Oh thankies! emotion_yatta Yeah, I knew basically everyone would, but I did it anyways 'cus its one of my favorite Christmas Sweets. Otherwise it's just the usual chocolates and cookies and stuff that I can have almost any time of the year. XP Well, Aside from eggnog and chocolate covered cherries, but I didn't know how I'd do the chocolate cherries.. sooo.. yeah. Besides, I had items that worked for this and right when I was re-doing my avi plan for today I got another cute peppermint item from a RIG. Oooh.... now you're asking a goood queshun xD I have no idea how that would translate into English, but I'll try my best xD
The most common is what we call kerstkransjes, literally translated into English 'Christmas wreaths'; they come in lots of different sorts and they're so good >u< Most people tend to hang em in the Christmas tree too, although the past few years we switched to just putting them in a bowl or such cause the tree eat-ed them and then sometimes we would take the tree outside after the holidays and find several of them falling out xD
The chocolate ones with white speckles are my fave, there's something like marzipan or such inside emotion_drool
The next one actually has an English wiki entry, so I'm gonna let that do the talking: Banketstaaf/letter
And one that originated in Germany but is just as big in the Netherlands; it's kinda like bread/cake, and also has an English wiki entry so here you go: kerststol
And then there's a whole array of cakes an' such, probably more candy too but I can't really think of any from the top of my head xD
So yeah, more wreaths an' such and less peppermint when I think of Christmas candy emotion_yatta  Are you making any of those? They all look so good. I love Christmas baking.

Nope, generally we just buy em, since we're awfully lazy~ emotion_awesome (And those wreath candies are more like confectionery than baking which I'm not at all good at sweatdrop )
Baking IS a lot of fun to do though, I totally agree on that~ heart
