"Two against one," Mordranna calmly told the Sith, even as his dual-blade spun about to block her strike, raising one end and spinning about to face Rekan, the young Sith dancing about. "You must be a Master," the Sith hissed, almost in admiration of Mordranna, not taking his eyes off Rekan. "Perhaps I'll take your blade and your head to my master," While the Sith continued his tirade, Mordranna prodded him, willing him to expose a weakness, pressing her own attack. "It takes much skill to use a double blade, I'll give you that," The hellish red blade continued to whirl, as he then faced Rekan. He's not focused on both of us. That will be his undoing, Mordranna thought. Sure enough, he launched a full, all-out attack against Rekan, the blade whirling to and fro. With that, Mordranna stepped to the acolyte's side as he focused on Rekan, her own blue blade coming down hard on his shoulder. And, with that, the left arm flopped to the floor. "You will find your weapon difficult to control," she calmly stated, as though she were to tell him it was a nice day outside. With a raise of her free hand, she then administered a Force Push. The Sith grunted as he fell into the wall, attempting to control the dual blade with one arm. I suspect he'll tire quickly, she telepathically suggested to Rekan via the Force.

As the Sith struggled, Rekan brought his own blade around in a twirl. "Do you surrender?" he asked, almost bored. When the Sith spat on him, he brought his blade down, as if to strike his head. When the opponent blocked upwards, Rekan twisted his body to bring a hard kick to his face.
The Sith slumped to the floor, and Rekan deactivated and held his dual-sided blade.

The Heroine's Assault, once the Astral Cleric, pulled out of her berth at the Starforge, clad in a brand new coat of bright red paint. Across her nose was painted a scantily clad Red head, who with a wink and a grin was wielding a Blastech SO-19. Canny viewers would reconize the bit of nose art as a bustier pinup of Rain Starwind. The real Rain was not amused, nor in the least bit flattered. Upon the bridge of the Assault, the young woman paced back and forth, glowering with deadly intent at anyone who so much as smirked. "I swear to whatever gods of vengance there are I'm gonna kick the a** of the Di'kut responsible for that."she muttered darkly as she paced. Sitting in the captain's chair with a mischeivous smile that could not be diminished, Cale watched her pace back and forth. "Doaba, Rain. You can't let yourself get worked up over this. You should be flattered someone has such a crush on you that they would paint their fantasy where everyone can see it." Suddenly she was in his face, her expression promising a painful demise. "I know you're behind this, Cale." She said. "I swear I'll get you for this." Cale didn't waver, a humored glint in his eye. "Hey, don't look at me. I was all for nudity." Still angry she backed off and resumed her pacing. Out the viewports the Auric Runner and Dark Horse took up flanking positions along the frigate. Cale watched the woman pace back and forth before chuckling and shifting his postion. "Heh. Its a good day. re-equiped, recrewed, my new ship is dressed to kill, and I managed to get us three squadrons of fighters in a game of chance. Oh by the way, send a message to the rest of the fleet to meet us at Skull Base. And then in four weeks we need to be at Lamaredd to meet back up with the Scar." Rain and the rest of the bridge crew looked up at the captain. "So soon sir? and why are we meeting out at Lameradd?" "The answer is the same for both. I've got something planned. The Databanks of the Heroine gave me an idea. Tell the rest of the fleet to contact every pirate group they can trust and have them meet us out at Lameradd as well." Rain gave cale a skeptical look. "Are you gonna let us in on your scheme sir?" "All in good time. For now, lets swing on down the Hydyian way and see if we can't raid a few KDY supply ships. KDY always has good ship parts." "Um, what about the NHI shipping schedules Sir?" "Screw 'em. The heavy industry stuff aint paying off in the long run. besides, those DSA guys aren't a threat to anyone."

Mordranna smiled approvingly at Rekan as she deactivated her own lightsaber. "A true victory comes without loss of life." With a slight frown, she indicated the severed arm. "Though I'd have prefered that it not to have come to that," And then she pushed the thought aside. "But at least he won't be bothering us anymore." "Now, let's go find Tal,"

Cale's trio of ships floated near the Starforge Yard, sending encoded transmissions to Cale's allies scattered across the galaxy. On the bridge of the Heroine's Assault, Cale took a pull from his flask and watched with a bored expression as his comn officer worked to send his message. "How's it going?" He asked. "Half done sir." The Mon Cal woman told him. "Be glad the Holonet is open to civilians again or this would be taking far longer." "Yeah yeah." Cale muttered. "The b***h is gonna be waiting for the guys to show up at Skull Base. Wonder how they've been doing of late?" "No one familiar in the Sector Ranger's "caught" list last I checked Captain." the Mon Cal said as she worked her control pannel. She gave a sigh as she made a few adjustments. "Captain, next time we pass Mon Cal, can we please pick up a different Comn control display and contol panel?" "Whats wrong with that one?" "Its designed for humans. I'm having trouble working with it." Cale took a pull from his flask. "Welcome to the post-Empire Galaxy, sweetheart. When the dominating race of the galaxy is human, guess who all the gadgets are desinged to work for? you'll have to tough it out until we find better, because theres no way in hell I'm going into Dac." "Mon Calamari." She corrected him. "Only when the Quarren aren't listening." He said. "Besides, With a Rep military staryard in orbit and the Republic on high alert, Dac ain't a safe place for pirates. Ackbar would have a field day if he caught us. He'd probably hang me then and there." "Admiral Ackbar wouldn't do that." The woman said in a defensive tone. "Sithspit. Acky would blast every outlaw in the galaxy to space dust if he could. And give one bothan a fur wedgie. Acky's always had a dislike of fringers, and he hates pirates even more. Dac's no dice. Rak's about the tallest guy in the band but I'm not about to go raising ceilings for him." The Mon Cal sighed and got back to work. as she typed she glanced out the viewport and frowned. "Who's ship is that sir?" Cale looked up to see a carrack cruiser move towards the yard. A Carrack with NR markings. Cale shot upright in his seat and turned on his Comn officer. "Damn it!Get everyone to combat stations! Some one sold out the Station again! And I'll be damned if I'm gonna let some Rep navy boy get a chance to mess it up!"

((why let it go to waste? XD just temporarily...))
Rekan hooked the saber to his belt. "Never hurts," he added, as a brief explanation. As an afterthought, "Shall we roll on?"

"Yes. I imagine that Tal is raising some sort of ruckus or another about here." Mordranna replied.

"So, are we gonna train or what?" Trey asked Labrynth.

Labrynth broke from his conversation with Uncas. "Why are you still here? Don't you understand? I'm finished with you. You two have yet to show any lasting desire to make yourself better. No, you have the oppurtunity of a lifetime to prove to the entire universe and galaxy why you should be spared, why the wrongs you committed are atoned for, and you blow it all away. I should just hand you two over to Drako Prime and let him eat you alive. I will not stand by idly to train a pair of children when my efforts could be directed elsewhere. You agreed to be dedicated and work, despite however difficult it would be for you. You chose to take the harder road, instead of a simple mind wipe. Now you find it to your disliking this path, so you choose to quit. I guess the old order was right, You are too old. The saddest part is your mind is that of a child's, unable to commit to anything but foolish pranks and mocking my dead wife. Show me one good reason why I should give a farkled bantha's a**."

Trey shrugged.
"You're loss. I'm perfectly capable of stopping Drako. You may not remember, but I was once a Sith Lord. I have powers beyond your imagination. It's just a matter of when and if I choose to use them. We don't need to take this from you."

" Wait. " Angel said to Trey. " He's a cranky old b*****d, even he has no problem admitting that. But, he does have wisdom you and I combined at this point cannot match. And even though I sometimes act like I feel otherwise, I do respect him for what I've been able to see and learn because of what he's done. " She then turned to Labrynth. " However, if all I learn comes from you, old man, than I have truly learned nothing, for to truly learn something, one must see with their own eyes and experience things themselves. " She then held out her hands, and her dual sabers, greatsaber, and Neb's saber all came into her hands, having fell from the sky. " They say your lightsaber is an extension of yourself. This is true, for I have been reaching for these through the Force the whole time of the trip, calling them back to me with its aid. She put them away and looked the old man in the eyes. " I am sorry about your wife. Had I known, I wouldn't have said what I did. Now, as far as you thinking we are a lost cause, I disagree. We're leaving you now, but I want you to know that I will be parting from you wiser than I was when we met. I've found out 2 vital things thanks to you. 1, your training is never complete. There's always more to learn. 2, if you're visting and old cranky guy named Labrynth, bring something for headaches because he's sure to give you plenty. " she laughed a bit at the end. " You take care now, you old geezer. " She then turned around and started heading towards the ship. " Okay, let's go. "

"You still won't defeat him," Labrynth called back. "At least, without resuming the title of sith lords again. To destroy Drako, you would have to reassume your former titles... at which you no longer have the strength to maintain. Tell me, how do you command the Dark Side if you have been purged of your greatest hatred? I do not know the answer, but perhaps Neb can tell you otherwise. That is, if you know how to contact him. Either way, I shall see you again in nine months, for ill or naught, lest you change your minds."
He almost forgot, then added, "If you truely believe you are capable of defeating the evil, head to Manoon, and seek for Rook. He's been preparing for some time now."

The Carrack light cruiser, following up on a tip as to the station's location, was suprised to find the Starforge where their informant said it was. And if the sight of the Yard was suprising, one can only imagine their reaction as their port bow suddenly turned black. A Torrent of Turbolaser from the Darksun Fleet scorred deep charred marks along the Carrak's side, then began striking an energy shield. Quickly the Carrack turned about to engage Cale's three ships, looking forward to sinking a few pirate vessels. Just as the Carrack maneuvered itself to engage, the Auric Runner and the Dark Horse Broke formation and veered off in separate directions. The Carrack wasn't equiped with flak lasers, it was equipped with Ion cannons. It fired its guns in futility as the nimble CEC craft flanked around it and raked its sides with turbo fire. The Smaller craft were only keeping the Cruiser from focusing its shields against the massive rain of energy the Heroine's Assault was throwing against them. But with the Carrack's heavy turbos, her captain was confident they could bring the Class 1000 cruiser down. with a salvo from her big guns the Heroine's shield's buckled and became visible for an instant. Right before the second salvo, the Carrack shuddered as a squadron of Y-wings bearing the Station's mark poured Proton torpedoes into her starboard side. As if that wasn't enough, Ga'p'tashi's Bulk cruiser had cleared the Yard's spacedocks and was now sniping the Carrack with one of two dual turbolasers salvaged from a scrapped ISD-1. She was only one of several ships that were pulling out of the docks eager to defend the Station. This was more than the Carrack was prepared for. Her captain was not prepared for the amount of firepower the Pirates of Starforge Station were capable of throwing at them. Her shields faltering under the barrage of energy from all sides, the nimble Carrack hit the thrusters and took to her heals, flitting past the Auric Runner and the Dark Horse as Ga'p'tashi's Cruiser continued to take pot shots at the craft. In another second, the ship had jumped to hyperspace. The Carrack would return with reinforcements. But the Station and every pirate in the area would be long gone when they returned. Just like every other time the station had been found out.

Two hours from Star Forge's last known coordinates, somewhere near Ralltiir, a trio of KDY heavy freighters disapeared without warning.
Meanwhile, Pirate activity in five seperate sectors dropped by thirty percent, an event that puzzled the law enforcement communities of the sectors in question.
In following days, sporadic raiding occured along the Rimma Trade route, Corellian Run, and across several trade ways along the slice. Lone merchant ships began to disapear, Convoys started reporting sudden hit and hype attacks by well armed pirate bands, and two refuling stations were looted clean. KDY and NHI cargoes were the most frequent targets of these raids, though the attacks seemed more or less random on their target selection. All reports indicated a pattern, as though several small raider bands were on the move towards the core. But where the attacks would seem to procced into the Mid Rim, they unexpectantly stopped.
One Day after the attack on Star Forge Station, Cale's personal ships arrived at Skull Base and began to chop the KDY freighters for parts as the pirates awaited their comrades.

Angel went into the Kapella's training room. Instead of practicing her saber or Force skills, she was doing some martial arts moves. She had several objects strewn about that she used to serve various purposes. She delivered several attacks to an object to see how long she keep it airborn, then again to see how many hits she could make before it touched the floor. After that she jumped around on top of things, maintaining her balance and staying off the floor itself. She ran up the wall about halfway then kicked off, kicking off another object and grabbing the very slim outcropping at the top of the doorway, hanging on to it. Bringing her legs up, she kicked off the door and spun backwards, flipping herself once her hands touched the floor and landed perfectly at the other end of the room. " I'm just as agile and dangerous unarmed. Force and lightsabers be damned. " she thought. " ... Then again, help doesn't hurt when you have to fight for real. "
