Seiji had missed quite a bit in those moments that the event at the lake climaxed. In a way, he felt like he should have been there to help. But there was no point in thinking about it now. It was all done and over with. With the attack over, the whole school seemed like it was in a bit of a strange atmosphere. Still somewhat tense, but relieved. Though that was to be expected. Seiji glanced to Ranka at the mention of being her boyfriend. She seemed unaffected by the comment, but looked like she was distracted by something else.
So, Sheryl had worked her magic in all this chaos. Hopefully she wouldn't pay the price for it. She had gone through enough already. Though, seeing as how both of the twins were still around he was guessing they were fine. No rules or anything broken so it seemed. Seiji waved slightlyas the two began to lift off. He guessed it would be their task to open the window if it wasn't already so. He turned his attention back to Ranka, letting his hand wave infront of her. She still looked as if she was thinking. "Hey you." Seiji said, smiling once more. "Still with me?"

Hearing Tristan become nervous and telling her that he wanted to save her life, made Elly blush and feel happy. She sighed though and turned her eyes away from Tristan's when he wagged his finger at her. Why couldn't people just let her do what she wanted? But then again she might almost kill herself again so she guessed it was fine... since it was Tristan telling her. He then picked Elly up and she winced as a little pain had traveled through her back, though it stopped after he adjusted his hands. She waved her hand in front of her face as if to tell him not to worry about it, and she rest her head on his right shoulder as he took her. "You know, when i was unconscious and thought i was going to die, my brother spoke to me. I don't know if it was in a dream or on the brink of my death, but it felt so real. He was the same as how I imagined he'd look right now. He told me he would talk to me again. I was really happy. I was also very happy when I saw you for the first time when waking up. I didn't know it was you until I stared at you and my heart told me 'That's Tristan'. If you had died I... I wouldn't have been able to accept it. You... I feel something with you that i could not feel with other people. It's a rather embarassing feeling, but it is also very... very happy, that is, when i'm around you..." she told him and blushed again, not sure if it was appropriate to say the actual feelings that she wanted to. Would he think she was being caught up in the moment due to her almost death?
Elly now felt a bit scared and wasn't sure what to do about it. "H-hey, do you think you could take me to my room? The infirmary scares me cause I don't like hospitals..." Elly asked softly, a weak hand tugging at Tristans shirt when she said this.

Boyfriend... She had heard the word spoken but didn't initially react. As he waved his hand in front of her, Ranka blinked twice, snapping out of it as she looked up to him. Pushing herself off the ground, she smoothed out her skirts, hands coming to rest at her sides. "I did not technically leave." She answered, watching her sister get flown off by Vira.
Turning her attention back to him, that pinging had faded, making her glance down to her chest before she looked back up to him. "I was simply trying to understand this one feeling was all. It happened earlier when you spoke of other girls you had thought attractive. Tightening in the chest, something akin to anger or disliking something, overall unpleasant. What is that?" She asked, wanting to understand why such little things such as a pretty girl meeting them affected her so. It did not make any logical sense at this point in time.

He was starting to forget that Ranka still didn't understand some phrases and the like. He chuckled, his smile widening. "It's...just something people say sometimes. You were lost in thought, paying attention to something else." Just one more thing he would have to be careful of in the future, the little sayings she might not understand. Hopefully his explanation of this one was decent enough. He could expand more on it if he gave it some more thought. For now he'd just wait and see if she understood.
When Ranka seemed to go back to her thoughts, Seiji guessed something new was bothering her. As their eyes met once more, Seiji prepared himself for her newest question. Upon hearing it, Seiji laughed again, his hands raising up to her face. He placed them gently upon her her neck, just under her jawline. "Jealousy." He said simply, his eyes searching over her face. "That's what that would be. I'm sure you know a definition of the word. You're jealous. How cute." Seiji said, laughing again. "Well, you have no reason to be jealous, let me assure you of this." He added on, as he slowly leaned forward returning her earlier kiss. His lips met with Ranka's cold cheek, slowly pulling back after doing so.

Seeing that she was fine, Tristan was actually a bit surprised she felt rather light. Vira felt more dense, though he always teased her it was because she ate so much. The thought made him inwardly chuckle, his eyes coming to rest upon her as he felt her head rest on his shoulder. It made him feel all giddy, it was so stupid he did, yet still a valid reason. His eyebrows raised, she had spoken to her brother? He almost commented but decided to wait, allowing her to finish since that was more polite. And... well... As she spoke of what her heart had confirmed for her, he blushed. For once, you could actually see the faint color that was in his face.
His brain sort of went fritzy for a couple of minutes, because it sounded like she might feel the same way. Oh man he could feel that joy pumping through his blood stream! He chuckled softly, kissing the top of her head softly. "Of course." He turned towards the dorms and began to walk, careful that he didn't bounce her around or anything. "I'm glad that you got a chance to speak with your brother, I'm sure it provides a bit of closure you know? I saw my parents when I died. And for once, I could tell they were truly at peace. No extended family snapping at their backs, no pressure from their life... They understood and I know they'll wait for me when it's my time. Well, my real time." He laughed, thinking over that for a moment. He paused, thinking of them both. He had seen them while he waited for his body to be finished.
Though, this also made him refocus on one simple fact. "By all accounts, I was dead. I had died... and I was surprisingly calm about it. I didn't feel upset, and only regretted one thing." He had to pause to allow some students to go ahead since he didn't want to risk bumping Elly into any of them. Could he tell her now considering? "I didn't tell you I... Well, I feel the same way with you. I... I like you Elly, a lot." He blushed, glancing down to her, his heart in his throat since he was nervous to find out what she would say, how she would react. Slipping in with some students that were lagging behind, he headed upstairs, trying to appear as calm as possible.

Ranka blinked, and promptly blushed faintly in embarrassment. She needed to work on understanding these phrases they had. "Oh. I see." She murmured softly, her brows furrowing as he laughed. Her confusion upon this new feeling was... amusing? Though, her expression relaxed back to it's normally impassive self minus the fact she blushed. She could feel the warmth from his hands shoot up an down her neck, awaiting his answer.
When she heard it, it made her pause, processing that. She had felt... jealous? Towards those girls? She almost appeared puzzled, she still didn't quite understand why she had felt it. "Yes. Jealousy: a feeling of jealous envy (especially of a rival)." She murmured, blushing as he called it "cute." It was? She almost asked how it was cute when he began to speak, some part of her relaxing as she heard him say that. As his face drew closer to hers she felt her heart beating faster, the blush in her cheeks darkening. She sort of shivered at the kiss, her brain becoming like a Windows computer when it just goes blue screen. She felt really happy, all of her skin feeling warm for a brief second, color returning to her skin. But as soon as it had arrived, it was gone, leaving her pale and cold again.
Her eyes followed his face as he moved back, bringing a hand up to her cheek, blinking as her mind kicked back into gear, processing what had just happened with her body. She hadn't been cold... Or had it been a hallucination? A trick of the mind...

As Elly listened to Tristan's explaination of him accepting his 'death' she got worried and felt herself tear up a bit. But that all went away when he told her he regreted something, which she was quite curious about.
When he told her that he liked her, and a lot for that matter, she could feel her stomach flutter like butterflies were in it. She hadn't realized that she had told him her feelings, though she knew she felt something for him, but she didn't actually realize it was a love kind of like that she felt. Her face flushed red and she wasn't sure what to do. She caught Tristans eyes on her and she couldn't stare at him or anything. She covered her eyes, a little too fast and hurt her arms when she did that, but she didn't mind the pain because her heart was leaping, leaping for understanding and joy. "You... like... me? But i'm a ticking power bomb, aren't you scared of me?" she asked, hoping he wasn't for thats how all the other people Elly liked ended up feeling and she really, really, really hoped that that was how he felt.

He caught her movement to cover her eyes out of the corners of his own, his nerves getting worse since he wasn't sure what that meant. God, he should have just kept his mouth shut!! Well, thats what he initially thought, students making their way carefully around him. Thankfully her room wasn't too far from the stairs, her question making his nerves calm rather immediately.
His laughter boomed out, the sound deeper than his previous laugh, yet more hearty. Glancing to the lock, he could sense the shadows inside of it, blinking as he heard the clink of the lock. Ok... so he wasn't sure how he did that.... He just thought about it. In any case, the door swung open and now he looked down to her. "I leaped head first into certain death to save you. I'm not scared at all." He answered, still chuckling over that. Stepping into her room, he carefully laid her down on her bed, pulling up a chair. He took her hand again, giving it a gentle squeeze to further reassure her. "You may not have full control of your powers, but no one really does here except the teachers and Atlas. Vira's a time bomb too, but she's learning. So will you. Honestly, you can be so silly sometimes." He smiled, shaking his head a little.

Well, she understood for the most part. That was good. Emotions were a strange thing though, you couldn't always tell why you were feeling something. In Ranka's case it was likely even more so. Seiji was confident that eventually she would understand it all, or most of the emotions anyway. Part of it was understanding the emotion, the other part was just being able to experience those emotions. There wasn't much of a point in understanding emotions if you didn't ever experience them. It was almost like an application portion of emotions. Like with class, there was no point in teaching something unless you had the students apply their knowledge to an actual situation. This would be good enough to help Ranka though.
His actions following his explanation seemed to cause Ranka to blank out again. He waited a few moments more, sure that the effect would ware off soon. "So, even if you do ever feel jealous again, you don't have anything to worry about." Seiji was the type of indivudal to remain faithful in a relationship like this. Trust and loyalty were an important part of any relationship, romance or not. "Is there anything else on your mind?" He asked, wondering if there might be something more. He let his hands slowly drop from her neck, one reaching for the hand at her side.

Ranka did refocus upon him, still a bit blown away by the fact she had felt warm. Like a live person, like him. Blinking, she snapped out of that daze quickly, listening to him. She blushed since she was embarrassed to have felt such small jealousy for such small things. It was... petty? It almost felt as if another part of her filled in that blank, but she didn't worry about it for now. "I know you wouldn't. I... don't know why I felt it, but I am fine now." She murmured, smoothing back her hair from her eye.
She lowered her gaze and seemed to pause to think about that. "I... when you kissed my cheek, I felt... " Her brows furrowed as she searched for the right word, looking down to her hand as the other had slid easily into his. "... alive. I didn't feel cold. I do not understand since I was made this way. To be akin to what I work with. If a warm person went into the conditions I did, they would be cold. To feel such a flash means there must be something in my body that means I could be like you and Sheryl. But I do not understand why." She figured it was best to be honest about what she was thinking about rather than keeping it in. After all, it did sort of relate to him since that small kiss to her cheek had caused such a reaction. It was making her wonder if it was tied to the memory flashes she had had earlier.

She saw a boy carrying Elly go past and it made her blink, for the two seemed familiar with one another but she did not recognize that face... Her brows furrowed, wondering if it was who she thought it was. Shaking her head for the moment, her creations jobs were finished, poofing into smoke as she finally stepped outside. God that felt good to. Hearing a screech, Vadasz came swooping down, landing lightly on her shoulder which caused her to smile. "Ah there you are. Sorry to worry you. It would seem we almost needed your help earlier. But you were trapped on the other side of the barrier, weren't you?" She murmured to him, listening to his coos with a chuckle.
She did pause and glance to the damage done to the windows in the cafeteria, sighing lightly. Glancing up to her phoenix friend, she smirked and nodded, "Yeah, you're right. I should." Pulling out her notepad again, she redrew the windows as she remembered, glancing up to see that the glass was restored. Satisfied, she wondered what the twins would be doing now, but for now she wouldn't worry about it. No, instead she walked around, wondering where Jareth had gone. It was likely he wasn't far.

"You don't always have to understand these emotions right away." Seiji commented as their hands closed together. "Even people who deal with emotions everyday don't understand everything they feel. That's all a part of having emotions and living with them." Things had been certainly easier for him sinc he came to the academy. He'd felt more, at home in a sense. At th every least he was happy he'd met Ranka, as well as Sheryl. The two of them made him feel a little more normal. Psyhardens were shunned in some places, like many other races that had different or unique abilities. Here he didn't have to hide who he was. Along the happiness he felt when he was with Ranka, Seiji found himself liking Estelle more and more.
It did sound a little strange. Seiji hadn't noticed the change because it had been so brief. Ranka always felt cold to the touch, to be warm must be such a new sensation to her. "Well..." Seiji started, mulliing over his own thoughts on the matter. "Earlier...you said you're never supposed to remember anything from your past lives." As annoying as that might be, it was also probably convenient for them, consider some of the things the twins must have dealt with in the past. "Maybe....you weren't always like this?" Seiji offered. "You're reborn, or recreated....so maybe each time you are the Elders have also altered your bodies. Maybe in your past you weren't always so cold?"

No, she supposed she wasn't supposed to. Especially not her. At least everyone else knew what it was like to feel such things. She still had little to no idea about many. Her brows furrowed a bit at what he offered as an explanation, taking a moment before she raised her gaze to meet his own. She just didn't know. "It's a possibility. I just don't know. I'm sure the Elder's are having fun, this is probably a game to them. They do enjoy messing with peoples lives, akin to tales of the Greek Gods and Goddesses who did the same." She mused, trying to think back to what she could recall about those memories.
It made her wince because she recalled the pain, her hand gripping his a bit tighter unconsciously. But she had caught what she was looking for. "She was flush like you and Sheryl. I mus-" She paused, feeling as if something block her from speaking, a frown creasing on her lips. She guess this was their way of stopping her from talking about this subject anymore, exhaling slowly. She stepped forward and just touched her forehead to his shoulder, the motion gentle. "I can't talk about it anymore." She said softly, closing her eyes.

Elly blushed as Tristan laughed at her. It wasn't so much that he was laughed at her but what she said. Reguardless, it made her red and once set on the bed, she took her free arm and put it over her eyes, which was what she did to make it seem as though people weren't looking at her, when she knew they were. "...I guess your're right I just... my past... 'interests' didn't really like the fact that I could put their lives in danger and so they ended up breaking up wtih me a week or so into going out with me, due to these facts. It still makes me sad and so I always think that love won't work out. But this is the first time I really liked someone else myself..." she told him, though it was a bit hard to do so because she was choking on words.

Tristan merely smiled softly as he saw her hide her eyes with her arm, his thumb stroking the skin of her hand gently. He listened and his expression did not change, and if it did it only gained affection for her. As she began to choke on the words, he moved from the chair and sat carefully on the edge of her bed.
He reached forward and gently moved her arm away from her eyes, his hand sliding up her arm to take her hand in his, always mindful that he didn't hurt her. "Then they didn't truly accept all of you. I will not say that they did not truly care for you, for that may be incorrect. But I will say that they did not truly accept who you are." He said softly, leaning over her to kiss her cheek ever so gently. "I faced your dangers head on and I did not care. Besides, a little danger can make life interesting hm?" He pulled back slowly, his dark eyes meeting her own, a slight smirk upon his lips.
