At the chime of indecision, Riyo looked back towards Mitsu. Oh. She knew what was wrong. It was hard to not know what was wrong if you had spoken to the lycan more than once and watched her mannerisms.
"Mitsu." The feline started quietly, one hand reaching out to touch the ghoul's shoulder while the other stayed glued over her nose. "I know you've been doing your best to do what you think is right for the group... But right now, there has never been a more important time to do what's right for you. And... I'm sure that no matter what you choose, It'll be the right thing." The demoness couldn't really sympathize with Mitsu's plight. She had always been centered to think what was best for her first and other's second... But tossing out a small tidbit of advice was the best she could do right now.

Looking around the room, Shun noticed that... the pumpkin was gone. Furrowing his brow, he tried to see where it was but found no trace of it. Not even smashed orange bits. Was he seeing things earlier? Perhaps it was a trick of his mind. In which... what was his subconscious trying to do or say to him in that case?
Hearing Mitsu, his gaze fell back onto her as she started to give her decision, but fell silent. Seeing her with the mask back on right now was also bothering him. She was fine without it around them and she had even stood up to the horsemen with it off. Something had to have caused her to put it back on. Grimacing, he stepped closer to her, pausing momentarily to shoot a glance towards Mot. Was there anything between them?
He didn't know. It was all just too confusing to him. It caused pain too.
"The mask.. doesn't quite suit you right now," he said quietly while reaching up to try and remove it. He paused as he heard Riyo chime in with some advice.
"She's right."
To be honest, he would not blame her if she wanted to hang back. While he wanted her close, this wasn't about what he wanted. She could stay back. She could be with someone else.

As Shun stepped closer Mitsu took on a more submissive look. It was true, she had done...surprisingly well without her mask throughout the trip, everything going on had taken her mind off that fact that she hadn't had it on. But at the moment she felt like she needed it.
The lycan froze as Shun stepped up to her, hands coming up to stop the mask from being removed. She managed to grip it as Shun pulled it a few inches from her face, keeping it hovering there. The tears that stained her cheeks were still obvious though as she looked up at the reaper. "I..."
Looking up at the reaper Mitsu's mind continued to work. Was she really considering abandoning his side because she felt hurt? It was...such a petty decision. She wasn't certain if she truly wanted to perform but what she did know was that she didn't want to be separated. Riyo's words lingered in her mind too. Do something for herself. What did she want? ....the answer was painfully simple, she wanted to be with Shun.
Finally Mitsu released her hold on the mask allowing Shun to take it from her, quiet gaze turning back to the statues. "I would be the one performing.."

As he was stopped, Shun looked down at the hand grabbing the mask, keeping him from moving it any further. He didn't try to pull it away, but he felt a sense of confusion as to why she was stopping him. The thoughts that he had been wrong all along inched through his mind. The Reaper had just been about to let go, but she did so first, allowing him to remove the mask completely.
A sense of surprise hit him twice. Once for seeing the tear stains on her cheeks. And once more to hear her answer. While he felt a small sense of comfort that she'd still be nearby, the reason for her tears concerned and confused him.
"Mitsu... what's wrong? You.. don't have to go if you don't want to."
He was oblivious to the fact that him turning away to withdraw into himself had actually hurt her. Though, he got that because he did such a thing, he missed whatever happened to her that caused this, and that made him feel a little sick inside.
Tentatively, his hand raised up to wipe the tears from her face. No longer did he know if he was right or wrong with his thoughts.

Hel mulled over the rest of her thoughts in silence as her fingers twiddled with the flowers, but she was broken out of them by the statues. When did those…? Ah well, not like it mattered. After all of the stuff happening in the house so far, this really couldn’t come as a surprise. As her team mates moved to stand and go over to the statues, the valkyrie did as well, and picked up the flowers she was given and tucked them into her pockets. Not exactly the best way to keep them but…it would have to do.
She made her way over to them and rested her hands on her hips as she listened to their words. One more trial huh? Was that the reward for making it past room five? Now…a choice to make as individuals…though as soon as Hel heard the question, she snorted softly, and that was only because she already knew the answer to that. It seemed that her sentiment echoed a lot of her team mates as well. “I'd rather be the one performing.” That was easy, hands down. That kind of question didn’t even require a second thought. Hel was very much a go-getter, and subscribed to the belief that if you weren’t going to make something happen, than who would?
The reaper quietly watched as Mitsu seemed to hesitate, and as Shun and Riyo tried to reason her through it. She had nothing further to add to it…as they both pretty much nailed it on the head, so her gaze shifted back to the two doors. One last trial…what would it be?

Nervously her gaze shifted back to Shun, chewing on her bottom lip as she tried to decide what to say. She shifted a glance to Riyo for a moment, nodding her head in thanks for the advice before she tried to focus on her storming thoughts. "I....felt like I had done something wrong," Mitsu admitted softly. "Y...you turned away from me." It was such a cold feeling having someone turn their back on you, especially when it was someone you cared for. True it wasn't an extreme sense of the word, but the meaning of his gesture was still there.
With a sigh she wiped at her face to clear it of the tears before she finally pushed herself back to her feet. "I...don't know if the room I choose is the one I want to be in but..." She looked up at Shun, her crimson eyes focusing on his dark brown ones. "I made a promise and I want to stick by your side. That's what I want." It was the decision she had made for herself, not a choice on rooms but who she was willing to stick with until the very end. They had come this far together, all of them, it would be a shame to split up now.

Mot was worried for Mitsu's well being, but having the group stick together seemed ideal. They had their problems, big ones. But when it mattered, they did the right thing.
"Awww I've got the warm fuzzies guys." Mot called out in a cheery tone. "All of us will put on one Hell of a show, right?" He crossed his arms on top of Hel's head, leaning his head down on top with a big goofy grin.

Shun's hand paused, hovering just over the side of her face as she answered him. That was what this was about. There was a cold sensation he felt within as he realized he had made her cry. Slowly, his hand dropped as he looked towards the ground.
"You did nothing wrong. I.. was being selfish.." he uttered quietly, "I thought you and Mot..."
A whirlwind of thoughts and emotions raged on in his mind, keeping him from finishing that sentence. Closing his eyes as the confusion hit him hard, he just slowly shook his head.
"It.. it doesn't matter.. I'm sorry."
As she mentioned she wanted to be by his side. he looked back to meet her eyes. She wanted to be by him. Everything that happened seemed to switch his mind back and forth on whether he was right or not.
Glancing back towards Mot, he realized that Hel also chose to be a 'performer'. It looked like their team was sticking together on this one. It was a nice change, compared to the mess that was happening earlier. Perhaps they'd manage to pull through. And so, he nodded quietly to the cowboy.

Hel glanced over at Mitsu again, as the Lycan seemed to come to a decision, and couldn’t help but smile briefly. Good for her. She was pleased to see the ghoul set her mind to something and see it through.
The reaper gave a small snort as Mot proclaimed to have the fuzzies and scowled lightly when he said ‘one Hell of a show’. The scowl vanished though as she felt the weight of his arms crossing over her head, followed by his head as well. Huh! Hel blinked, her cheeks dusting red ever so slightly as she held still. After a moment she made a small sound of amusement. “…Of course.” She piped up after a moment. “We’ll leave our audience awestruck, but take the bow for our standing ovation.”

And that was when Riyo realized just how lovey dovey the atmosphere had gotten. Everybody was back to being sweet to each other, and the cat ghoul was back to being disgusted by it. "Augh. Get a room you guys." She sighed and looked away... Then thought about what she said.
"A different room."

Mot smirked. "Aww~ Riyo feels left out!" Mot teased with that big goofy grin still plastered on his face. He liked having everyone happy again. He wasn't about to let Riyo's teasing put him down.
"Hey, hey! Unplug your nose, then you'll feel right as rain." He giggled, thinking himself a funny guy just then.

Riyo's eyes narrowed on Mot as he spoke up with that grin plastered on his face. Left out? "Don't even pretend to pity me, Mot. I don't like being talked down to... Especially considering we're almost the same height." The ghoul snapped, his final giggly comment making things worse.
"You know what?" With a flick of the wrist, her hand moved and the ghoul took in a big breath, letting it out ever so slowly. Morals be damned if Hel already had pictures of her. Besides, it was time for revenge.
The cat demon's eyes dilated in an almost creepy way once again, a large, cheshire grin capturing her face. Her soulless gaze seemed focused on the cowboil.
"Mot." The ghoul hissed, trotting over to the boil and standing on her toes to lean over his shoulder. "You will never stop seeing me in your nightmares, Mot. Whenever you're traversing that dark, desolate road to the deepest parts of your subconscious, you'll feel a gaze searing through your flesh, and when you turn around... All you'll see is my face."

"My bad, Riyo! I was only..."
Wait, Riyo was actually going to---
Oh crap. He had not foreseen this at all. Worse off, the high as a kite counterpart had her sights set on him.
Mot's grin turned to a thin line, to a frown, then simply horror filled.
"I can't take it back, can I?" Mot asked nervously, pinching the ghoul's nose with a thumb and forefinger.

"Take it back?" She asked in a nasally voice after the boil pinched her nostril's shut, her hands reaching up to do the same thing to him.
"Haha! Oh, now that's silly." The ghoul cooed. "If regret could turn back the hands of time, then I wouldn't be here." There were many implications in that statement, but it didn't look like she would clarify.
"Mooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot." Riyo whispered, her voice still odd without the use of her nose. "Have you ever looked into the eyes of insanity and seen your own reflectionnnn?~"

What have I done...
Mot squeezed his eyes closed as Riyo pinched his nose in return, but didn't let go of hers yet.
"Nope." He answered, his voice now sporting the same nasal'd tone thanks to Riyo. "Can't say I have." This was Mot's punishment for teasing Riyo. He would just have to deal with it.
