Erika frowned. "Krious commands Darkness, period. He can do whatever he wants with Darkness..." Erika shook her head. "Regardless, I want to stick around with you. Two are mightier then one, correct?"

"Agreed". Emily sat back down and smelled her food. She gave a small, silent prayer and procceded to eat the food ravanously.

Once at home, Anselm phoned Derek's hospital room to see how he was. He was worried, but hopeful that the kid made it through. He sighed as he was told to wait and put on hold. He was seated on a sofa with the tv on mute. Sesame Street was on.

Erika didn't eat, she watched Emily. Erika was having a slight feeling that what she did last night (electrocuted that poor kid) would soon come back to haunt her...

Emily sensed somthing wrong. "Uh, my angst senses are tingling. What's up??". Emily was quite in earnest when she asked her question. She always liked to help.

Erika suddenly snapped back to reality. "Oh! Yes. Well, the reason I'm still in this ninja outfit is because after my brief patrol last night, I wasn't able to get back in my house. But before I returned home, I had a brief conflict with some other hero who suspected me to be a villian. So I blasted him with a bolt of electricity to shut him up. And I think that'll come back in a bad way..."

Emily looked at Erika blankly. "I'm so glad I'm not a hero.....", she said. She drank her soup and ate the little crackers that came with it.

Emily's stomach agreed with Erika. She should stop before problems arrived. "Yeah, I'm done. Let's go". She hailed the waitress and paid for the meals. Walking to the door she opened it and said,"After you".

"Down the street that way", Emily said, pointing to the left. Her stomach wasn't exactly feeling good, but what did she expect from rich food.

Erika nodded, and started walking. She hoped that Emily was planning on being quiet for the walk, Erika wanted to be alone with her thoughts. So many things to think about, including not just what she did last night, but the situation with Emily. Erika didn't want to inconveience Emily, but she felt as if she had no choice.

They reached the mission. It was a older brick building that was fading. Emily started to walk up the steps when she stopped and turned. "You coming in, or do need to be somewhere else?".

((Unfortunatly, there is no house. She lives at a mission. The pastor extends shelter to homeless people. Emily is homeless, but lives here most of the time.))
As they walked into the mission, several people stared at them, all of them wearing pretty beat up clothes. Most of them smiled and waved at Emily, but a few didn't. They just stared. A man walked out of a hallway, a big grin on his face. He was tall, stocky, and bald. He wore a buttened-up, bright orange t-shirt and kahki shorts. His eyes gleamed behind his glasses. "Emily!!! How's it going?", the man asked. Emily smiled, the smile spliting her face. "It's going great Hans", she answered. "I've got someone for you to meet. This is......?", Emily trailed off, trying to remember if she got Erika's hero name or not.
