OK lets get some things done...

• We are doing the points for posts idea, correct?
  
  -The second option
  -the cut-off will be at midnight the Friday before term ends
  -all we need to do is decide what awards were giving and how much each one is worth (I'm thinking maybe we should give a prize to the top poster for each term for each house...and then house points to the top poster for the term among those four)
  
  
  
• Icee is going to be the Head Elf for the upcoming term but we need to decide her role as Head Elf...
  
  -does she get mod status? or just the password to Adonis? or both?
  -does she give/take away house points?
  -what does her job include in all (so we're all on the right page)
  -will she re-make the Giggling Pear?
  
  
  
• We should give Angil a title of some sort so members know why she's a mod...
  
  -I suppose we could settle for "Event Coordinator" but I'd like to come up with a creative name if we can
  
  
  
• about early sorting...
  
  -did we ever decide how elves are supposed to go about that?
  -are we going to keep track of who got who to apply to the guild...since that was one of the requirements...
  
  
  
• PREFECTS!!!
  
  -I haven't checked if anyone PMed prefect names to Adonis or not, but no one's sent them to me...I NEED THEM BEFORE MONDAY!!! domokun

OK,
seeing as how term starts tomorrow,
These will all take affect immediately (and if you have a problem with any of them, please don't hesitate to voice it)

I'm going to give Icee Mod status (she's had it before, so I don't see the problem with it) but I suggest that she doesn't add or take away house points, being a house elf and out of the reach of the houses...
She's now the Head Elf, and I suggest she makes a new Giggling Pear...but I suggest that all of it's current uses need to remain, you may add more...just don't make it too complicated...these are our newest members, so they'll probably be confused enough...

Angil is here-by our "Event Coordinator" until we think up a better title.
I think that she also shouldn't be able to give or take away points unless for event purposes or for her teaching duties...


I'll take Prefect names until the 5th, but if I don't get them, then your house is just going to have to deal without them...And remember that I want only one from each house from 3rd to 6th...if you don't have any members in any one of your houses, I suggest you ask another to request to be bumped up or down a house. Frankly, I'm getting tired of making exceptions for everything. I have yet to have a single first year sorted into my house, but if that's the way it's going to be, I'll take it.


Since I haven't gotten any opposition, I've decided we're going to try out points for posts. The awards and prizes will be as follows (all donation letters will be supplied by myself, I don't mind, and will be from between Sep06 and Nov06):

• Awards for Students:
  • Most posts this term: 50 points + Donation Letter
    • Also a donation letter will go to the top posts for the term from each house. (that means two letters and the points for the top poster)
  • House with most posts/student this term: 20 points
  • House with most posts this term: 20 points (these will usually be different, trust me)
• Awards for House Elves:
  • Most posts:
    • First place: one of three donation letters (first choice)
    • Second place: one of three donation letters (second choice)
    • Third place: one of three donation letters (third choice)

^That's 8 letters in all, on my part...belive it or not, but I usually get about 10 letters a month anyways...^
