that of Bergchi herself, come to take him away or something like that. He blinked stupidly at it, puzzled that her face should look so much like his sister, and he mumbled something wetly unintelligible to that effect.
He choked and groaned as she treated him, wriggling weakly against the pressure as he coughed up bright red blood, stray fluid that had found its way into his lungs. His head lolled, disoriented, from side to side as he tried to get a decent breath into his collapsed lung. He mumbled some babble as he did so, clearly falling from conciousness: ”Too tight.” he said, Gotta breathe. Can't. I lost, ye know. It's gonna hurt...” He choked again, grabbing for and missing his sister's arm feebly. Funny he thought, fatiguedly, My blood don't look like so much out there...

Kaalnia (Post 11)
Kaalnia stepped nimbly through the crowd, holding the fangs of her most hated enemy, and searching for her daughter and dodging amid a sea of angry people – her sisters, all angry and confused and a frustration and a half. She loved them, but she knew her priorities – they were pretty darn clear.
She barely registered the approach of the strange group, her attention only on one thing – Kiki. Where was Kiki?
Finally, she spotted her daughter in the front – or end? - of the extremist crowd. ”Kiki!” she shouted, rushing over to her. She wanted to hug her daughter for being safe and shove her for getting into this mess in the first place, but [with blades held in one hand and spear held in the other, she settled for giving her a look.
”Kiunyki...” she began, only to trail off as the strange Ice tribespeople spoke. She followed the conversation raptly, keeping her daughter in view at all times.
”Right then.” she said, turning to Kiki, ”Take that.” she said, shoving the swords at Kiki, ”We're leaving. We're going home. “ she ignored Kiki's protests, grabbing her daughter's arm with her newly freed hand and proceeding to bodily drag her out towards the edge of the extremist crowd, ”We are just plain out of here. I refuse to let you strand yourself with these idiots.” she pretended that she didn't see the familiar and stubborn faces around her, pretended that she didn't feel their glares at her back, ”We're going home...” she looked at her daughter her gaze made wild and intimidating by a cut on her forehead that smeared her face all over with red, ”And when we get there, you are so grounded.”
Kiunyki (Post 10)
Kiki watched the approaching figures with confusion – there weren't many of them, but they had somehow stopped the whole encounter. They began to talk about foreseeing this and preventing that and exile and Kiki tensed, confused. They had lost? They were being exiled? What was going on? What did that mean for her? Her heart began to race, and she began to panic as she tried to figure out what to do.
At the sound of her name, Kiki turned to see her mother emerging from the crowd. She was extremely injured but alive, and Kiki felt both joy and shame at her appearance – joy because she was alive, wondrously and gloriously alive, and shame because she had not stayed behind to help her remain that way. ”Mama!” she cried out, running to her.
”Mama, I...” she took the swords in surprise. ”Mama, are these...” but she was soon being dragged away. She clutched the swords (the bloody swords, oh Aisha's petals, they were bloody...) to her chest as her mother pulled her out of the crowd.
”But Mama...” she protested, ineffectually. Her mother was taking her away from the people she supported, the people she agreed with, the people who were right in so many ways. What about them? What about Lumikani? ”Mama, stop! You don't understand!” She kicked out and struggled against her mother, but Kaalnia was determined to take her from this place.
”Mama...” her words made Kiki nearly cry. Idiots? Refusal? Kiki could not believe what she was hearing, for her mother had never refused anything she had ever wanted. It was becoming clear, painfully clear, that Kaalnia did not understand that this was what Kiki wanted – that she wouldn't understand at all. And, moreover, that escape would not be possible.
Then again... exile? Did she want that, when she was so uncertain? She slumped, her struggles ceasing rapidly. She did not want to be exiled. She wanted to be with them, but not... not without her mother. She sniffled, frustrated and angry, and let herself be dragged back down the slopes of the Sautian mountain, hopeless to stop her mother's inexorable pull... and not sure whether she wanted to.
((Kaalnia is surrendering, and by surrendering, I mean dragging her daughter out of this nonsense and taking her home.))

Nuawahn (Post 11) ”It was good?” he asked, his magic fading as he paused, his slightly dulled eyes searchingly desperate for approval and reassurance. His face melted in relief as he saw that it was indeed good, and he gave Chimelu a sudden, quick hug – more for his own sake than for Chimelu, as he was still clearly tense and shaking. It didn't help much, but it was at least something nice for Nuawahn amidst the horrible chaos.
He pulled back, looking around him with the twitchy wariness of a small shrinking animal, and it took him a moment to figure out what was happening. ”They're leaving?” he said, confused, ”Forever? But why?” he squinted through the Sautian haze, ”Did the Ice ladies...” he frowned as his gaze registered a male or two among them, ”tell them to go?” but then why were they going? Alkidikes didn't do what they were told – he remembered that. But then again, other Alkidikes had weapons and were threatening them and... and his head hurt.
”I don't get it.” he said, uneasily, ”Is everything okay now?” though... he didn't see how it could be, after all.

Kayin post 16
Kayin took a few steps out of the tent to see what was going on. It looked like the fighting had stopped, and the crazy buggy ladies were going to be...exiled? It sounded like they said exiled, but who knew.
"Looks like the fighting is done and over with," she commented. "Not nearly as bad as it could have been. We're lucky there were so many volunteers to help defend the boarder."

Tahira post 11Well now that was interesting, of all the people and groups who could have shown up, oracles were not whom Tahira expected. She was still entirely unsure how much she trusted them and their legend but Tahira at least knew of these people and their presence seemed to have decided things once and for all. "It's okay for now but I don't expect it will last forever," Tahira replied with a heavy sigh. Many sisters were surrendering but others refused to back down and would rather accept banishment. These were sisters she had grown up with, played and trained and dreamed with as they all sought their place within the tribe. As much as she could not forgive their stance and actions it hurt to see them go. "I'm not looking forward to going home," she noted softly before glancing back over at her companions. "We did it though, Sauti is free and you guys don;t exactly have to travel far to be home so there is that."

Yansa turned to the people of Tendaji. "These Sisters will be transported south and to the island the oracles speak of. Those that wish to help guard may join us." She announced. They would move out soon, and they would be traveling quickly. Anything the leaders of Tendaji could manage to end things as soon as they could.
The remaining Alkidike Extremists, with the Matron and Aselia in tow, were marched south. The journey was long, traveling back through Tale and Jauhar to get to Oban lands. There were no beasts to carry them back down the cliff face this time, but the Extremists seemed to pose no resistance anymore. They would scoff and demean their temporary earthling captors, but without their numbers they looked to the Matron for guidance. They trusted her.
The oracles had given the directions and had said their piece, but returned to their mountain top, leaving the others to transport the Alkidike without them.
At the southern tip of Tendaji, standing on Oban soil, the crowd gathered. They had sent messengers ahead of the crowd. To ask the Oban king to prepare ships. They would need enough to carry the traitors along with their guards, and those just curious enough to step foot on new soil. Though no one seemed too sure on how long the journey by sea would take, they soon set off.

|| All characters can choose to join the traveling group or to return home. If they choose to return home this will be the end of their part in the meta. If they choose to continue on, there will be one more closing NPC post next week. || The meta has now time jumped to being on the ships on the last leg of their journey. (characters can still recap leaving/traveling/preparing the boats/wrapping up convos, etc. this is just a guide for where the next meta post will pick up) || Because of the time jump forward and the end of the meta next week, characters may post up to three times until Monday night when the closer goes up.

Winta || Post Eight || Dexurn || Rogue Winta listened to Dexurn explain about both Oba and Matori with just a nod. So he didn't appear to like Oba very much. Why was that? Winta tried to think back to the war. There was something pushing at her to remember but right when she was about to grasp it, off it would go. "I can tell you like Matori more, despite not ever going there before." She grinned, before looking at the spear she had completed. Looked like it was good to go. She put it off to the side while he continued to explain about the housing in Oba. "Wait--what?" Winta stared at him with wide eyes for a moment. "Did you say master?"
Just before she could ask more questions, an older woman came rushing into the tent with the news on the war front. Winta stood and looked over the notes the older woman had taken to spread the news to those camped out in the nearby tents. "The wars over." Winta said with surprise. "They're being banished?" She asked with a frown. She didn't like how they seemed to be getting off really easy but there wasn't anything she could do. Apparently they were going to be able to go to Oba to see this troupe of extremists off. "Dexurn." Winta turned towards the boy who'd been working on a spear. "Want to go to Oba and see them off? Afterwards I'll go to Matori with you.... If you want." She offeredCornetified [[Since we get to see them off, our "second" post this round could be them traveling there? For a moment he stood there with his arms at his sides while he tried to figure out what happened and what he should do. Chimelu wrapped his arms around Nuawahn's shaking frame tightly in a genuine hug. "Hey, it's going to be okay." He gently assured the fellow wind. When Nuawahn let go and began asking questions, which Tahira answered, he just looked at the crowd that was setting down their weapons and heading out.
"You think it will be tense back at home?" He asked, directing his question back to Tahira. "Seems like we can go to Oba to see them off. Do you want to go?" Chimelu directed his question to both of his companions but his eyes searched Tahira's. Would it be too much for her to say goodbye to them like that?DraconicFeline [[Are they going to go to Oba?]]

Dexurn Post 9Dex nodded lightly. She was right; he'd never been to Matori, but it already felt like home in his heart. His auntie had made sure of that. Holding up the pointed spear for inspection, he held it out to Winta with a smile. He thought he'd done a good job! Winta's confusion and surprise was met with a confused expression from Dex. "I... yeah..." What was it? Had he upset her? Maybe she'd had a master before, too? He jumped with surprise at the rush, looking at the note now in his hand. He stared at it blankly before setting it down. Instead, he waited for Winta to elaborate on the contents. The notice of the war ending made him smile again. That was a relief! Winta's questions made his brow knit slightly. He wasn't sure about Winta going down through Oba. However, if her homeland was hot and sandy.. maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Besides; he would have better luck getting reoriented to get to Matori from there than here. He couldn't help gawking though as she offered to go with him. "If you're sure you want to go through Oba..." Happy to let the spear drop, he stood and quickly bowed. "I'd be grateful for your assistance!"

alek post seventeenWhile he was shocked to see what Alkidike and earthling alike had done to the land outside, that shock paled in comparison to what was happening on the battlefield now. Overwhelmed by his people's determination, if not their numbers, the Extremists had been forced to stand down. They were being exiled. And the earthlings were being invited to watch. "Do you want to see them off?" It seemed more like they were all scolding the women at this point rather than simply ensuring there would be no more fighting, but even though he would be of no use in any capacity as a guard, he would go if Kayin wanted.

Winta || Post Nine || Dexurn || Rogue The others in the tent began to put things away in various bags for the weapons to be transferred to the desired locations--now that they had no use. Winta picked up the spear Dexurn had discarded and looked it over carefully. Overall, it actually wasn't a bad piece. She could tell he was fairly good with his hands and seemed to have good carving skills. "This is really good Dexurn." She smiled at him before putting the spear into a bag and handing it to him. "You should keep it. If nothing else you can show your family how skilled you are." Winta winked.
When Dexurn bowed to her for a moment she looked at him curiously before patting his shoulder gently. "I'm sure. Besides, I think you'll need a friend to come along." Winta said with a nod before continuing to pack up the supplies she had brought and the weapons she had crafted.
--------Slight time skip-------
Before they went out with the rest of the group heading to Oba, Winta had managed to locate a few Leaf members who would be willing to take her weapons and supplies, that she wouldn't need for the journey, with them in a couple hours time. In return she promised them an item crafted by her grandmother and a weapon repair for no charge. They accepted the deal and it seemed like things were going to be off to a good start. Winta hitched her bag over her neck so that it rested across her left shoulder, chest and then hung down at her right hip. "Dexurn, are you ready?" Winta asked with an excited grin. She had never been to Oba or Matori and the journey made her more than a little energized. Not to mention she had someone to travel with and if she was being truthful, she really wanted to help him get to Matori. The master thing he had told her about still bothered her but for once she was at a loss for what to say or do. "I've got all I need."

Virain Post 6 He could feel himself blushing terribly as V'demhe found him and pulled him in close. He resisted the urge to pull her closer, to hold her in front of everyone. It wasn't the time for heartfelt reunions no matter how much he ached to pull her off to the side and tell her just how much he loved her. He flushed a little darker in shame this time, as she examined him for wounds. He knew he must look a sight, with the blood that had come from both himself and others dried and flaking on his skin and clothing. But he wasn't hurt, the cuts having long since scabbed over.
He paused as she asked him if he trusted her, confused at her question. "I do, I know you'd never hurt me on purpose." He replied, and perked up when she said she wanted someone to meet him. Was it her parents or one of her Sisters? He followed her as she made her way through the throng of people, until they pushed forwards and broke into the circle around the Extremists. He swallowed nervously but managed to hold his ground. This was important to her for some reason and he wouldn't question it too much.
His eyes widened as he listened to her, and it was with a flash of disappointment that he knew her words would have little meaning to the one she was speaking with. This Aselia and the two flanking her didn't look as if they would be changing their minds any time soon. He gave her shoulder a squeeze and he looked like he wanted to say something, but...he knew. If he said anything at all to them Dem's hopes would be dashed that much faster.
"I love you too V'demhe." He murmured instead. He knew what it was like to lose family and he only hoped that he could do something for her to help ease the pain.

Lumikani Post 23
She was furious, that much was clear as she marched through the lands surrounded by Earthlings and Sisters. Her arms would often shake and she kept to herself, trying to get over her anger at the betrayal of what had just happened. The entire situation was such a blur, such an amazing travesty. She was banished, banished for listening to the Mystic and following and protecting her sister.
Why the others weren't banished for spilling blood was beyond her.
Grumbling as they neared the southern most coast, Lumikani finally snapped out of her focus from the past few weeks, her hands bloody from where she had gripped them tightly.
Sisters had changed their minds on the walk south, but she would never change hers.
"Aisha would not abandon us at this time, sisters, she would never turn away. We are hers, and she is ours." she mumbled to herself, trying to not think of the fact that the great roots of the greater mother would be beyond this island.
What could she do but look forward?
