*Shortstraw looked to her.* "Are you sure? She might be on me the whole time..." he replied but kept his smiled. At first he was unsure he heard her right. But he nodded, "I guess though she might like that. To be included." He chukkled and gave a nod, "In that case i guess in the morning i will go out and hand out the invitations to everyone."

Kiera nodded, and only hugged him tighter. "I'll go with you, i want to see Eve and Dante anyway. I miss them a lot." She admitted.
Mary saw there were words inscribed at the bottom of the page which she didn't understand. They were in some other kind of language, or something. She shook her head a little but went to the edge of the circle anyway, and started chanting the words. "Hic en spiritum, sed non incorpore, evokare lemures de mortuis, decretum espugnare, de angelus balberith, en infermo inremeablis!"
Richards body caught on fire.

*Shortstraw nodded and agreed* "Sounds good then." From there the night was smooth for them and as planned the next moring, well almost afternoon due to kerias sleeping habits, the two walked up to the castle. There shorstraw opened the door, "It's been forever since we've been here it seems yet... not so much." He chukkled. "I already gave everyone but eve and Verias invites." He handed the invite letter for eve to keria, "you give eve this. I'll go see veria." He nodded and gave her alittle hug, "i'll come meet with you when i'm done." He nodded as they wet off on there objectives."

*Eve was within the main room she was always in nower days, reading a report of some kind demanding funding for schools. "Heh, shouldn't they have enough after the last two fundings i gave them?" She asked herself as she tossed it tot he side and sipped some coco from her desk as she picked up another more important notice about the cleanup of a town epidemic.*

Kiera nodded to Shortstraw before she left to find Eve. It did feel like forever since she was in this home, and it smelled weird to her. She smelled something nice anyway, coming from the kitchen. She made a mental note to talk to Hikari, too, to see if she could offer up any good recepies she had concocted. Kiera found Eve at her desk, and smiled. "Knock knock." She held the invitation tight in her hands behind her back although had the very large temptation to just run up and hug Eve. However that would ruin her cool. She couldn't ruin her cool.

*Eve about spit her coco and put her feet down as she leaned right in the chair. She put the cup down and cukkled, "Hey been wondering how things have been for you latly." She smiled, Honistly i'm alittle jelious you got your own chunk of life now." She joked. She seemed tired though, and there was almost bags forming under her eyes. "how have things been?" She asked seeming interested that keria came to vist her.

*Meanwhile shortstraw slipped into veria room to find her little form sleeping. As he closed the door she woke up however and rubbed her eyes, "huh... shortstraw?" She rose up tirdly and looked to him. He came to her again. He must have needed somthing. "Sorry i didn't mean to wake you... wait have you been sleeping all this time. It's been almost two days." Veria nodded tirdly, "it takes alot out of me to be me." She smiled, "Do you need somthing?" Shortstraw smiled and walked over to her and shook his head, "No not this time. I brought you somthing." He handed her the envilope. She seemed confussed, "What is this, why do you bring me it." She asked staing at it blankly before looking to shortstaw. he chukkled, "Just open it." She nodded and slid out a spachally made card and read it. Her eyes lit up and she froze. Shortsraw noticed and chukkled, "Keria said it herself this time. I had nothing to do with it. She said she wanted you to come tommorow." Veria looked to shortstraw with a blush. "But she did not owe me anything. We never made any deals... why would she want me to come to a party? I never been to a party before." She looked back to the card as confussed and puzzled as ever. Shortstraw laughed, "No veria, it's not about a deal, or anyone oweing anyone. We just having a little party for kerias birthday, and she would like you to come is all. you don't have too, it's a invite." She nodded, "Oh... okay... tommorow?" he nodded, Yep."
In no time shortstraw was already gone and she stared at the card. She never been asked to go anywhere before, expechally a party. or a birthday party. She wasn't like other kids. She was conffused. She thought her sister hated her, but here she was to go to a thing just for her sister. She looked to her snakes currled around her for wamth. "Look Mr Giggles," she smield and held it up for her snake to see, "i get to go to my first party!"

Kiera chuckled a little. "Honestly? Things have been difficult. My house had been bombarded with not only a psycho rare Yokai that tried to drag me off to her lair, but also my ex boyfriend that i killed a few years ago that's apparently not dead any more. And then there's my birthday that's coming up tomorrow." She walked a little closer and cleared a place for herself to sit on the desk, just as she would always do when talking to Eve, she then put the invitation on the desk in front of her. "Don't make me beg you to come. I'll be stuck in a swamp of idiots."

*Eve looked to the envilope and leaned back as she opened it, "Well i must say your timeing is perfict. I was just about to leave at the end of this week. Theres a large battle thing going on in the south." She looked to the card and chukkled, "However this will defently get my mind of things before i go. Tommorow huh." She gave a single nod, "I suppose i can't leave you with all the idots now." She chukkled. "Come to think of it, isn't this your first party? heh, i'm sure you excited."

Kiera rolled her eyes at her. "Really? No. Just no. Shortstraw arranged it all for me. He insisted. I tried to be against it, but then they all ganged up on me." She laughed. "I'm only one person." She looked around the room. "You know. Sometimes I kind of miss being here. Then i remembered Amelie and Yuji live here. Then my mind is brought back to sanity again." She looked back to Eve. "You're going to a battle? You know you should ask me to help you with things. I did offer to help you with this ruling thing ages ago and i still mean it."

*Eve shied* "Well the battle is more of a... second thing going on down there. First off theres a boundry line that marks the boarder, and the people on the other side are... taunting and such the ones on our side. So on the line they are now in a roit on both sides. At the the same time, the south is facing a epidemic where they don't agree in two seprite citys and theres really causling a a ruckus down there. So i have to go and sort it out with my own hands if you know what i mean." She seemed bothered to think about it then smerked, "I know you said you would help sis. However you now have a life. And i can tell you from experince that ruling is not as cut out as it sounds. I don't want to make your life that your starting difficult becuse of the country aswell. The way i see it, you have what i can't. Therefor i don't mind doing the job untill your fully stable." She shrugged, "Though I planned on asking you to help me with a situation regarding a treaty agreement i have to go to in two weeks, it's time for a reknewal and the other side is isaking alot. I'm not sure it's worth it." She shied again, "I'm itching for a fight though. I'm tired of being cooped up in this small office with a s**t load of paperwork. I havn't swung my sword over my shoulder in over a month! A month!" She chukkled and leaned upright.

Kiera sneered at Eve. "And here's me, who was only fighting a couple of days ago." Even though it was teasing, it made Kiera remember things she didn't want to remember. She laughed anyway. "I'm pretty sure I could find you some enemy to kill somewhere. I seem to have a lot of those lately." She frowened a second, then looked to her lap. "Hey Eve. Can I ask you something seriously?" She inquired.

She looked unsurely to the desk. "Recently I almost got caught from One of my enemies. There are plenty where they came from. And I'm slightly worried about Shortstraw’s safety." She squinted in thought. "I'm trying to think of a way where Shortstraw won't do something rash if something happens to me. I don't want him to get into trouble because of me. I would ask Veira but... well I don't know how well I can talk to her yet." She sighed. "I Know you're probably the wrong person to come to about this, with how much work you already have."

*Eve stood up and walked over to the door to close it. She then turned around and stood, leaning with her arms crossed. "I figured the time would come sooner or later you would ask somthing like that. There are many point is can hit here. I will try my best. First off, i gave you that letter becuse i know that boy would be as strong as he could for you. Second, if he ever got hurt, as long as you still showed you cared for him, he would never ever blame you for anything. It's the way he is. He's one of thoughs times that rather blame himself instead of watching someone else take the blame on somthing. Which leads to my third and finale answer. Shortstraw has a fate of his own set for him. He is alrady in trouble, becuse he was born. He was born to do somthing his anssesstors chose for him, instead of alud him to choose. But, he almost never found out. He almost had the cance to never know, and he did choose for himself. Thats why he left for two years. Shortstraw decided he rather be in the trouble with the demons his whole life, so he could also have the abilty to feel like he had a better chance to you. He was wrong, but being young he had to learn. he has now i'm sure, but he never goes back on his decistion." Eve nodded, "Veria will always back shortstraw wether you talk to her or not. Thats why she decided to leave you alone when he left for a while. Why she no longer does the thing she did. She loves him just as much as you i'm afrade, but she rather back him just in case. Now i'm not in the world as much as i used to. I've been here. I know not what any of you have been up too latly. You fear shortstraw will do somthing rash if somthing happens to you, i agree. He will. And Veria wont be able to hold him either. The way i see it, he will have to learn for himself. Will any one be there if it ever were to happen. Yes, i too like the kid. Not as you and veria do, but in a way i like him. He's a good guy." She chukkled, "Though you better not get beaten up that bad without calling for me." She chukkled, "I suppose i already know what your birthday gift will be tommorow." She smiled.
