So my Scarlet....what is exactly in this latest prophecy of mine?" I didn't realy want to talk about it, but it's never a good thing to be overwhelming.

I read from the thick leather jacketed book. I knew what I would summon. I would summon a full blood of my species. It would make me stronger at my own craft as well. Yes, I could easily be twice as strong as I am now. I just needed learn how to summon a familiar. Wander if Drako would teach me... I set out to find Drako. "Drako! I need your help, if your not to terribly busy!" I feel the tension from where he is, and turn tail. Whoa!

Scarlet shook her head defiantly.
"You may not want to know what it's about Drako!I don't think you would like it at all!"
When Drako stared her down she groaned in protest.
"Your suppose to take the throne within the next 100 years Drako!Somethings going to happen to this world that even death is going to have to band with the living to fight off and no I don't know what it is eather!"

I hear the atil end of their conversation and start back. What was that? Did she say death, and the living in one sentance? I stop a good hundred feet off, and listen intently, sure I wouldn't be made by either of them.

I hid my shock under a war smile, "Scarlet," I said gently, "You are acting like this never almost happened, you remember what I was going to do to keep you from the throne don't you? Well, now it seems as if thats going to happen...Under no circumstances will this change anything. I will do what I have to...and nothing will change.." I abruptly hugged her tight, pecked her on the forehead and walked away, mabey Vincent could distract me.

Scarlet stormed after Drako as he approched Vincent and cringed at her harsh voice.

I see Drako coming, and start walkiing nonchalantly. Then I see them, hello. "Uh, what you guys up to?"

"Ok fine.... that scared me....Scarlet...when you said tat I would become the next Death," At that Vincent's eyes widened with shock."all I could think of...was....me becoming like your father. Corruption is in my blood line. If I ever became like your father...I would destroy myself before it happened. I love you but..i'm afraid." I turned away from Scarlet, I had always tried to be strong for her, if I became a tyrant she would learn to hate me, and I couldn't live with that.

As Scarlet kept talking,Scotts decided to make an appreance behind Vincient who squeaked in shock at the tall dark figure.His eyes glowing a bright red.
"Drako!Congrats!It's about time!"
Scotts laughed loudly echoing thorugth the empty hanger.His grin looked sinister by the shadows of the building.

I yipe, and magic starts to come to my mind, unvoluntarily. I think of my familiar, and then I fall down. I look at the figure, then at the fox behind it. My eyes widen, whoa. "Did I just summon a familiar? And who are you? I get a telepathic message.
My name is Shur'ran. Why did you call me? I feel my mind wander, without my consent. Then the fox looks at me I feel his smile. You want me as a familiar, but you didn't summon me proparly. If it is okay with you trainer, wait, master, then it is okay with me.
I relay it to drako, and look at him. "Please?"

I scowled at the figure, "This isn't something to be congratulating about Scotts. I do not want your throne. But I have to take it....and from what Scarlet said, that implies that you might die. Now are you so happy about this special occasion? I would think not."I wasn angry. Angry at myself. At my heritage. My family line. It could burn for all I carred.

I grinned despite myself and put my arm around Scarlet's waist. "She's my fiery little scarlet that she is." Everything would work out alright...it had to. "So Vincent... what's new with you? I hear you want to try out some new technices...perhaps a familiar?" I quirked my mouth and raised an eyebrow, "I have my eyes and ears....as in Shade." My faithful raptor appeared at my side as if straight from the shadows, which he did, being a deathbringer had strange effects on familiars.
