"When she is ready." Kyoji said simply. He smiled down at Ayaka. "As you wish, Ayaka-chan." Kyoji said, kneeling a bit to get at eye level with her. "Do you want me to be it? Or do one of you want to?" He asked them.

Mara jumped up, excited to be playing again. The grabbed Gouki's hand. "Come on Gouki!" She said jumping off the bed.
Ayaka grinned, she reached out and tapped Kyoji. "You're it!" She giggled and tore away from him. She joined Mara and turned, waiting for Kyoji to come after them.

Kyoji gave Cho a small nod then grinned and stood up, looking to the two little girls. "Alright then, here I come!" He said before starting to chase after them playfully.

Cho had slipped out of the bathroom, but she stayed close to the door in case she was needed. She smiled, watching the kids play with Kyoji.
Ayaka began to run again. She giggled, waiting for Kyoji to tag her. "I know you can get me!" She called back at him.
Mara ran but didn't really say much save for laughter. She was still a little weary about the strangers.

Gouki grinned as Kyoji got involved too. If he was really as dark as he seemed to be then he was able to hide it well playing with the girls like this. Gouki joined Mara in staying away from Kyoji.

Mara brightened a little when Gouki joined the game again. "Think he'll get us?" she asked Gouki.
Ayaka taunted Kyoji, "You can't get me! You can't get me!" She cheered.
Cho placed her hand over her mouth to stifle her laughs. Seeing the grown up boys all chasing and playing with the girls was heart warming.

Ain's master finally grew impatient and took partial control of Ain's body, controlling his arms and legs. Dark power flowed through Ain forming a spell of shadow cloaking him. The master gave Ain a jolt to get him moving. Ain crept to a window and snuck through entering the rooms occupied by Kyoji and the rest. I REALLY hate doing this Ain thought Get over it slave the master snapped back

Kyoji grinned and gave chase after Ayaka. We did wish that Mara did not look so wary of him, but he couldn't blame her being cautious of strangers. Though some of the looks he got from Gouki gave him the impression of great distrust, but there was nothing he could do about that. He pushed those thoughts aside, and concentrated on playing with the children. As he was about to tag little Ayaka, he felt a presence nearby. A presence that was most likely not friendly, and skidded to a halt. "Someone is not right." He said to the others softly warningly. He felt the darkness around him quiver, something was there.

Ain tried to use his occular magic but it failed in the presence of both his magic and the others which scared him. He wasn't used to dealing with so much magic at once and the fact that he couldn't see what kind they had scared him more. He took off the gloves he had put on earlier to avoid contact with people and stowed them in a pocket and readied himself.

Ayaka, on the run from Kyoji stopped just as he did. Her small body wiggled with excitement. "Come and get me Kyoji!" She exclaimed as she wiggled excitedly. She calmed herself immediately when Kyoji warned them something was awry.
Mara felt fear run though her small body. She stopped running away from Gouki and ran back to him, hugging him tightly. "What is it Gouki, what's there?"
Cho thought she felt something enter the room, she hurried over to Ayaka to keep her safe. "What is it Kyoji?" She asked, "What do you sense?"

Gouki held Mara protectively as he tried to look over the room. While it was possible something could have snuck in the room. Gouki was not 100% one way or another but the mood certainly had changed as everyone was on edge. If there was an enemy they couldn't see and he couldn't hear then how was he going to protect Mara and the others.
"Everyone that can't fight retreat to the corner behind me hurry." Gouki said as he summoned his staff and extended it to make sure no one was in the corner he was telling the others to retreat into. "Don't worry Mara. I will protect your sister and mother."

Ain backed away from the weapon, it couldn't touch him unless it was magically attuned to dark magic but it was reflex, the only problem was to get the sword the spell would have to stop. Ain gulped, readied himself, and dropped the spell.

"I can keep us safe." Cho said ushering the children into the corner. "I want you two to stay right there." She said sternly.
Ayaka nodded, "Yes Mom." She said. She knew when her mother was serious. She took Mara's arm and held her close.
Mara struggled against her sister. "Gouki!" She screamed wanting to hurry to him and keep him safe. "Goukei tell them to let me go!"

Gouki's first response was to defend Mara as she was pulled away. The entity revealed themselves and Gouki followed after Mara and the others. He stood ready to defend all of them regardless of Cho's assurances.
"Nothing personal but I made a promise to Mara and I am not the type of big brother to squelch on a promise am I sis?" Gouki said as he twirled his staff before himself between the stranger and those he was trying to consider family.

Kyoji narrowed his eyes and unsheathed Kotetsu, holding it back handed and dropping into a defensive stance. "You know... it is impolite to enter someone's chambers without permission." He said to the intruder. Kyoji took note of Gouki's handling of his staff and admired what he saw, but he kept his focus on the intruder.
