Cooro jugged back to where he had left Adelle. "Adelle, are you still here?" He called to her, hoping that she had not run off. "Where are you dear?" his cool voice called.
Echo nodded. "Indeed that is his daughter. That is a very possible fact. Our next stop id a couple streets down." She pointed behind her. "Either way, we can fun to the forest, or go to this other spot. Please let me know." Echo said calmly.

Adelle quickly ran towards Cooro, wrapping her arms around his slender waist. "I thought you had left me, mon père."
"Ah, I hear Lycan in the forests. Do you think he would take such a path to obtain food? Though I do doubt one would find any large game in this city's streets. Let us try the woodland. I myself am curious to see just how many wolves we have to contend with, should we anger them."

Cooro hugged her back. "Adelle, do you really think that I would leave you?" he asked her rubbing his hand over her back. "I will never leave you." He told her looking her in the eyes.
Echo nodded. "I do wonder just how many Lycan there are here. It seems to be a hot spot for all kinds of activity."

"I can try to carry him if you lead the way," Marie replied, kneeling down towards the sound of Somni's voice. She felt the ground with her hand and rested it on her savior's shoulder. Lifting him up on one arm with great effort, she managed to drag both of them up to a stand. "Unh. This man is very heavy."

Adelle closed her eyes and embraced the moment. "We should be off father. I feel other preternatural in the forest."
"I think I'll carry him. God knows the thing might lash out and bite you." Somni knelt down aside the strange Nosferatu and carefully slid his arms beneath. "Hey buddy, you're not exactly light." He mocked. "Let's go Marie."
"That it is Echo. Let's be off." Caine followed an unnatural sprint. He wouldn't need Echo to tell him where the forest was. The rank stench of wolf was suffice enough.
Julian sulked through the trees, miserably cold and annoyed. He moved to turn back when a whiff of something odd fell under his sensitive nose. A...vampire? He pushed through the foliage in haste only to stumble upon a small waterfall.

Caine slid to a halt on the forests edge. "Even I can sense him from here. Him and all the other Lycan accompanying." He gave a cruel stare. "I say we go in. Perhaps I will get the opportunity to use this well crafted serum of mine." Caine gave a light pat to the side of his coat.
"Yes, let's go please." Adelle locked her fingers into Cooro's, slightly frightened at the sounds around her.

Echo nodded. "Yes, let us enter, I look forward to the mysteries masked by the forest. Let us go." She said plunging into the brush of the forest. Cooro was not far.
Cooro smiled at the girl. "Adelle do not fear the forest, it is a gentle place when there is not so much conflict. There will be a time I can assure you where there will be peace."

"Not enough." Arzachel replied to Eve grimly. "Circumstances both increase my need to get away to here, and prevent me from relocating to this place. When I go here I usually plan to stay for awhile." He said. "And stay awhile I shall. Call me a bit of a mystic, but I do perform a form of meditation as a means of harnessing the lost secrets of the Ancients. I know things that even my creator and former master, who is very high ranking member of the Aeacus would be shocked at..." He walked into the cave, in which could be seen several pieces of furniture, all simple but elegant in design. He smiled. "Its ironic... my former master is high on the Aeacus's hierarchy... and I wish greatly that they were brought down and the air salted with their dust." Arzachel sat crosslegged on the rough rock floor of the cave. He faintly sensed a werewolf edging on the edge of his sanctuary. "It seems we'll be having a visitor soon." Arzachel said with a sigh.
Zack shook his head. "No... it isss okay. I will change my form sssoon... I must finisssh digesting my prey before I can change... I will need to change anywaysss... unlike my coyote form... my time in this one isss limited." Zack explained. Lucius did a lot of research on Zack's power, but neither he nor Zack himself quite understood why most of his forms were limited, though Lucius knew how Zack acquired new forms, but never told Zack, and he knew it.

Marie frowned. "Do you know the way back?" She asked, mildly upset. Her walking stick clattered angrily on the ground, looking for the place where the familiar sidewalks began again.
"I'm so bored!" Miles threw his hands up and said exasperatedly. He began making brownies for Marie and himself. "Gosh. If you hadn't gone out and gotten lost, I could be asleep! Sleeping! Aaagh."

Eve took a seat on a sofa and examined the cave's entrance. "Do you think he is a danger? I certainly hope not. I've never faced such an adversary before, as they tend to stray from Laytham's streets."
Julian edged closer to the raging waterfall, the scent somewhat disintegrating behind. I know you are here vampires... He pushed through the stream of water, taking a moment to let his eyes adjust.
Adelle eased. "And how will that time be brought about. I'm sure that half the Lycan in this area wouldn't hesitate to tear us apart."
"I got here, didn't I?" Somni stared dully at Marie. "Let's just go. This thing is hard to carry." They traversed the streets, Somni having to stop on occasion to readjust. When the bakery was within site again, a relief crept over him. During the short journey, the vampire would sporadically fidget, or sigh in his sleep. Each time Somni would grimace at the thought of him waking. "There." He 'dropped' the Nosferatu in a booth by the window and exhaled. "Here's your sister, and here's a guy for you to take care of as payment." He sneered at Miles.
Caine followed happily, sensing the Nosferatu close by. "Cooro! My old friend! How have you been?" Caine approached the pair with outstretched arms.

Damian had been resting with Hannah, he came up with something he had been wanting to ask Julian. He stood up and looked around. Hannah looked up at him. "What is up brother?" She asked softly.
"I have a question for Julian. Do you know where he went off to?" Damian asked.
Mara nodded. "That makes sense, we wouldn't want you to harm yourself changing. How much longer do you have until you must change?" She asked fearfully. She sat down in the soft grass and looked up at his snake form towering over her.
"Adelle." Cooro sighed, "My dear, do you not have faith that we will make it though this conflict, and that somehow things will turn out for the best?" He asked her stopping to look her in the eyes. "Do you think this war will never end, and that before it does we will all find ourselves dead?" Cooro asked softly.
Cooro looked up, quite surprised by the scent in the air, and the jovial voice that addressed him. "Caine?" Cooro asked addressing his old friend. "I am fine thank you." He said smiling warmly at the vampire. "Do you have- yes I see her now. Hello miss Echo." He said bowing to her. "I think you two know my daughter Mara, this is my other daughter Adelle." He said proudly.
Echo curtsied back. "It is a pleasure to meed you Miss Adelle." She said to the female. "I am Echo, and yes Cooro, I am well, thank you." She nodded, a wisp of a smile creeping across her lips.

Danju passed by Hannah and Damian, now in his massive black furred true form. "If I remember correctly, I believe he wandered off, looking for a vampire. Though I don't think he should have wandered away from the patrol." He said narrowing his eyes and looking into the forest.
"Hard to tell...." Zack said to Mara. He wrapped his tail gently around Mara, merely acting as a blanket of sorts and was very slow and gentle in the process of doing so. "If only you could feel warm like humansss can." He said softly.
Arzchel felt the werewolf coming and said. "I know that your there. Are you going to join us for a nice sit, or are you going to creep around in the water. Its your choice really." He said grinning, and frankly not surprised or worried.

Marie curtsied quickly to the wall left of Somni. "Thank you, Somni."
"Oh, joy. You didn't have to bring her back," Miles joked, receiving a sharp blow to his shin. "AAGH! How do you even know where I am?!" He rubbed his shin soothingly. "Anyways... brownies for your troubles?" He offered the tray to Somni. "And this guy... um... he... he's a weird-looking one, I'll say."
