Still in Gear Second, Luffy would have easily been able to dodge Hadlar's aerial attack with a single rapid push-off from the ground. Yet because the reptile man had a hold of his feet and was already more than halfway descended, the rubber boy was struck with thick claws across his lower stomach. Luffy did not at all expect that Hadlar would have taken the spear attack so lightly. It was an attack that the captain had executed in an attempt to block Hadlar completely as well as send him flying.
Gritting his teeth, Luffy couldn't help but wail slightly from the agony of the sharp puncture wounds. Since Hadlar was directly on top of him, the rubber captain had a clear shot towards the reptile's head. Quickly grabbing his rival's green lower jaw, Luffy stretched back his head and then snapped it forward, at the very last second adding an Armament plate on his forehead to intensify the blow if his headbutting were to make contact with his opponent as he had planned.

As the dirt which Sigrin had kicked up cleared he stood dusting off his suit with several brushes from the side of his hand. "I will take your words as a complement." He said in a low tone, despite saber's impaired hearing Sigrin, though aware of the temporary affect, kept his voice at the same tone which he normally spoke in. "I suppose you present yourself a worthy opponent as well. However.." He paused for a moment placing his cane infront of himself as he leaned on it "I've simply been testing the waters, so to speak." He peered over at the young lady before him "Perhaps with more training and time you will come to be an equal in strength. Do not mistake my words however, I do not underestimate you." He began "When you have lived as long as I have you have witnessed the price arrogance costs one's self. One's mind is their greatest weapon and in my mind, on these waters, and on the shores of this world, everyone is a threat worthy of your upmost concern."
Taking his cane he pointed the base of it forward and jetted it forward in rapid succession with each joust, launching sigan air bullets forward from the tip of his cane aiming each one precisely at Saberie's hands and feet at a speed similar to that of Luffy's gattling punches. Each shot meant to temporarily disable the young Cooper not to maim or permanently hurt her if they did make contact.

The same could not be said for Hadlar as he dug his claws into Luffy's torso, the Lizardman leaned his face down close to Luffy's and let out a roar in the rubber captain's face. A bad call on Hadlar's part in retrospect as Luffy grabbed Hadlar's jaw and slammed his forehead into the top of Hadlar's head as he closed his mouth at the end of the roar. With the added impact caused by the Armament infused forehead Hadlar was flipped backwards a few feet away from Luffy.
After hitting the ground Hadlar pushed himself back up, shaking his head like a wet dog to literally shake off the pain as he tried to get his wits about him before Luffy unleashed his next attack on him.

Flinging himself up into a crouched position as soon as he headbutted Hadlar off of him, Luffy took the time to catch his breath. He panted slowly, one arm pressed across his lower stomach to suppress the flow of blood from his puncture wounds. It was easy to see that Hadlar had more fight in him. Luffy was ready, too. But something in him made the rubber captain relax slightly, sinking to sit on his knees and slow his breathing. The pain from the fight seemed to bring Luffy back into a calm reality, and he dropped his clenched fists at his sides. What could he possibly accomplish by pounding the crap out of Hadlar, his ally and teammate in the journey to get his crew back? The comment about Ace had infuriated him, yes, but that comment didn't make Hadlar worth defeating. To win the fight, Luffy knew he didn't have to knock out the reptile man. He felt that he had already won by simply refusing to strike any more. Fighting Hadlar wouldn't bring Ace back. Luffy had to be at peace with himself on that issue, especially since Hadlar was not an enemy. What was really important was what was going on now, and freeing the slaves really did mean a lot to the straw hatted captain.
"Hadlar," Luffy breathed, looking at the sandy ground as his straw hat covered his eyes. "I'm not gonna fight you anymore. I don't care if you think I need to learn any kinda lesson. I'm done." Unintentionally, Luffy sent out a translucent wave of Haki throughout the arena, making any weak person faint or shiver at the very least.

right lemme try this- )
Things seemed to go rather fast, at least for Natsuin. She didn't end up doing too much, just standing by and whatnot, but finally things seemed to be... kicking off. Gripping her katana, she stood there, on guard, waiting. Nat didn't want to charge in to a fight only to get absolutely a** stomped.

"If you're really going to fight us just for money, child, then I will treat you just the same as an adult opponent: No bars held." Chopper transformed into his heavy point. "Let's go."
Saberie really couldn't make out what Sigrin was saying, and, infact, was not even aware he was talking to her. All she saw was that he had briefly paused. She took that opportunity and charged into him, head first, into his gut, her large horns intending to gut him; if not, she could still wrap her arms around him and hold him in place.

"I still love you guys!" Andell says with a smile, seemingly unaffected by the reindeer's challenge to him "Its just how we survive! Yokuta and me got bored of being bandits and pirates so we took these jobs!" He said opening his arm wide "Aww~ Com'ere and get a hug you lovable, size changing, hat-wearing, jackalope~!"

"Such direct and predictable tactics though.." He begins again, "Tekkai" he says as his body hardens once again as she drover herself head first towards his stomach he allowed her to wrap her arms around him in an attempt to hold him in place but the moment she locked onto him he uttered a familiar but for Saberie, unheard word "Geppou" and he began kicking off the air below he carries the semi-giant Saberie and himself into the air above the arena "I must say, it is quite a shame Batolomew did not send you to me for two years, I could have by far taught you to better harness your skills, to use strategy over your opponent rather then to lash out recklessly." His voice this time louder to be heard over his piston-like kicks and Saberie's ringing ears as they climbed higher still into the air.
Most interestingly though from Saberie and Sigrin's point of view at such a high altitude something strange could be seen in the ocean near by, a shadow of something massive underwater moving in towards Isla Saurna, and from it's trajectory it seemed to be heading straight for the equally large dry dock which the crew members who weren't captive by Sigrin saw on their way too the cave and on the way back.

Hadlar was in a rage fueled blood lust it seemed, he was almost completely drowning out Luffy's words to him it would seem until he finally spoke up "You don't want to fight me then get off my island!" he shouted through his sharp teeth "I will kill the rest of these mammals, that celestial dragon, kill his guards, free the slaves and send them away as well!.. and I will do it all myself.." Hadlar's eyes seemed nearly glazed over in rage, he didn't want to fight, it was obvious or in what he said he would have attacked Luffy again while he was open. However, Hadlar was tired of feeling betrayed and alone, and in his assumption of what Luffy was implying earlier he had no reason not to.
Hadlar continued to stand his ground as Luffy's wave of haki swept through the arena, it knocked out all but the farthest spectators who continued to cheer for these battles up until then, their cheered slowed to a halt as they realized rows of seats ahead of them every other rich slave owner began losing consciousness.
Hadlar on the other hand flew into another rage, looking back to see that it was indeed Luffy's haki he began to think Luffy was biding time to try and knock him out "Do you think my will is so weak you can knock me out like those jack a** slave drivers in the stands!?" he yelled demanding an answer from the captain.

"You're an insane," Chopper replied, crouching down, then leaping at the boy, in an attempt to pin him down. He didn't want to fight the child; and he'd do anything to avoid any physical attack on him. Perhaps he could pin him down and inject him with an anesthetic from his backpack...
Saberie did manage to hear grinned, her tusks protruding from her mouth. "I doubt you could have taught me much." She said. "Especially since someone as dumb as me was able to get you right where I wanted you." With that, she called out her attack "ONI HELL-POWER: FIRE!" And just like that, both she and Sigrin were set fully ablaze in a burning inferno. Surrounding them, was a fiery tornado. If Sigrin was affected by this in anyway, Saberie would be able to turn him upside down, head first, and piledrive him into the solid ground hundreds of feet below.
Before she did this, however, she noticed the large shadow making its way to the docks. She'd have to tell Luffy this once she was on the ground.

Andell stood with a smile as Chopper approached him, his arms still open wide he quickly leapt off the ground, a small black bomb sitting stationary on the ground where Andell had been standing, the fuse nearly at it's end as Chopper neared it. Using his hands to grab chopper's shoulders and assisting him as he flipped over the deer-man he proceeded to kick off Chopper's back, using the force to make sure he was even closer to the bomb as he flipped away in the opposite direction.

"erk..." Fire was not expected from a member of the straw hat crew who had no recorded devilfruit powers, it was defiantly a surprise to the Mammoth but nothing he had not dealt with before, he was turned upside down by the oni girl and together they began to plummet back towards the ground "Seimei Kikan: Kami-e Bushin" The man's body began to become slender and with a quick "soru" he vanished leaving the fire breather to plummet back to the ground to break her own fall.
Reappearing on the ground after Saberie, even faster then he had been able to move before, Sigrin stands, dusting his suit of the char marks which the flames had left "Despite the damage done to my suit, you have my gratitude for your magnanimous contribution to my files on your capabilities, fire is certainly unexpected from a non devilfruit user." The oddly shaped thin mammoth said as he stood before her, his body similarly resembling Kaku of the CP-9's body with a shorter neck, tusks, and a trunk.

Franky meanwhile was not doing so good, Yokuta had his arms restrained and there wasn't much he could do about the second pair of arms repeatedly punching him in his torso, other then rely on the metal under his skin to absorb as much damage as it could.
Franky took a deep inhale "Fresh Fi-"
Yokuta's still buzzing wings picked up speed as he let go of the cyborg's hands and flew up.
Franky stumbled forward coughing out a slight flame as he tried to maintain his balance, the forward force he had been exerting to keep Yokuta from overpowering him had also caused him to become tripped up.
Franky turned around to see where Yokuta had gone, however only spots the young Natsuin standing in the distance "Hey kid, get over here and gimme a hand!" He said to here, still looking around for the beetle man, finally spotting him flying just over head preparing to dive bomb the cyborg at any moment.

Natsuin blinked, hear the Shipwright calling to her. Resisting the urge to whine about the fact she wasn't a kid by telling herself it was more of a compliment which then twisted in her head once more, she rushed over, "R-Right!" Reaching the other, Nat looked to the air, spotting Yokuta flying, "I-I can't reach him with my k-katana... b-but..." Taking a deep breath, she then let out a sound wave from her mouth, aiming at Yokuta.

Chopper was staring straight at the bomb, his face just inches away from it. Before it went off, the reindeer transformed into larger horn point, scooped the bomb up with his antlers, and flung it backwards, managing to send it a few feet away from him before it exploded.
"You must not know much about Oni mythology, then," she said loudly with a smirk, rubbing her bottom where she had landed; it didn't seem to affect her much at all. She stood up, and watched the old man transform with mild interest. "Hn, I see you have a few more tricks up your sleeve as well," she said, picking her nose. Since he could use that haki of his to teleport, she figured it would be better if she let him come to her so she could strike. "Alright then, come at me."

Brook stood there mindlessly as he watched the multiple battles go on. His blank face with a hint of surprise moved back and forth amongst everyone. He wasn't quite clear on what should be done. His jaw bone afloat from the rest of his face, falling towards the ground."ahhh, such a tragedy" He said loud enough for anyone close to him to hear. " i haven't seen a single pair of panties today, so horrible." His unusual laugh echoed the arena as he firmly gripped his cane and began to draw his shikomizue, a thick cold mist lifted from the sheath of the blade and began to flood around the ground of the arena near him before mixing in with the rest of the atmosphere. Taking three light steps forward with the blade vertical in front of his face. " I guess its time to get serious". Brook had his sights set, he dashed forward towards Andell who hadn't landed from his previous attack. With great form, brook stood directly in front of the child and slashed horizontally from ground to sky.

With an air of nearly foreboding calmness, Luffy rose to his feet and walked over to where his shirt had fallen off. He bend his torso over and retrieved it, dusting it off before tying the red clothing around his waist yet again to stop his bleeding. Although he was listening to Hadlar, the captain gave no sign that he heard him initially. Luffy just stood there, absorbing the insults and plowing commands.
When the lizard man was finally finished spewing his rage, for the moment at least, the rubber captain tipped his straw hat up so that he could look Hadlar in the eye.
"I'm not trying to knock you out. I had solved something in my mind, and I guess that released something. But that doesn't matter. You're still standing, so you don't hafta complain about it."

Andell, while flipping through the air revealed his next ability his Devil fruit provided him "Bang! Hahahaha!" He laughed, trying to imitate his bomb when suddenly the fuse sucked itself down into the bomb as Chopper tried to hurl it backwards, causing it to Detonate just above him.
The resulting dust cloud created by it swept over Andell as the skeleton man attempted to strike him when he landed, Andell caught brook's approach from the corner of his eye as he neared him, with his own soru which he had demonstrated during the cawchap encounters he vanished as the smoke covered him, another bomb left in his place, to be concealed in his stead, and for Brook to soon discover"

Yokuta was shaken by Natsuin sound wave while attempting to dive bomb Franky with his golden horns to deliver a crushing blow. The jarring to his trajectory caused his course to shift towards the bare ground to the right of Franky. Thinking quickly in an attempt to recover he tried to pull up, afterwards he tucked his wings back under his shell and rolled forwards as he slowly descended back to the ground now in a summersault motion, landing with his right upper fist slamming in to the ground.
Even with his beetle-like helmet created by his devil fruit form he turned to see Natsuin was the one to knock him from his attack.
However upon turning Yokuta was met with a "Strong Right!" to the side of his head as Franky announced his attack just before impact. The cyborg sent the beetle-man flying forwards, to slam into the gate which Pizzaro had entered the arena through earlier.
Franky turned to Natsuin "Super shot kid!" he praised as he turned his focus back to Yokuta, "Now lets show this guy what happens when you try to separate nakama!"

"Locating information from the Void era tends to take up most of one's time." he stated as he stood, facing Saberie down "Rankyaku" he stated once again using a simple basic roukushiki technique. With a swift kick of his leg a razor sharp crescent air blade flew forward at great speed towards the cooper. "I have many "Surprises" whether you will see any is yet to be known." Bringing his leg in an upward kick he produces another Rankyaku air blade at a much faster speed, it quickly catches up with his previous one.
Cutting through the first air blade the second soars at Saberie, while the first has now become two air blades, with unstable paths causing them to spin like drills as the proceed forward on their deadly path.

"Luffy.." He began with a snarl, his teeth showing as though he where about to lash out and try to kill the captain where he stood "I'm tired of fighting.." He admitted "I'm tired of dealing with the scum of this earth and I'm done pitting my anger on the only people who have done anything to help." He seemed to be calming down, unwilling to fight Luffy any further

Though very faint the ground beneath everybody in the stadium began to shake, with the battle which was raging between the Pirates, Mercenaries, and their Employer it could easily be mistaken as after shock from each of their powerful attacks. However, this shaking only seemed to grow more and more fierce my the second, almost as though something where pushing against the mountain.

(think it was called 'The Void Era' but dark era still sounds good to me -ooc)
Surprised it had actually helped out, she couldn't help but smile to herself, turning to look to where Yokuta had been punched, "Hehe~ A-Alright!" Cautiously, she started to approach Yokuta, katana held in front of her in case he tried to strike, "I-I doubt that would have knocked him o-out..."
