Twisting through trees, she found herself face-to-face with one that was particularly tall. Fourth, the white rabbit thought- if the tree-stump counted as one, anyway. Feeling the strangest compulsion to touch it, Reine reached out a hand, drawing back with a squeak when the tree bent over to stare at her.
"Oh, please, you're not putting your hand in my nose are you? That's so very disgusting, and I'm afraid I haven't cleaned up yet. Very disgusting indeed. Come back again when I'm clean."
"... uh. Okay." Shuddering, she pulled away, stepping back as the tree seemed to stretch itself out.
"I'll see you later.."

Millie tried a tree that had a different shape and not quite as long. This tree was very, very broken.
More importantly, it was sobbing.
"I'm so very sad", said the broken tree. "So, so very sad indeed. I left my glasses around here and now I can't find them. Can you help me out?"
"Yes! Of course!" Millie chimed. "I will help you feel better."

Rubbing absentmindedly at his injured stomach and fuming at haven been whomped by a tree, Soren approached his last tree. He never wanted to look at a tree again.
In fact he would have "overlooked" all requests made by a tree, but this one? Shaking it? That was something he could do.

Millie looked around many colorful bushes and under them and on the path and beside the sign... how far could glasses that belonged to a tree fall, anyhow?
She returned to the broken tree and sobbed with it for a while because she couldn't help it find its glasses.

The funny thing was- she'd retraced her steps back to the dirty tree, and it just.. it wasn't there. Maybe it had dragged itself to some nearby pond for a shower- that wouldn't be too far-fetched, all things considered.

A familiar flurry of branches and leaves attacked her, and with a shriek she tore through the forest, back to where the exclamation mark had been.
"Done with your stupid trees."
There was a cacophony of threatening creaks from all around her.

Trees stretched overhead, but none of them moved or spoke like the weird nose-picking one from before. Punchy kept his eyes on their branches anyway, at least until he stumbled over a knee-high oak and felt teeth graze his hand.
"Watch it."
"Guess what I'm hiding!"
"My foot up yer a**?"
The tree tucked all of its sharp little teeth back in its mouth just long enough to frown.
"Fine. What?"
"It's in my mouth! Look!"
It opened its jaws wide, wider than probably should have been possible, and out plopped a vaguely moist shard of... something. It was red, and Punchy got the idea he was meant to pick it up, even though he really didn't want to waste his time. He eventually did so anyway, shoving the thing into his pocket and forcing a smile for the tree's benefit.
"Thanks. You know how to get outta here, by any chance?"

Oh what am I even saying. It's never day here... Grunted Rei inwardly, seeing himself in another...dream.
Yep. Ghosts do not supposed to dream. Or can a Tsukumonogami dream? Do robots dream of electric shee---
But hey. What effect can a dream cause to you? Of course, if this is the USUAL kind of dream. For some reason Rei cannot even remember WHERE did he slept before getting this dream, on when.
This dream...
-is a bit too colorful for my taste, noted him dully. Bright colors, a trail...
-a TRAIL?
He looked right and left to find other things. Huh. Not anything save than yards and yards of emerald green grass, sprawling until the horizon and sparsely, trees with no fruits or items of any importance.
Just one way road.
Mentally taking a sigh, Rei walked down that road, while experimenting...a bit.
Okay. So he can see his fingers clearly...so this is not a lucid dream.
He can feel things perfectly...including a rather stinging cut from a blade of grass. Honestly, this spells trouble.
-as in, he's not currently a Ghost. But a corporeal body.
Walk and walk and walk... -a strange stump.
"...What."
Rei remembered something like this. The story do NOT QUITE proceed this way, but....
He peered into the hollow stump, looking for something that looks like a rabbit with a watch and hat, saying that he's late...
-but nope. Only darkness awaits him inside that trunk.
"Hello? Anyone there or should I ask why am I dreaming about Wonder-"

This time, Millie was able to find the glasses under a nearby rock. Thankfully they were not broken.
"Thank you, oh my goodness, thank you indeed. Here, have this." the tree rumbled happily.
It gave her a fragment and was quite insistent on a hug.
"Ow!" Millie cried as the tree poked her in a not-so-nice-spot. Well, it's the thought that counted. Or so she kept telling herself and the tree did seem rather happy.
Maybe she needed to find something else to do for a while. Finding a map, she looked for a different zone to go to. She had had enough with sobbing trees for a while.
