"This time, Bon might not be there to pull you from the flames." Tsuzuki blinked, as if those words had cut him. How did he manage to forget that? To just...ignore it? The only thing...the only reason that he hadn't let himself go...it had been Kurosaki Hisoka. Slowly, his eyes shifter from Watari to Muraki. He loved Muraki...Muraki was a wonderful human being. Someone he loved, someone he would do anything for. Someone who accepted him absolutely. But... "I want you to exist, even just for me! I don't want to be left alone! This is the only place for me...just here, in your heart. " Hisoka had cried so terribly, had held onto him so very tightly, needed him so very desperately. It was as if Tsuzuki had completely forgotten...as though over time it had just been...erased. But...Muraki. Iie...Hisoka, his Hisoka... "K...kurosaki..." Tsuzuki muttered before he bolted to the bathroom and threw up, not even having heard the rest of what Watari had said.

Watching Tsuzuki run off, the scientist knew exactly what his friend had realized.
"Is Asato... I mean..." Kazutaka looked from the direction of the bathroom to Watari. "Is he alright?"
Nodding, the blond smiled sadly. "He'll be fine. I think he just forgot how much we all care about him. Some more than others I suppose." sighing, he turned his amber gaze on the doctor. "Now... are you ready to agree to me being your brother's new host, or is he going to have to start eating away at your other eye for you to decide?"
Unable to help it, Muraki winced. "Asato doesn't want to do it but... Look, when Saki... I mean well, when he appeared again, he wanted Asato so badly... I can't let him have what he wants... Mister...?"
"Watari." the blond shinigami spoke with a bit of a smile. "Watari Yutaka. And I'd rather not see Tsuzuki hurt either, Muraki-san."

Having emptied his stomach of its contents, Tsuzuki flushed the toiled and turned the faucet on cold, washing his hands and face in the white sink. Biting his lip, Tsuzuki stared at his reflection in the mirror above the sink, unsure of himself more so than he had ever really been before. There was no option, though...he had to help Muraki, had to save him. He truly did love the doctor, now that he understood him. Perhaps...perhaps he needed to understand Muraki and care for the man the way Hisoka had for him? Still...what he was doing, the decision he was making...no matter the reason, he feared that it would absolutely destroy Hisoka, something that Tsuzuki didn't want to put the young shinigami through. No matter how much he loved Kazu, he truly did love Hisoka as well. Hurting Hisoka would hurt Tsuzuki, but so would hurting Muraki. And to help Muraki, he would have to subject his closest friend to unknown torment, possibly the end of his very being...which would tear Tsuzuki apart inside, though the same would happen if he allowed Saki to destroy the doctor that he loved. No matter what, Tsuzuki would wind up suffering and making somebody else suffer. In that moment, Tsuzuki cursed his feelings, and his very existence. Finally, he shut off the faucet and slowly opened the bathroom door, walking out as though he were the most defeated man to ever step foot on the earth. "Yutaka..." he spoke softly, "I don't know what is right or wrong in this situation...but we have to help Kazutaka. Do...what you have to do." the shinigami wrapped his arms around himself, holding his own elbows, the very picture of nervousness and discomfort.

Micheal just looked at all three of them with an unreadable expression on his face. The demon hadn't really expected them to accept his offer, but this all seemed so foolish to him. Still, he couldn't be faulted for making some offer of help. The black haired man turned on his heel and walked back into the bedroom to check on Otori. Let the shinigami worry about their own problems, his angel was top priority to him.

"I don't think any of us can know what's right and wrong here..." the blond replied sadly. "All I can offer... is a way to buy you more time. But YOU, Tsuzuki-chan, will have to perform the transfer and the sealing... which means you're going to have to be ready to use a LOT of power at once. I can help draw Saki in, but I can't seal him away. I don't have the strength to do such powerful magic."
Standing from the sofa, Muraki focused his grey gaze on the amethyst-eyed shinigami. "I'll help in any way I can. Medically, I may be able to figure a few things out... seems Saki is the one with the arcane knowledge. Not me. But..." It was then he noticed as Micheal left the room. "What's with him?" Kazutaka asked quizzically. Of course, he didn't know about Otori being unconscious in the other room.

Eyes widening, Tsuzuki crouched down on the floor. "Y...you mean I have to do this? What if I fail? What if I get us all killed? I can't...I can't do this, Yutaka! There has to be someone else. I'm too scared!" Tsuzuki was beginning to collapse under the pressure and stress of everything. He doubted himself so intensely that, in his mind, it were better to simply begin to close himself off and shut down. Then Muraki looked at him. Muraki. His Kazu. The innocent doctor. He just needed...a little help. "Kazu...do you think I could do it?"

One gentle hand... Muraki carefully squeezed Tsuzuki's shoulder, smiling softly. "Of course you can." the doctor replied. "I've put my trust in you, Asato-kun. You already sealed him for me... I'm sure you can do this if you really focus."
"And you're not alone, you know." Watari added with a smile. "I'll pour all my power into writing a few ofuda too. That way, it should be even more compatible when used on me." Kneeling on Tsuzuki's other side, the scientist put his forehead against his friend's own. "You can't kill me with these methods anyway, Tsuzuki-chan, and you know it. So don't worry about killing anyone. Got it?"

Muraki was on one side, Watari on the other. His lover, his best friend. They trusted him. They believed in him. They were there for him. Now he needed to pull through for them. They were right, he could do this. He would do this. All he needed was to focus, and to believe in himself. "Ok...I think I...iie, I can do this. I can so do this!" Tsuzuki put his trademark smile back in its place. He was still nervous, still frightened, but he knew he had no choice but to go through with things. It was the only way. "Just...let me have a little time to rest." Taking Muraki's hand, he stood, putting his arms around the doctor lovingly.

Smiling, Muraki wrapped his arms around Tsuzuki's neck. "You'll do fine. Really. But you're not even going to attempt it until you're rested."
"I wouldn't dream of him even considering it." Watari replied before looking toward his bedroom. "I'm KIND of low on sleeping space though... With Otori-san unconscious and on my bed... all that's left is the sofa, unless you want me to find my futon." he smiled slightly. "I've got one somewhere... for emergencies... well I've technically got two but the other is more of a cot, and it's in my lab."

The white clad man stood above him, his eye glinting dangerously in the light. But...wasn't it nighttime? So bright...it was the light of flames. The man in white was injured. Something terrible had happened. Something even worse was happening. Otori couldn't move. He was held down by an irresistible force. Smiling, the man stepped closer, a wicked grin spreading itself across his face. He was laughing at him. Suddenly, it burned. His whole body burned so terribly, as if the flames were swallowing him whole. The wicked man bent down, running his tongue over the angel's chest, his hands grasping his wings, pulling at them roughly. "No....please....no!" he begged, struggling against the invisible force. Chuckling, the man above him said a series of words that the angel couldn't make out, then proceeded to do as he wished with the angel's body as Otori cried out over and over again, pleading for mercy that would not be given. Drenched in sweat, Otori shot up in the bed, gasping for cool air, grasping for anything, anyone near him. The pain was no longer there, but the trauma had left him rather shaken and scarred.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I know. Perhaps we should go to my apartment for the night, ne, Kazu?" he questioned. He didn't know if that would stand to be an acceptable idea, but it would save Watari the trouble of having to look after them.
Micheal looked startled for a moment when Otori sat bolt upright and grabbed at him. Without thinking, he put his arms around the angel. "It's okay. I won't let anyone hurt you while I live. Before, well. . ." He made a noise of exasperation at his own failure. "I wasn't exactly what one could call living. But I suppose for a time you could say the same thing about yourself."
The demon reached a hand up and began scratching lightly at the fine feathers where Otori's wings met his back. He had learned that birds tended to like that and it seemed a good way to soothe the angel. "I'd make it better if I could." What exactly had happened to the angel he had only a basic grasp of, and that was only recognition of the runes that marked his beloved's body. It would take co-operation and months before he could subvert the spells but the angel would never be rid of them. That was beyond his abilities.
Micheal was there. Micheal was holding him. Micheal was going to protect him. He was safe. He was safe. He...couldn't convince himself that he was safe. Everything had flooded to the forefront of his mind in one huge wave, leaving the angel stunned, frightened, and damaged. The physical pain of the curse didn't help at all for Otori's ability to cope. He understood that Micheal meant well, wanted to help him, but being touched right now was overwhelming. "Let go! Get off me!" the tenshi shouted, pushing the demon back away from him.
Micheal released Otori, a look of slight hurt on his face. It was a strange look for the demon, he understood little about his own emotions. It was only with his angel that he even attempted to express more than a sardonic humor or anger at the world around him. He moved back until he was standing at the foot of the bed, looking more like an embarrased youth instead of a powerful demon. Instead of flying into a rage, that would be so easy for him to do, he just stood there, watching Otori.
Too much. All just too much. Everything hurt, burned as if he were being consumed by the flames that he could still see so bright in his minds eye. "Stop it. Stop it. Iie. Tasukete!" the angel pleaded to no one in particular. He had fallen into a state of panicked madness, his wings folding out behind him as he sat in the bed, reaching from one side of the bed to the other, a burning amber aura beginning to shimmer around his form. A broken angel was a dangerous thing. In this moment, if nobody stopped him, forced him to come to his senses, it stood to reason that somebody, if not everybody, was going to get hurt as the angel let his instincts take over.
Micheal stared at Otori for a moment. This didn't look good, he knew that the angel could very probably hurt him. His guardians had readily enough, but if he didn't do something there would be hell to pay. Assuming anyone survived. Gritting his teeth against expected pain he reached out a hand and caught hold of the angel.
"Otori. . snap out of it. Nothing in this room can hurt you." He spoke softly at first trying to catch the angel's attention. Not really expecting that to work, he reached across with his other hand and slapped Otori across the face. It wasn't that hard of a blow, just enough to get the angel's attention. At least that was the theory.
