"Enough arguing about this. I am staying." Charlotte told him. Charl coughed up a potion then and she gave it to Atticus "Why do you have to make things difficult? That girl is made specifically to kill demons. Even if your life is shortened, I don't want it to be today." she said.
The kitsune reached down and pressed a switch on the radio-like device that hung from her belt, not taking her eyes off Atticus as she did so. "She's outside," she said flatly before releasing the switch and preparing herself once again. The shooting in the house suddenly stopped and after several seconds there was a loud crash and the sound of splintering wood as the girl erupted through the roof, landing surprisingly gracefully on the edge of it. She looked down at the three of them with a big yet strangely frightening grin, highlighted by the moon in Charlotte's sky. "Found ya!" She yelled down before jumping off the roof and high into the air. She turned upside down in the air as she arced over Atticus and Charlotte. She opened fire as soon as she jumped and a furious hale of bullets came down on the three of them. Atticus and the kitsune wouldn't be too much bothered by them but Charlotte would of course take serious damage if she was hit. Meanwhile, the kitsune rushed towards Atticus, dodging left and then right before making a wide sweep of her blade towards his neck followed by a full spin aiming for his torso and ending with a vertical slash aiming straight up his chest. The blade left a red afterglow with each movement almost making it look like the kitsune was drawing a red pattern in the air.
Listening to both Charl and Charlotte, Atticus said nothing in return, he knew that it would be pointless to say anything. Taking the potion into his hands, Atticus turned to see the kitsune pressing a button on her speaker and telling the one inside the house that Charlotte was outside. Sighing, Atticus had no choice but to go along with Charlotte's plan. Suddenly, the girl with the guns would erupt from the house and rain down a hail of bullets a the three, of course the bullets had no effect on Atticus, but Charlotte would be in trouble. Thinking quickly, Atticus rushed towards Charlotte, intending to shield her with his body, but just as he went to move, the kitsune would move as well, until the two were right in front of one another. As she unleashed a barrage of strikes his way, Atticus managed to keep up with them. When she tried to strike his neck, he would lean back, avoiding it, next was the following slash that was aimed for his torso. To combat this, Atticus used his cybernetic arm as a shield of sorts, to stop it from hitting him. His arm would be damaged greatly because of this, but not as much. The last strike would be easier to handle as he simply leaned in to the left, both avoiding the strike as well as moving in closer to the kitsune. Appearing next to her left side, Atticus rushed passed her and got to Charlotte. Covering her with his body and taking all the bullets from the girl. As he expected, they did little to no damage to him, but the slash from the kitsune earlier did manage to injure even more. With the potion still in his hand, Atticus thought of drinking it, but before he could a bullet would strike it, destroying and his chances of healing. "Lets make this fight quick."
Charlotte finished her apple while Atticus took the blows from the one girl for her and slipped the glasses on her head over her eyes "Got it." she said with a small smirk. Charl glowed and the doll turned into a staff. The territory shook slightly and gold fire launched at both the Kitsune and the girl.
The girl continued coming downward from the sky, letting loose several grenades as she fell. The grenades landed amongst the three of them and quickly exploded, sending shrapnel in every direction. The kitsune frowned in annoyance as pieces of shrapnel bounced off of her. She glanced over at the girl as she landed next to her. "Stop throwing grenades around me," she told her in a dry tone. "Soz!" The girl replied. "What...?""Sooowwy.""It's "I'm sorry," idiot.""Who's idiot and why are you apologizing to him? Heeheeheehee!" The kitsune shook her head in aggravation before Charlotte suddenly launched gold flames at the both of them. The girl didn't move, ignoring the flames as they covered her. The kitsune was forced to throw herself to the side and even though Charlotte's flames didn't hit her directly, the still left burns on her skin just by being too close. The girl didn't waste any time, rushing towards Charlotte and making several quick strikes towards her body before taking a two quick steps backwards and blasting away with her machine gun. Meanwhile the kitsune got quickly to her feet and flashed into a fiery lightening bolt, reforming right in front of Atticus and making two quick jabs with her blade towards his chest before spinning around in a full circle and attempting to slash him across the stomach.
As the shrapnel from the grenades flew towards them, Atticus continued to stand in front of Charlotte, protecting her from the metal. Just with the bullets, the shrapnel did little damage to him. After a moment or two, the two women would launch their attacks simultaneously, the girl aiming at Charlotte and the kitsune, coming towards him. Thinking quickly, Atticus pushed Charlotte out of the way of the girls punches and her machine gun, taking all of them with no hesitation. At that moment, the kitsune would appear in front of him and attempted to strike him twice in the chest. Stepping to the side, Atticus avoided the first jab but couldn't avoid the second, as it pierced him in his arm. Not having enough time to react to the pain, Atticus jumped backed, just barely avoiding her third strike. "You're good." he told the kitsune, though if he had been at 100% the battle may have been different. Reaching over, Atticus would grab his bleeding arm, "As I am now, I don't think I will be able to last a little over an hour, but I figure you already know that." he told while looking towards Charlotte, "You are currently the head of the DWMA and DMA, you can't afford to die. Your life is more valuable." He then looked back at the kitsune, "As that is the case and I'm sure you would not want the entirety of the DWMA and DMA, chasing after you for the death of their leader. Something tells me that, that would be very troublesome for you, especially with all of the powerful people that they have. So, lets make a deal, spare Charlotte and allow her to leave and in return you can have me."
Charlotte quickly moved out of the way of the strikes but then saw the girl fire at her. A wall of earth roared upward from Charlotte's territory and acted as a shield against the bullets. She heard Atticus then and glared at him "Atticus! No! This has already happened before! Don't!" she snapped at him.
Hearing Charlotte, Atticus smiled and looked towards her, "Sorry, but at this point, there little more that I can do." he told her. "Seriously Charlotte, you're always telling me to think more and stop being so reckless, but now you're the one that's being reckless. You can't risk the safety and stability of the city just for one little broken boy." he added. "You are the leader of Death City, you are needed to lead. There is no one else who can do it, not Shira, not yet. So, if giving up my life is the price for securing yours, then I will gladly do that."
The kitsune cocked her head to the side slightly. "Surrender?" She asked, slightly surprised. The girl seemed more focused on Charlotte, looking at her like she was something to eat. The kitsune thought for a moment and then gave a light smirk. "Fine," she replied simply. "Turn around and get on your knees."
"Do you really think that I am that foolish?" he asked as he looked towards the girl with the machine guns and then back at Charlotte, "I'm not going to do anything until I see Charlotte leave, with me own eyes. Afterwards, you can do whatever you want to me." Atticus told the kitsune. He may be surrendering, but that doesn't mean he can be fooled so easily. He was still a warrior after all.
The kitsune laughed as she heard Atticus. "Fair enough. We're going to kill her no matter what. You don't exactly have a lot of room to negotiate." She looked towards the girl and then jerked her head towards Charlotte. The girl didn't need any more persuasion. In an explosion of movement she rushed forward, ducking under Atticus with her smaller stature and spinning around to face Charlotte, her blade already whirling around in an attempt to slash her. Regardless of whether or not it landed, the girl would follow immediately with a spin-kick aimed towards Charlotte's face before pulling the pin on one of her grenades and letting it fall to the ground while she lunged backwards firing a stream of bullets.
Meanwhile, the kitsune rushed forward in a blast of electricity and fire reappearing just within arms-reach of Atticus, her sword already pulled back before she thrust it forward in an attempt to impale the Demon Weapon. Whether or not it landed, she would quickly pull it back and spin around again, slashing towards Atticus with a second strike.
Charlotte saw the girl come at her then. She jumped backwards, barely dodging both the slash and the kick. She heard the sound of the pin being pulled from the grenade and slammed her staff into the ground. A huge pillar of earth launched beneath her feet to get her away from the explosion. Next were the bullets. She jumped off the pillar then, more appearing to act as a barrier before the pillars crumbled into shards of earth and launched at the girl from all directions.
Sighing, Atticus pretty much expected that the kitsune would not be a woman of her words, she was nothing more than puppet. Watching as he signaled for the other girl to attack Charlotte, Atticus seemed to be smiling, even as the kitsune came charging at him, he did not move and let the woman impale him in the abdomen and let the second strike hit him in his left arm, both strike were painful and caused serious damage to him. Spitting up blood, Atticus still smiled, as he continued standing despite the seriousness of his injuries. "As a back up measure, I've set my arm to explode in one minute, and its power is more than enough to wipe out this entire dimension, considering that you are specifically made to combat demon weapons and that other one is made for witches. How much damage do you think you will receive from a bomb made by humans?" Of course in exchange for using it, Atticus would be destroyed. "Charlotte, you should leave now." he shouted as he didn't seem to be bluffing.
The kitsune's eyes widened as she heard Atticus. "Crap!" She yelled. With barely a pause she spun around, raising her sword up in the air before bringing it down with a quick stroke, separating Atticus's arm from his shoulder. The sword sliced through him like a knife through hot butter, not even slowing down. Without stopping her movement she brought her sword around again and slammed the pommel of her sword into Atticus's face, knocking him unconscious in one swift blow. "This realm can go to Hell for all I care. But we need to get out of here." The girl blinked and looked at the kitsune. "But whatabout the witch!? I'm supposed to kill her right??" The kitsune shook her head. "That's your problem. But you're not going to do it before this place explodes. She's wounded and her realm along with a huge chunk of her power is about to go up in flames. She'll be wounded and on the run with no place to hide. Even her daughter's realm should be a wasteland by now." The girl let out a big sigh, not seeming to be the least bit bothered by the fact that the entire realm was minutes away from getting destroyed. "Fiiiine. I'll just finish her off later. If she doesn't curl up in a corner and die or something." The kitsune didn't even seem to be listening. She turned a dial on her radio device and electricity began to crackle in the air. After several moments a portal slowly ripped open. "Let's go.""Okey-dokie lokie!" The kitsune grabbed Atticus and hefted him over her shoulder before leaping through the portal. The girl looked back at Charlotte giving her a big smile and a wave. "Catchya later! For real! I will!" She giggled before stepping backwards into the portal before it slowly closed behind her.
