"See? Imogen is BLIND and she can see that you're jealous!!" El Diablo Loco said, while laughing.
A moment later a different waiter came out with a tray with two cups- one full of water, and the other cup full of whiskey- This one was quite the silent one, all he uttered was a 'Here you go.' then walked off to the back.
Once everyone was quiet, and things had calmed down a little, Diablo gave Jak a small hug, hinting to her that he was sorry for messing with her. While he hugged her, he caught a wiff of her hair 'Mmmmm. . . Different shampoo this time. .'. He smiled and gently patted her shoulder.

As Kat got up to leave she saw Diablo giving a red head a hug at the table. Figures. She thought and rolled her eyes. She left the bar to go and pack.

El Diablo Loco hadn't noticed Kat leaving, as all of his attention was on Jak the entire time. He had felt bad for making her jealous on purpose, but a part of him was actually very glad that he did. Now he knew she cared a little bit about him, and that was enough for him.
Diablo gently disconnected from Jak, as he didn't want to smother her, and then scooted so that there was a tiny bit of space between them again.

Imogen cocked her head a little and then looked straight again. With whatever that was happening it was none of her business. Quite frankly she was too hungry to care if the thief was embarrassed.
She waited for the footsteps of the waiter and then raised her menu to warn him she was done. Once he asked what she would have she laid the menu down.
"My best guess is that you have chicken. So I will have any chicken based meal and a glass of ginger ale." With that she handed him the menu still looking straight ahead.

Looking out at the deck, he could see no sign of dirt anywhere on deck. Juslo rolled up his sleeves and began putting the utensils away.
Juslo returned to the plank and sat down. Juslo then only wondered when he would meet the Great Hans. he was his hero after all. Why not learn a few tricks for the trade. Juslo sighed and stared down at the crowd and watched as someone was pushed over the wall into the water of the wishing well in the middle of the square. Pathetic Drunks! he thought.

Jak chose to ignore both Diablo and Imogen's comments. She picked up her whiskey and sipped it. When Diablo hugged her she sat still still not speaking. She was in no hurry to put her foot any further in her mouth than she already had. 'Lets get this job done so I can go hide in my engine room again,' she thought.

(( Time skip!! We're been in the Tavern long enough! )) The group had left the tavern a couple hours ago to go carry out their mission.
Once to the location they needed to go to, Diablo looked over at Scott and said, "Alright, go talk to the. . whoever you need to talk to- remember, nobody here really likes me." then he let out a 'Hehe' then played around with his gun for a little bit.

Jak, who had calmed down a considerable amount thanks to her whiskey, gave Diablo a weird look. 'I don't even wanna know,' she shock her head. She reached into the folds of her skirt, subconsciously checking that her own pistol was there and loaded just in case she would need it.

El Diablo Loco caught Jak's look, and he said to her, "Don't ask. It's a long story anyway."

Jak smirked darkly, "Don't worry, knowing you I'm pretty sure I don't want to."
Meanwhile, aboard the Dark Revenge.....
Sid stood on the deck of his ship watching Valua slowly approaching them in the distance. His mind was far away thinking back to the last time he had seen his former engineer. 'I wonder how much Jaklyn has changed. I hope she still has that quick hot temper of hers,' he thought with a small smile. His mind went from wondering about the short red head to the job that lay ahead. 'I told myself I wasn't going to take jobs like this anymore. After this I'm not going to taking anymore. Shame this Diablo guy is involved with Jak. I was considering not delivering him to Esqudero, now I fear what I may do to him.'

El Diablo Loco just laughed, he shook his head, "Oh Jak, sometimes I wonder if this is just a front you're putting up, or if you wish you were one of the people I had 'been with'?- Because, you know, there's plenty of room for you, and once I'm with you I'm yours." He flashed her a bright smile, then twirled his gun; Attempting to show off for Jak, but then suddenly dropped the gun on the ground before him. Lucky for him, the safety was on. And now he was pretending he dropped it on purpose.

Jak watched him out of the corner of her eye. She chuckled when he dropped his pistol. "Butter fingers," she stock her tongue out at him. "So clumsy Diablo. You're always preaching about how good you are in bed but I'm not so sure. I mean, you can't even keep hold of your pistol," she teased.

El Diablo Loco bent down on one knee to pick up his gun, but he looked up at Jak while he picked it up, "Just because my weapon slips, doesn't mean I don't know how to make a woman's toes curl. If you'd like, I can demonstrate on you later on," then shot her a wink. After he picked up his gun, he placed it in his holster and then walked over to her. He loved how short she was compared to him. Jak looked so innocent, and so vulnerable. Someone for him to protect when nobody else will.
Diablo smiled at her, "Unless you are too afraid you won't be able to handle me?"

Jak snorted. She squared her shoulders and took a step closer in a 'I'm-not-backing-down' sort of way but managing to make it look like nothing more than being playful. "Baby I know I can handle little ol' you," she put her finger on his chest and gave him a small playful shove. "Trouble is, I don't think that you can handle me. Few guys are man enough." She stepped away and shrugged her shoulders. "Shame."

"Then you must've gotten together with a bunch of women!" El Diablo Loco laughed then pulled her back to him, "Because I am more than man enough for you!" He took a small step back and pulled up his shirt to reveal his abs, "See these?- These don't just come from lifting cannon balls all day, Chica." He smiled brightly at her, "At least give me a chance, eh? Eh?"
