{We'll be C then, Alihi! XD Post it in supports! Older Soren... you should support me too. I have none! ._.}

"I'm sure that it will be a nice story. Everything my father tells me about his adventures in Lord Eliwood's company are always so... exciting." Sue said to Alihi. She then turned to Older Soren, whom she just noticed arriving, along with Lyre. "Hello, you two. How are you today? Hm.. I wonder if the final battle is fast approaching. This month, and event are almost halfway over."

Tibarn returned to the kitchen with a fluffy towel wrapped around his hair, wearing just his pants. His wings were still dripping dry, so the reason he had not yet put his jacket back on was evident. He eyed Ashnard, grumbling, "Not this clown again," and went to sit at the table, his bare, muscular chest still shiny with a light coating of water. "Okay, so we have... a morph and a... non-morph who looks a lot like a morph... on our side. Can you get me up to speed here, before we start figuring out another raid? As far as I can see, we're just sitting here dicking around right now."

Lyre glanced at Tibarn- okay, so glanced was putting it lightly, it was more like her jaw would have been dropped open but she had more tact than that (the man was pretty!)- over the top rim of her book. She went and leaned against the kitchen counter, pushing a strand of orange hair behind her ear.

"Well, yes... Synra is a morph with actual free will in comparison to the rest, Mika is Madriana's sister, so not a morph but she had worked with them for a short time... She's too happy-go-lucky to be an evil tyrant though, so it just sort of worked out better for her to join us. Synra will stay with us as long as Vika stays with us, I'm not sure how much either of them is on dedication to actual battling anything out, they're just sort of.. stuck on each other a whole lot."

She shrugged, her tail swaying absently. She faintly recalled that Sue had said hello to her, but the hawk king stole her attention away before she was able to reply.

"Rei is the one who plans everything out... although Alihi is a tactician so I suppose her input is valued too. I think most of us are just waiting for Rei or Vaida to give the word to leave and do anything."

"A resistance! If the King is in, then so am I!" A youthful voice declared, followed by the not-so-youthful Janaff's swooping-in entry by the large (courtesy of Ashnard) hole in the wall. Not that many people knew how old the sharp-eyed Hawk was- his appearance was deceiving.
"Sorry about being late." He said, stepping lightly up to his leader's side with a less apologetic, more entertained smile. He had been lost for about two weeks thanks to a useless map, but found his way immediately after throwing it away and relying on his phenomenal eyesight instead. Now that he was finally at the party, he intended to have some fun.

The boy sighed airily, turning his head away from the nomadic girl, a bit embarrassed. He hadn't made himself a part of a group since he'd fought alongside Ike. Even then he'd been a loner. This was going to be a challenge.

"H-hello, Sue..."

[By now, you and I must be at A. Am I supposed to post in a thread for that? I don't even know what Forum it's in. ¬ ¬ ]

"Well it certainly has become more lively as of late", Stefan said as he strode in. He walked over to the counter and grabbed a couple of extra eggs and cracked them into a glass. As he swallowed the raw yolks he noticed Tibarn. "Well if it isn't the King of Hawks... We fight again it seems."

Tibarn nodded slowly, leaning back and placing his arms behind his head as he listened to Lyre recount the events of the previous two weeks. He bit his lower lip for a moment, murmuring, "Vika... a raven, and I saw a wyvern and pegasus flying on my way here. That leaves us with a grand total of four--"

His face split into a grin as he heard a familiar voice, and brightened further at the appearance of his wingman through the conveniently-placed hole in the wall. "Janaff! I was wondering whether you were ever going to show up! I was about to go outside and start juggling torches," the Hawk King chuckled, standing up and shaking his head rapidly before pulling the towel off, resulting in that messy hairstyle he always looked so good with. "Glad to have you on board, Janaff. This gives us a full airborne unit."

The arrival of Stefan also roused a grin on Tibarn's face, albeit a wary one. He was still unsure of the mysterious swordmaster's motivations in all regards, but respected him as a worthy and powerful ally. "Stefan, it is good to see you again as well."

Stefan nodded, "I look forward to fighting with you again. The power of the hawks is always impressive. It disappoints me that you never seem to take any interest in the sword."

Lyre started as Janaff made his grand arrival.

"...Someone really DOES need to fix that hole in the wall..." She wrinkled her nose as she watched Stefan down a glass full of raw egg.

"That's disgusting. And I've eaten my share of raw meat, so that's saying something." She tried to distract herself from staring at Tibarn. She wasn't going to try to touch his hair. Nope. Not this cat. Absolutely not.

"Well it's certainly going to do me more good than whatever that is the rest of you are eating..." Stefan commented as he gestured at the plates of french toast on the table.

"Well, the french toast isn't going to give you salmonella." She reached for a glass from the cabinet behind her and filled it with water.

"Why eat them raw when you could just throw them in a frying pan and cook them? I don't really get it." She took a sip of water.
PostPosted: Mon Oct 13, 2008 1:26 pm

"I could say the same about your raw meat. At least salmonella is temporary. Unlike parasites... We don't have such luxuries as to be picky in the desert." Stefan was beginning to become irritated, This conversation was reminding him of his days in the desert. The days of persecution.

"Okay, fair enough... but when you're hungry enough you aren't really picky on the hunt..." She shrugged, drinking more water.

"I suppose. I never really spent time in the desert, I didn't know that was where you were from..."

Stefan leaned against the wall, next to the hole, "Well that's where most people shunned by society have to go..."

Shifting uncomfortably against the wall, the wind sage looked like he wanted to sink right through the surface behind him. His own thoughts took a similar turn to the Swordmaster's own. His mind drifted to the steaming jungles of Gallia and just how harsh it was. He couldn't be picky, then. Even now, he rarely turned his nose up, no matter how foul the meal. Food was food. He shuddered a bit, thinking of the looks the Laguz would give him before turning away, as though he were not even there. The pains of his past were by no means gone from his mind, and he hated himself for thinking of them unnecessarily.

"Is there any of that toast left?"

He was hesitant to say anything, but he couldn't help chiming in as his stomach gave a ferocious snarl of hunger. He hadn't noticed being hungry before, so he supposed all that talk of food and his memories of nearly starving to death had made his stomach growl. Be it meat or sweet, soggy bread, it was food, and the boy would not be picky if there was something to eat nearby.
