Yurikai Motou Red_Ronin YurikaiMotou Red_Ronin YurikaiMotou Selysia debated on whether or not to answer him as an unreadable emotion flashed across her eyes. "It wasn't my choice...my mother, in a feigned attempt to save me from my stepfather, took me to an old ninja master to train. He first refused because I was female, so my mother took her own life in front us leaving him basically the option to either dispose of me or train me," she replied. "So....why did you become samurai?" she asked. Red's face flushed a little as he thought back to when he started his training. "I was not born in Nippon. My parents ship crashed here when I was a child. I was the only survivor of the crash. I roamed about Nippon from place to place, but no one wanted a foreinger in there town. Eventually I made my way to the desert. There the scorpion clan found me & saw how determined I was to not perish in the desert. They took me in as one of them & trained me to be samurai." Selysia dropped her glare toward the ground in deep thought at what he had said. "Intriguing that a samurai and a ninja have a few things in common. Both had hard paths to traverse and both determined to survive," she stated. "Yes there does seem to be similarities between us. I for one would never have imagined having so much in common with a ninja. You're very different from all other ninja I've met & fought." Red stopped & thought for a moment about what he was about to say. "Perhaps we aren't enemies after all then." "Perhaps not....I wouldn't have attacked you anyway...unless you provoked an attack or commited some form of injustice," Selysia explained and then looked toward where Gaijin and the other samurai where fighting. "I also don't like to fight to prove that I'm a better fighter; it is pointless and a complete waist of time that can be spent to fight those that would corrupt and plunder," "I understand what your saying, yet sometimes there is a need for battle beyond fighting the good fight. This fight between your ninja leader & the samurai has a point if you look for it. I would say it's a test of equeals for perhaps future conquest."

Gaijin Otaku azrael the reaper *azrael swung his leg suddenly, to knock the ninja-to aside just for a moment so as to roll over. he got up quickly and dashed at his opponent and grabbed his bloody boken out of the ninja's skull. as he did so, there was more than a trickle as a large gash still remained where the boken had once been. he got to the tai jinku stance, watching to see what his opponent would do next. Taking what looked like sand out of a pouch which hung on his belt, Gaijin poured it on his head. Suddenly the blood stopped flowing like a river & his open wound healed. "Healing dust is such a wonderful thing wouldn't you say?" Without another word the ninja struck out at the samurai with his ninja-to. *azrael dashed toward the ninja and slashed at the pouch, spilling it upon the ground. many plants and roots long since dead suddenly began to grow rapidly around the ninjas feet "yes, it most certainly is........" *azrael began running back at his opponent once more, ready for whatever he had in mind.

Kumori walked along the a small stretch of path, he was uneasy of this area thus his left hand remained rested on his katana, his eyes glowed gently. He was tired at this time, his yukata made him stick out almost anywhere "Sometimes I wish I had another set of clothing" he laughed slightly, he hadnt been attacked in a while by anyone from his clan so he was happy

Two missed, but one found it's mark in the samurai's leg.

"you know, great ninja, i believe we agreed to physical abilities...... why do you bring out healing powder? if i am not mistaken, that would be concidered magic. " *azrael got into the taijinku stance, watching his opponent carefully, waiting for a reply.

Taking out a small pouch hidden in his sleeve he thru it at the samurai. 'Healing dust. Use it on your wound so we may continue our battle."

*azrael used the powder without restraint. he could see this ninja was true to his word, and would not using magic upon him. so he was sure this was not poison of any kind. azrael looked at the ninja and spoke:
"i see now you are a man of honor. that is something i can not even say about some of my samurai coleagues. i have never had any quarrel with the ninja clan, so long as they have not attacked me or my students, but i must say that you are very skilled. you certainly deserve the leadership you have. however, i wonder how you exspect to decide when the fight ends? we can not fight on forever you know......."
