Stephanie heard the saw, and immediately began to struggle in her restraints. She knew what was a bout to happen next. It had happened enough times for her to know what happened. But fortunately...the saw never made contact with her skin. In fact...it stopped.
She laid there, her chest heaving and her hands shaking as she waited in the darkness for what happened next.

Rosie kept her arms wrapped around Joker, and kept her eyes on Batman. She kept her doll facing him, just in case she needed to pull a "Babydoll" on Batman.

.... the look on his face, she wasn't sure she wanted to though. And she didn't know how much she liked the thought of Tink getting left to the gas.

As Yuriko left, Harley gathered her belongings to head out herself. She sighed a bit as she walked into the bathroom to check up on her makeup. She hadn't returned home that night, and she wasn't quite sure how her little group had fared without her. Or how they were going to react when she did come back home.

Oh...especially with sight of her face. Good thing she had walked in to check up on it. Might as well just wash it off than explain why it looked like she had gotten into a fight with a set of lips.

"Are you sure this is it?" Vice asked, looking down at the little girl in red and black beside him.

"I think so. The lab place had all kinds of tunnels and cameras. I'm pretty sure this is one of Joker's escape routs from his little super base. Can you believe he actually has one of those? What happened to the amusement parks and toy factories?" the little Rosie replied. Her tone almost disappointed.

".....um. Right. Well now what should I do with you." Vice said to himself.

The girl blinked and looked up at him. "What do you mean?" she asked.

"Well...I can't just leave you out here. Especially not if you were in some laboratory before hand." Vice replied.

Rosie just blinked up at him. Then, very slowly, a smile crept along her face. A rather creepy little expression. "Oh. Don't worry about me..." she replied in a low purr. "You're the one who has to worry about not getting hurt."

Gossamer was no longer standing on the rooftop. After finally working her nerve up to go inside, Gossamer had drifted into her mist form. The barely visible mist made its way from the rooftop, and down to the building to try and find a crack to try and slip through. She found an area around the door that wasn't air tight, and made her way into the soon to be war zone.

C.J. smiled as he looked around. "I agree, hon. Let's just get to safety before anything else goes wacky tonight." he said with a shy smile. At last, kid. You lost the crazy bastards, got some free time, whatcha gonna do now?

"Forget Disneyland. I just want a beer and a nap!"

Fair 'nuff.

C.J. smiled as he put his arm around Misty. "Just relax, darlin'. I'll make sure they don't getcha." he said, a little relaxed tone in his voice. It'd be a hard promise to keep, but he was gonna do his best.

Hey, wouldn't it be interesting if good ol' Mxyzptlk happened to show up?

"You wouldn't dare."

YO! Oncaro!! BATTER UP!!!

"You sonuva . . . !"

C.J. smiled back, blushing a little bit as he held on to her, as their . . . "converted" convertible rode around Gotham. "Aw shucks . . . thanks, hon. But believe me, you're a hell of a lot cuter." he said, relaxing a little bit. The way that he fell for her was almost like he was melting right there in her arms.

C.J. smiled as he held her close, kissing her in return. "You're welcome, hon." he said softly as Antigua looked back and smiled.

Ah, young love. Gotta say, kid . . . I'm impressed!

"Thanks! Just really surprised something hasn't come up yet. Kinda grateful for it, though."

Yeah, you say that NOW.

Around that time that C.J. and Misty were in their tender lovers' embrace, another car was parked up on a hill. It was Smitty and Bozo, those two mobsters who were usually after Arell and Dundee! Just what were they DOING up there?

"You introduced 'em, I assume they want US."

Okay, we'll go with that.

When Smitty saw the car, the engine turned over and the two mobsters started to tail the beat up taxi . . . . for reasons unknown . . . YET.

C.J. noted there was a car behind them, but it was far enough away for him not to have it be a hazard. Holding Misty in his arms, he was just about to nod off to sleep when . . .

From the other car, Smitty had his head out the window, pulling a gun on the car! Aiming for the tires, he let loose a volley of shots.

BANG! BANG! BANG!!

C.J. looked up, still holding onto Misty.

"Antigua? I really hope that was just the car backfirin'." he growled low. Now where'd he put that box of carpet tacks?!

"No it wasn't, mon! Brace yourselves! I'mma lose 'em!" the Jamaican woman said as she put the moves on it.
