I love them and have for God knows how long and my mom doesn't like me to listen to them because they scream and whatever. She has many reasons. My dad happened to really enjoy "Somewhere I Belong" so I don't have to worry about him. Even my brother likes them. He knows a lot of the songs. But my mom isn't very happy with my taste. After a while she has given up on making me stop listen to them but still I know she hates them. scream

my mom she really doesn`t care but my dad hate`em he says "they should like a bunch of lil kids who forget to take their drugs" but yea everytime he says someone like that I say "will at least theit better then your 80`s gay bands and your 500 year old king of rock"

My mum thinks they scream too much sweatdrop
But she really likes Numb though rolleyes and In the end, you know like the slower songs, the ones without so much screaming...

berserkboi80 I'm bored so i will make this so you guys can talk about how your parents or anyone keeps trying to stop you from listening to LP. I find nothing wrong with LP cuz they dont swear and all that crap but parents still hate it. Luckily, my parents dont do this but my friends parents do. Its sad 3nodding . I dont get it my dad loves lp question

Just the other day my dad was watching this thing on T.V. how mainstream music can have a bad effect on the kids who listen to it. That's not directed for them to listen to, that artist now-a-days give a bad influence. And I do agree, some artists are just not intended to be listend to kids of 9, 10, 12 years of age. Then he turned around and said that I shoudn't be listening to 'Lincolm Parrke'. That they have cuss words and they scream and tell you to do drugs. Seriously the old man has no clue what's he's speaking of.
And besides I'm not that mindless or stupid to be following the media. In some rap vids you see some dude slaping some chicks butt and smoking weed cause it's cool. I don't ever see myself holding some stranger's a** cheek, with the tighest of skankiest skirts, with some goddam fake grill in my mouth. rolleyes

man she spent $500 like that!
my mom thinks they are so cool n she loves their messages n the cussin makes her laugh!
i mean
she took me to project revolution n she was more hyper than me!
n she wanted to jump on stage n give chester a hug!
