Toole was a bit warmer to the touch then this morning when Ailes last touched his shoulder. Toole sighed; "He's still dangerous, just because he didn't get Jezabelle or Sorrow, doesn't mean some other innocent person here isn't at risk. However, you're right I shouldn't be fighting here, not my place too, Rodasia have any policing guards, or authorties to arrest him? We could talk to them so at least they are aware to keep an eye out. I can't hope he doesn't do anything, i want to make sure, but i won't fight him since you talked me out of it." he looked down to see her looking up at him and he just bent down and gave her a nice passionate kiss.

Jezabelle didn't think twice this time, she opened and closed the door behind her, and just followed Ian wherever he led her too.

Tolly opened the door and closed the door. He came to a rest looking out the window as well. "Its lovely from up high, and compliments the hard work put into it." He shook his head and leaned agaisnt the wall near the window. "A man who goes by the name Lochnivar has shown up, he's the one who cursed my first daughter, and he tried to do the same to Jezabelle preying upon her innocence. That was what the whole arguement downstairs was about, and probably woke you up. It delayed me from getting the flowers I wanted to surprise you with. I wanted to find some that mirrored the smell of roses you had when you finished your bath. I liked it, and thought it complimented you beautifully."
Tolly stopped talking, finding the courage just stood up, and facing her back he leaned foward kissing the side of her cheek with a bit of difficultly.
"I love you Ive, and I don't care how long it takes. I'm going put Isabella on her throne, hire some help to teach, and spend my time here with you learning to grow things. In time, we'll see about marriage, but when your ready I'll be here with ring and nothing to take me away."

Ailes smiled, "Mom will take care of it, i promise. well, since we're both awake, wanna go check if dad's awake?" She took Toole's hand and began walking in the direction of the inn, "Just try not to get short tempered with him... he's a very kind man." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ian brought her under the floating island and smiled, "I need to grab something i asked my mother to send me earlier... i'll be right back, okay? if anyone bothers you, don't talk to them, and if they start to mess with you, scream, and i'll kick their butts." Ian flew up to the island and began to dig at the base of his tree. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ive sipped her shot, and when it was gone she just let the glass fall between her legs and hit the ground. She took one last puff of her cigarette and scraped it on the side of the house, also dropping the butt between her legs watching it fall onto the glass below. She pulled her legs into the window and looked at Toleranth funny. her eyes were all red as well as the tip of her nose, her cheeks were a little too, but that was most likely from recent events. Ive braced each hand on either side of the open window and smirked, "Hell's fire boy, you fall in love faster than i do..."

Tolly smiled; "True, but its better than being alone. Just to know that somewhere in your screwed up day someone thinks your not an awful person. To come home from working a hard day and know that someone will not judge you, but instead give you a warm hug and a kiss on the cheek. I don't think i'm an awful person, and I don't think falling in love with you is bad choice desipite all you told me.

Toole nodded; "Might as well, no better time then now, and i need a bite to eat along with something to drink. I'll try my best."

Jezabelle stayed out of the way of people, but in the general area Ian left her in. She smiled spotting the front of the Inn, and remembered it was right below the island. "little late now Jezabelle;" is all she said to herself as she waited for Ian.

Sorrow giggled and pulled a feather out of Kaos's hair and leaned forward to give a few teasing kisses. "mmmmm...." Sorrows stomach grumbled and she blushed a bit she looked down. "shush you." She looked back at Kaos with a glowing smile.

Ive sighed, "Toleranth, there are a lot of people in the world that are thankful for everything you are, so where you get the idea that everyone thinks your awful is beyond me... I wouldn't say it was a "Bad" choice; you falling in love with me, but a lot of people are going to think you're slipping into your "Old Ways" again." she glanced over her shoulder at the outdoors and smiled, "What the hell are we doing here anyways... there's a lot more interesting things going on in town than at the peaceful confides of my home..." she walked toward her walk in closet and dropped her robe. she slipped on a new pair and walked back out, "Ive alerted my assigned guards in town today of the unwelcome intruder, and they'll have him set out in the middle of the desert, far away from the oasis, or shipped elsewhere... fair?" Ive finally noticed the flowers in Toleranth's hands and smiled, "Now, these poor babies look like they need something to drink." she scooped them up and carried them downstairs in her cradled arms. she filled a vase full of warm water and set the flowers along side it, "I'll come back in a bit to put them in water, but we should head back to the inn..." she offered her arm to escort Toleranth back to the inn, "Shall we?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ian finally found what he was looking for. there was a white thatch rag bundled up under the dirt, and he scooped it out, quickly refilled the hole, and flew back down to Jezabelle, "Here you go!" he set the bundle of thatch in her hands and grinned as he turned a light pink color, "I've been waiting to give it to you, but it took a while to get... But it's here now, so you'll take it, right?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kaos blew the feather up in the air and smirked, "Hungry are you? We should probably get dressed and get you something to eat, before i leave..." he looked at the night stand that had his silver pocket watch popped open, "Which is in another 45 minutes." He kissed her softly and sat up. sliding his black leather pants on and a white dress shirt he walked to the other side of the room to retrieve his socks and then his shoes... "I'll have breakfast up soon... Same as usual i presume?"

Tolly shrugged; "Suits me, so long as he hasn't given out any more of these bottles, and if you've a glass maker in town could we pop in long enough for me to toss this bottle in his/hers furnace."
Tolly put his hand in hers; "Ive your card is on the table." He smiled waiting for her to look at it.
the card description: Ive as the queen of hearts, sitting on Ailes bed reading to a child since tolly had no clue what Ailes looked like younger, A little cloth banner pictured at the bottom of the card held her name, and centered below her name was the card's rank the queen of hearts written in smaller words.

Jezabelle smiled; "A present, yes i'll take it, thank you Ian, and guess what? I found where the Inn is." Jezabelle turned and pointed at it, its right over there, but it stills doesn't help me figure out how I got out in the middle of nowhere."

Sorrow giggled; "Yes, same as usual, but with a twist. Lets share a meal together, even if all you have is toast, or something smaller.

Ive giggled, "I'd say i'm far from the Queen of hearts from this standpoint, but i do look to these times hoping to one day return to the peace and serenity it held." she stroked the card and smiled at the little child in the picture, "As for my "curse" when i find the right man it might go away, but i know i'm the only one who can condemn it... i'm just not ready to..." she sighed as she glanced upstairs. "Let's get going..." she set the card back down by the vase and walked outside leaving the door open for Toleranth to join her and close the door. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ian shook with excitement, "Open it, Open it!!" he shouted as he danced around her. Jezabelle looked at the dirt covered thatch bundle and pinched a corner of it with her claws pulling it back. she did the same with the other three and revealed a silk pouch. she looked up at Ian and he curled up and fluttered faster nearly bursting from the anticipation he felt. returning her attention to the pouch, she pulled the strings apart and stuck a finger in the middle to pull the bag open. peeking inside she sees a beautiful ring made of a white wood from the trees in the abyss. it was hand carved to shape a very detailed leaf, and there was also a matching bracelet. the bracelet was two wisps of wind blowing two leaves together at the front of the bracelet. Ian chimed, "I was always incredibly bored waiting for someone to take me to the surface, so i would carve a bunch of things. these two were my favorites, and i wanted to give them to you, because you mean a lot to me, and i want to protect you, so i put a charm in the bracelet that will alert me whenever you are in danger." ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kaos shuffled to the kitchen where he took out a frying pan and began his work. in no time he had breakfast ready for four, because he noticed Ailes walking in the door. He came out of the kitchen to wipe down a booth and set it for four, "Good morning my little angel, care to join me for breakfast." Ailes leaped into her dad's arms and smiled, "I'd love to! oh, Toole can come too right?" Kaos nuzzled her nose, "Of course he can, i prepared for four." Ailes looked confused, then she saw Sorrow come down the stairs, "Ooooooh, i see... Okay!" she squirmed into the booth and got ready to munch some pancakes. Kaos kissed Yuma as he passed to go to the kitchen and fill the tray with food. his watch popped out of his pocket and floated up to his face to reveal that he had roughly 20 minutes left. he sighed and brought the trays out on a cart, "Well, i might have to eat quick... only have 20 minutes left... probably 19 now..." he set the food out on the table and took a seat next to his daughter.

Tolly looked at the card as well; "Far better off then I am Ive." He left to quickly catch up to her the door closing behind him. On the table beside the flowers was a old tattered playing card, a two of spades, on it was two gravestones in the foreground side by side, in soft rain, a soaked Tolly with a hand on each gravestone, and his head was hanging down. His hair hid his face, but the short horns of his human form were clearly visible.

Jezabelle felt her throat tighten, her breath came in short gasps, and she began to cry. She held them to her chest, and after about 5 minutes she managed to speak while she wiped tears away and choked on breath. "Tha....Thank.......you"
She slipped the bracelet on, and got the ring on without any trouble. She looked at them for a little while and she looked at her clothes. "Ian, take me to your tree in Arynia, I promise not to be too long, but please take me. We'll come right back, i need to get something, and it's very important."

Yuma fought to maintain her smile after hearing how much time he had left, she ate hungrily enjoying it like a prisoners last meal, it would be a long time before she would ever taste it again, and a small part of her hated that he had to go. hated enough she wanted to fight whoever to keep him here.
Toole ate a little bit before setting his fork down; "I thank you for the meal, but there is something I need to ask you Kaos. Its no secret I love your daughter, and honestly I proposed before seeking your permission first. However, I wish to remedy my mistake by properly asking you now."
"I, Toole Bebus, ask your permission to marry your daughter Ailes."

Ive walked into the inn with a smile to see the morning regulars, and Onora was half asleep leaning on the bar. Ive walked over and rubbed her back, "Thank you love... you can go sleep now." Onora smiled and dragged herself to the back where she slept in the room Jezabelle was once in. Ive went into the kitchen and did the dishes, came back out and stocked the beverages, and glasses. she then leaned against the bar and waited. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ian jumped and jumped around in an odd pattern, "Ah! don't cry!!! i didn't mean to... i mean... " he looked around and grabbed a handkerchief from some guy's back pocket, "Here!" he found a clean side and wiped away her tears, "I'm sorry... i didn't want to make you cry." he sighed and looked at the inn, "I'll take you to Arynia, but you'll have to find someone who will get us up to the island first..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kaos paused, set his fork down, and tried to swallow. when he failed he grabbed his glass of water and gasped, "well," he set his glass down and looked at Ailes, "Do you love him?" Ailes nodded. "And you accept him for who he is..." Ailes nodded again. "You know i wasn't finished right?" Ailes giggled, "Daddy, it doesn't matter what you were going to say... I love Toole for who he is and will stick by his side no matter what difficulties we face." He rubbed his hands over his face and sighed, "See, this is why i wish i was alive..." he looked over at Yuma, "When i was living i knew everyone, their kid, their wife, and they knew me... i've been dead for the most important 16 years of, not only my life, but my children's lives, and i know no one..." He looked back at Toole, "I don't mean to keep your answer waiting, it's just that i don't know how Lucid or you act... i don't know your personalities, and i guess it was easier to let Akuma go because i'm more worried about what she could do to Lucid than what Lucid could ever do to her..." He reached over and grabbed wrapped his arms around his daughter and held her hand, "She's my little angel, she's delicate, and dainty, and i worry about her every day... especially since Akuma is now in the Abyss with me," he smiled thinking of how well Akuma has taken care of Ailes over the years, "I know Akuma wouldn't leave Ailes without knowing for sure she was safe. she would not die without her sister being in good hands. i'm sure you two will make a beautiful couple." he looked over at Toole as a few tears streamed out of his eyes, "Take care of her..."

Tolly sat down at the bar, and took stock of who was in. His eyes came to rest on Kaos holding onto Ailes. He smiled before turning back, he sighed thinking abut the card back on the table. "Ive, can i have a cup of tea extra strong, and a cinnimon stick?"

Jezabelle thought for a minute and tugged on a nearby woman's sleeve. "Excuse me, but do you know where the gateway is?" The woman looked at Jezabelle rather oddly at first; "Its down the street here, take the left and its on the edge of town sorta. the road will take you to it, but I wouldn't go to arynia Nobody is watching the gate to give directions, and the streets are bare no matter the time of day except for the occasional patrol of guards." Jezabelle nodded quickly; 'Thank you, i need to go, and have a nice day." Jezabelle launched forward at a brisk walk to follow the directions given by the woman.
However she was honoring Ian's idea as well, and stopped when she came across another person who had wings big enough to possibly support her. "Excuse me sir, can i ask a favor of you, and i promise i will not be sad if you turn me down." He looked at jezabelle a bit closer and then the sprite floating besides her. "Both of you;" He indicated with a nod in Ian direction. Jezabelle nodded; "He's with me, sort of my guardian, he goes where I go, and I need to get up to the floating Island right there." Jezabelle pointed at the island and he followed her hand to look up.
"I dunno, that is a long way carrying someone, there is a chance I will end up seeing a healer for a strain later, for 30 pieces I'll fly you up there. The going price for a good healer these days specializing in wing repair." Jezabelle counted what she had, and she had more then enough. She put his fee plus a few extra in his hand and put what she had leftover back in her pcoket.
He pocketed the money and looked at Ian; 'Seeing as you have the final say in how I proceed with this, will a cradle carry be sufficent for your charge?"

Ive walked back into the kitchen and came back out a while later holding a tray with a teapot and a tea cup with a little saucer dish under it, which had a cinnamon stick on the side of it, "Will that be all?"

Ian hissed, "carry her to your liking, but if i see any fingers roaming where they shouldn't be, so help me i'll have you splattered across the realm in a matter of seconds."
The man chuckled at the sprite's remark, "Yeah, whatever..." he cradled jezabelle in his arms and took off for the island; Ian close by his side.

Kaos continued to stroke Ailes's hair and hold her close, while Ailes herself was glowing. she was so happy she wanted to scream, but refrained and let her father continue to cradle and cry over her.

Tolly shook his head; "Your company, considering everyone else is occupied, and probably don't need me butting in right now." Tolly swirled the cinnimon stick in his tea cup. "Ive.......nevermind..." Tolly let the thought go as he took a spi of this tea.

Jezabelle smiled after he set her down and she bowed to the man. "Thank you very much. He smiled and waived as he hopped off the side to fly back down, and Jezabelle walked towards Ian's tree. "I could have gotten a ride for much cheaper back home, but I'm not in a good position to be picky. I dunno what I'll do now that I won't have enough to pay for my room at the Inn."

Toole continued to smiled, and Yuma glanced at him; "Congradulations Toole, i look forward to being there, and hopefully Arias is fixed by then." Toole shrugged; "Arias doesn't need to be fixed for us to be married. The choice of where belongs to Ailes, its her day as much as it would be mine, but yuma you have the fun task. I get to send you back to the abyss in order to pass the invitation to Kaos and Akuma."
Yuma smiled; "Alright..." Her face took on a disapproving look; "Just this time instead of blindsiding me, just give me the drops, because I want to skip the painful entrance."

heart  heart "What's the matter Toleranth?" Ive sighed as she poured herself a glass of iced tea and stuck a lemon in it. she pulled a stool around the bar and perched on it waiting for Toleranth's response. ~~~~~~~ Ian sighed and grabbed her hand, "I'm not one hundred percent sure this will work, because i don't know if my tree is big enough, but it's worth a shot right?" he went to the base of the tree where he had gotten Jezabelle's present, and dug deeper. once he finally got deep enough there was this weird light and dark purple swirl of light coming up from the ground, "When the swirl turns white and blue put your hand into the dirt and try to grab it, and it should teleport you to my tree in Arynia." ~~~~~~~ Ailes smiled, "Poor Sorrow... being thrown back and forth between the worlds of the living and dead... It almost seems unfair." Kaos smiled,"Well, i hope it's not so bad for you... it'd be very unfortunate if i didn't see you ever again." his grin faded at the thought of what Chrono had said. he didn't want it to end... being at this table right now made him feel more like a family than he ever had in his entire life.

"The impending union of Ailes and Toole. I'm truly unprepared to see him start out on his own, and I have myself to blame. So busy dealing with my hobbies and not doing what I should have been doing. Now that I don't have those things for the moment I see how much I've missed in all my childrens' lives." Tolly poured another cup of tea.

Jezabelle waited for it to change, and taking a deep breath she kneeled down and reached into the small hole to grab ahold of it. She closed her eyes, and although she felt funny. She heard sound again and opened her eyes.

She looked at Toole house, her heart started thumping, because there was a certain tension knowing what kind of trouble she would be in if she got caught here.
She got up and ran to the door and fumbled in her pocket for the key. She dropped it and had to pick it back up before getting it into the door lock. She got the door open and closed it cracking the window for Ian. She started shedding clothes as she moved towards her room.
She found what she wanted and put it on, and started tossing other stuff in a bag. She sprinted past Ian, and into Toole's room where she loaded the bag down even more with clothing she pulled randomly out of the racks of his closet. She paused to catch her breath outside of his door looking down the steps. "Ian, you think I'll make it back with all this stuff, because i don't want to hurt your trees. I can always run for the gateway, and not stop for anything. That and how would I get down from Ailes place once i got back?"

Ive chuckled, "You speak as though they're all dead..." she sipped her iced tea and licked her lips, savoring the flavor, "Y'know, it's never too late to start being a parent. Look at me; Ailes's 18 years old, and i'm just getting to be her mother." She set her glass down, "All this time Someone else has taken care of her, and now it's my turn. I get to take care of her until Toole marries her. Granted, That won't be a very long time, but i still get the time to let her know that i love her, and that if she ever need's a place to stay; My doors are always open." She rested her hand on his arm. "Toleranth, you have everything it takes to be a great parent, you just need to apply it. Look at your students; your kids could admire you just the same, in time." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ They laughed at her remark. "Gee, i never knew coming to see me was such a chore," Kaos coughed as his laughing subsided.
