And oh did she heft it. Oh did she throw that barrel like she meant business. It was accompanied by a loud battle cry and a dramatic swing and everything.
"DID YOU SEE THAT, SMILES?" She crowed and jumped and cackled, not unlike Ignatius had been doing earlier. "I TOTALLY SMACKED THAT BRIDGE!"

"Aha, Lady Noemi!" Milo grinned when he heard a call towards him and noticed the redhead. He made a motion to make a comment about the chickens, as he had already encountered a few, but was unable to as the gigantic tar dragon made its presence known to the group.
Milo was eager to follow and to help but unfortunately slipped. Thank goodness for Percival, who earned a thanks and slightly embarrassed laugh. Maybe he'd go work on adding more weight to the draw bridge, that seemed like a good idea.

Ignatius may have had a tendency of running his mouth, but he definitely knew better than to answer the clearly rhetorical question about looking like a tree. Bona fide hot chick, though, was a fair assessment, and Ignatius gave a small nod in response as if he was agreeing. "Yes, you are definitely female and not a tree," he remarked, with a small laugh.
To the knight that had the unlucky barrel, he winked at her and offered a, "I had much better luck with the barrels!" Perhaps they would work out well for her, too...
Just then, he heard the barrel from Piper smack against the pile, and he whirled around, forgetting what he was doing for just a moment. "SEE? DETERMINATION AND OPTIMISM, PIPER!" He shouted, in turn, scooping up another wagon barrel and heading towards the bridge.

... Taking a second to focus and charge forward seemed to be the worst idea he had ever had, considering it seemed like a monster was quite interested in his wagon barrel. So interested, in fact, that it snatched it away from him.
Ignatius shot a glare at the retreating monster. "Weren't you happy enough with those cursed spirits?!"

The way was clear, and he arrived without much trouble with a sizeable group of defenders. Their strategy laid out before them, Thomas got to work right away, searching for something that he could use to drop on the bridge. Finding a keg, he hefted it up. It seemed that it was actually still quite full, which was probably a good thing, as it made it heavier.

Finally at the edge of the battlement, Thomas was able to drop the keg over the edge, though he didn't quite give it a strong enough shove, as it quickly banged into the side of the wall, before hitting the bridge.

That chicken was a slippery, panicked sort, and there was nothing Thomas could do to hold onto it as a monster swiped at his arm. He let out a yelp, and back pedalled away as fast as he could, before shooting at the thing with his crossbow.
