Lillian looked over in the direction of the fence as she heard Adrian saying "Cool it" and the barking stopped almost instantly. She also took notice that Roxy was not tugging at the leash as hard now that Adrian was nearby. "I love how you can do that with animals." she said, wishing she could be that good with animals. She then replied to what ADrian had said and gave a small chuckle. "I can't imagine he would, since no one would want to buy puppies that looked to have mange." She looked down at Roxy, who was staring at something and it seemed that Adrian noticed it too, as he said something a moment later. "Oh my..." Lillian said as she saw the jaguar in the house. Sure, it was a pretty animal, though she wasn't sure just how Roxy might react and she didn't know how the big cat might react to the dog that was staring at it, even if it be only out of curiosity.

Adrian blinked, glancing towards Lillian when she chuckled and spoke. He noticed her eyes rising before she inhaled sharply upon noticing the jaguar. "I do know that jaguars like that female aren't common around here... much less one that would sneak around households apparently looking for something.... or someone," he said, his voice noticeably weaker after he paused. He didn't like the idea that was flickering at the edge of his thoughts: that the jaguar was looking specifically for him.

Lillian was staring at the jaguar and wasn't really sure whether she should move or not. The cat didn't seem aggresive, yet that could change if it was provoked. Just then little Pogo slipped in through an open window and let out a little mew and pounced up on Roxy's back, though he was not being taunting or mean to her. Instead he nudged her head with his tiny orange head and then started licking her fur as if cleaning her, or telling her and Lillian that she needed a bath. Roxy did not like this, but she was too focused on the big cat to worry about the tiny ball of fur on her head. "I know... Maybe it's friendly since it hasn't tried eating us yet... And who on earth would that be...?" she asked before processing everything completely that had been said by Adrian. "Oh no! If it's after you then it can leave. I'm not having any big cat, no matter how pretty, taking you away from here." she said as she started connecting the dots and thinking of how Ivory had transformed into a leopard. She doubted that this one could be her, unless Ivory was some sort of shapeshifter.

Adrian shrugged. "No idea," he said as the jaguar suddenly moved, leaping into the tall bushes before his eyes widened slightly as a woman only a few inches taller than Lillian stepped out in a pair of jeans and a black tee shirt with wavy caramel-crimson hair that fell around her shoulders. "So you're my brother's godson," she said idly, leaning against the garage. "You're not Ivory," Adrian stated, making the woman laugh. "No, I'm Natalya, her sister-in-law. Her husband is my brother," she said with obvious amusement. "I guess shapeshifters are out there, though somehow it doesn't surprise me that much," he sighed to Lillian.

Lillian looked at the jaguar as it leapt into the tall bushes and then a woman appeared from where the big cat had disappeared. Roxy let out a soft yelp as she saw the woman suddenly appear, as she did not take well to new people all the time, especially ones that came upon her and her owner so suddenly. She did not growl but rather tucked her tail between her legs and shrunk back behind Lillian's legs. "Roxy, she's not going to hurt you... And you shouldn't be afraid of her this way... if you even need be afraid of her at all..." she said sighing, as she looked at her dog, poking her head out from behind her legs. Pogo ran right up to the woman and rubbed his tiny body against Natalya's legs and was purring loudly. Lillian soon turned her attention back to Natalya. "You're not taking him away are you...? I mean if Ivory and your brother want Adrian... Couldn't they talk to him or call or something?" she asked, her voice sounding a bit stressed, thinking that somehow this woman was going to tell them that Adrian had to come with her and something crazy like Ivory didn't like them being together. She didn't know why that came to her mind, but it did anyhow. 'Yeah... Since all that has been happening I think that anything is possible...' she replied to Adrian, hoping that he'd not paid any mind to her thoughts before her reply to him.

Adrian saw Natalya shake her head with a grin, looking highly amused. "No, I have no reason to take him anywhere; I was just passing through the area," she said with a snicker. Adrian sighed softly. "I don't blame Roxy for being tense... seems I have family I never even knew about popping out of everywhere," he said softly; he noticed Natalya scratching the kitten behind the ears as she knelt. He personally liked his life the way it was, with very little in the way of stress and trouble... well, no more trouble than he had already.

Lillian took notice to Natalya's grin and she frowned. She could tell that this woman seemed amused and she didn't like that at all. "Good..." she said in reply as she felt Roxy starting to tug at her leash and in the direction of Parker's yard. "No, you dumb dog you can't be with him right now..." she snapped at Roxy, jerking the leash back. Roxy looked at Lillian with wide eyes, her ears and tail drooping. She was sorry for snapping at the dog, but she was a bit tired, stressed and wanted to go back to bed, though she remembered that she wanted to talk to her parents about having a picnic. "I need an asprin..." she sighed and then looked to Adrian. 'I can see that... I mean first it was Ivory in my window and now her sister-in-law in my yard... Not that that's a problem or anything...' she sighed as she rubbed her temples.

Adrian sighed as Natalya turned away, flicking her hand as if in farewell. "I'll be around; you may not see me always, but Razvan knows how to reach me," she said as she quietly seemed to melt into the bushes though she didn't come out again. He noticed a flicker of the jaguar's tail in the most distant bushes before it too vanished. "Man... if I thought it would help, I'd drink some hazelnut ale, but I had left that at the cavern. Guess I'll settle for going back to bed," he sighed with a yawn. He was tempted to say what he'd actually been thinking of, specifically he'd thought of saying 'Guess I'll settle for snuggling with Lillian', though he didn't say that.

Lillian was a bit happy when Natalya left, just because she was getting a headache and she really did not want a ton of chatter. She knew that if there was more than just her and Adrian there might be a lot of talking and that was just not what she wanted. Tilting her head she groaned as she heard someone calling out to her. It was the next door neighbor's daughter and she was saying something about Parker, vacation and needing someone to watch him and that Lillian was the only one they trusted to do so. "Ugh... All right Leia... I'll watch your dog for you..." she sighed before apologizing and saying that she was tired, had a headache and wanted to go back to bed. This made Leia laugh before thanking Lillian for agreeing to watch the dog. 'I cannot believe that I just agreed to watching Parker with Roxy possibly being in heat right now... I swear if she does end up expecting puppies and they look like Parker I am so dead... I mean I had to watch him before, but Roxy was in a different state of mind and every time he got near her she wanted to rip his head off, though this time she might just welcome his attention...' she sighed to Adrian before tying Roxy's leash to the railing of the porch, walked next door and then was nearly dragged back to her house and Roxy by the large Alaskan Malamute named Parker. "Parker, sit." she said and the big dog just sat right down without any refusal at all. "Sheesh... I wish Roxy was that obedient when I told her to sit..." she said as she watched Roxy tugging at her leash, trying to get to Parker.
Just inside the back door was Lillian's father, who had seen Lillian bringing the dog from next door over and he wondered why she had done so. He cracked the door open and poked his head out, his bed head still not combed out yet. "Why did you bring that dog over here?" he asked, his voice tired, yet firm. "Daddy!!! Uh... Leia said that her and her family were going on some vacation and that they wanted us to watch him... We're the only people that they trust to watch their prize dog... I mean if something would happen to him they'd be heartbroken... And you know that I'd be the same way if something happened to Roxy." Lillian said, hoping that her father would let the male dog stay. "Fine... But you keep that dog away from Roxy... And you know that I am bring that breeder in sometime soon, since I know that Roxy will be ready to breed around know. And right now I don't care whether you want her to be with that male that I chose, but you're going to be happy with whatever happens. We're not keeping any of the puppies anyway." he said, mumbling the last bit.
Lillian swore under her breath at her father, untied Roxy and dragged both dogs into the house and up to her room, locking the door. She tied both dogs on opposite side of the room and she lay on her bed crying. She did not want Roxy having puppies with that smelly husky and she was going to make sure that she never did, just like she always had, but she was certain that her father would try bringing that filthy animal over when Lillian was away and unable to stop it from happening. She had opened her window, thinking that maybe Adrian could come in that way, or she could just open her door, if she knew that it was really him and not her father trying to take Parker back over to their neighbor's house. "Why does he have to be this way... I hate that stupid mutt that he wants to breed Roxy with... I just want Roxy to have puppies and not have to be completely separated from them when they get new homes... I wouldn't want to break up her family like that when and if she even has one..." she said to Adrian via thought, hoping that he might be able to comfort her and relieve some of the stress that she was under.

Adrian tilted his head as he tilted his head, sighing. "Life is a pain in the a**," he muttered as he half turned, walking up to the back porch before he flickered out of sight, letting his body dissolve into the air where Lillian's father couldn't see him. He materialized just inside the door of Lillian's room, ignoring the slight whimper the Malamute made as if he were startled. "He thinks only of what he can gain from her without realizing that she has already saved everyone in this house once already and likely will again in time. If we were to reveal... certain things, then he would realize that what he sees is like a needle to a tapestry, extremely narrow... and in the end, virtually useless," he said quietly as he paused near the bed, rubbing Lillian's shoulders and upper back in a massaging movement, unknowingly tapping certain pressure points to produce physical pleasure.

Lillian was still softly crying into her pillow that she had pressed to her face that she hadn't noticed Adrian coming into the room right away. She noticed that Parker had whimpered, but she thought that it was only because he wanted to be with Roxy who was tied near the closet on the opposite side of the room where Parker was tied to the dresser by the window. "Shut up you dumb dogs... You can't do anything together without getting into trouble, so why bother...?" she said as she suddenly heard Adrian speaking. She didn't want him to see the tears streaming down her face, yet she could guess that he knew she was crying. She felt him start rubbing her shoulders and her back and she shivered as she felt Adrian rubbing certain spots on her neck and upper back. She rolled over, sat up and looked at Adrian and then she looked to the dogs. "I know that Roxy has saved us once... And I thought that she was just barking at nothing when she was really barking at that evil, disgusting, well whatever that was out there. I should have given her some of her chicken jerky dog treats for that but I didn't... I have some in the dresser over there, but you can't give those to Parker. He can have the little steak shaped treats, though." she said as she nodded to what Adrian had said. She wished her father would look beyond his own nose, but he never did and typically missed out on things that mattered most.

Adrian tilted his head slightly, focusing so that a couple of each flavor of the snacks she mentioned levitated out of the drawer as it opened before they slid to a stop near the dogs, well within reach of them. He tilted his head as he hugged Lillian. "If you want, I don't mind massaging your back for you; it can be very relaxing," he said quietly, his tone surprisingly gentle. He knew he was looking out for Lillian's best interests above his own yet it didn't bother him at all for a reason he couldn't explain even to himself.

Lillian really did not notice the treats that were floating through the air to the dogs, who were snapping at them before treats stopped on the floor beside them both. Roxy snatched up the treats quickly, though Parker was hesitant, however, not for long. "That probably would make me feel better, since I do sometimes go to the spa after a long day at a swim meet..." she said as she wrapped her arms around Adrian. She did not notice at all that Roxy had managed to get her collar halfway off and she slipped out, just as she used to as a puppy and was right over with Parker.

Adrian glanced towards the dogs. "I don't mind you two being together, as long as you don't do certain intimate things in here," he warned them. He gently massaged her shoulders and upper back with a low chuckle. "Hey, if it relaxes you, I don't mind doing it; heck, if you ever want me to wash your back I'll do it," he said quietly, a teasing note in his voice.

Lillian was busy nuzzling against Adrian and hadn't paid attention to the fact that he'd looked to the dogs. Roxy had looked right at Adrian and so did Parker, yet he looked startled severely. Roxy's ears perked up and she looked to the opened closet door and she knew just how to get Parker's collar off. The leash was not tied too tightly and she was able to pull the slip knot out and she had the leash in her teeth and was about to lead Parker into the closet. Meanwhile, Lillian was still trying to calm herself from her little argument with her father and did not know that her dog had been tricky enough to get Parker free and was draggin him to the closet. "Adrian, shush! If Daddy would be out there and hear that he'd have a fit, though not like I'd care, since he is already saying that he's going to ruin my dog's life..." she said, unaware that the dogs were nearly in the closet.
