Lili sat by herself, away from the rest of the group. She felt as if she didn't belong with the others. She had been on her own for so long, she had gotten used to the feeling, and now, being with others, it was quite strange. That, and she felt Holly still might be a bit mad at her for almost taking off Drake's head.

Holy felt Lili's uncomfortableness and looked at her. She tilted her head and washed away Lili's uneasiness with a wave of neutrality. She wanted Lili to feel involved, she was a part of them now.
Holly turned to Rei with wide eyes, "That's genius, Rei. I can't belive we didn't think of it sooner! Next time we come face to face with them we can lure Remus into your head and then we'll have him contained."
Roman landed heavily at an entrance at the labs. Remus staggared forward and scanned his hand against the touch pad. The door opened for them and they went in. They only had to walk past a few doors before they were stopped by a scientist who looked them up and down, and smiled at the package they held. The scientist motioned for them to follow and they did. Eventually they arrived at a heavy duty-looking door. The scientist got them through that door and others that were similar. Eventually they came to a vary contained section in the labs. There was a long dark hallway with door lingin it all the way down to a dark door at the end. The scientist went to a door numbered 667 and opened it.
"Put him in here. He'll be scanned, logged in, then put back into our control. Good work boys. You may go rest up for a little while before you're sent back out." The scientist said.
Roman threw Drake's body down on the hard floor and them stomped out- hating the fact that they'd be sent back out.

Rei nodded. "But the only thing is, is that If it goes wrong, I might get trapped with him..." He said thinking. "Alright, here's my idea, when we trap him and I loose control, wait for about a minute, and then take out the box from the back of my head. If I'm not the one to wake up my body, You'll have to kill me..." He said with a bit of gloom. "The last thing I'd want would be for him to take control of my body, or even worse, the beast..." He sighed and continued to run through how this would work in his mind.

Holly sat down next to Rei, putting her hand on his arm. "It won't go wrong. You're stronger than him, we all are. But no matter what happens I'm not going to let anyone kill you. We'll find a way to fix things if anything doesn't go according to plan. Plus, who says anything is going to happen soon? They left with Drake, " ,here her eyes showed a tad bit of her sadness before she hid her emotions again, "so they should lay off for a while. We're safe for a little bit."

"It's alright, you did what you had to do....Not like he was in control anyway." Holly said, her voice distant as she looked away from everyone.
A few moments later she stood and said, "We should get going. I'm sure Cliff has an ulcer by now."
Ivy stood shakily and nearly fell, but Holly helped her up. "Thanks. And I'm sure Cliff is having some sort of melt down by now. He's going to tear into us when we get back for not telling him we were leaving."

Rei laughed a little as he picked up Pat. "Then I guess we're off." He said as he lead the way back to the hideout. By now the sirens had seemed to have cleared off, and the Special police have given up. It brought a small smile to his face, but he still wasn't happy.

When thry all finlly reached the hide-out, only Lili walking by herself, Cliff opened the door, a shot-gun in his hands. "Where the Hell-" he started by stopped when he counted the numbers and noticed Drake wasn't there. His jaw flexed and he pushed his glasses up, "There's cots ready down in the secret basement. I figured you were out doing something dangerous, the sirens were obnoxious."
Holly walked silently passed Cliff and lead the rest of the group down the stairs. She laid Ivy down on a cot to rest and got out of the way for the others to rest also.

Rei put pat down on one of the cots and then left with holly. He took a seat at the table and sighed. "Well, I guess we wait for them to wake, and probably see whats going to happen with drake..." He said, thinking that they'd probably try the same trick again with the virus.

"They'll more than likely try to access his memories to try to find where we are...But they won't succeed. Even though Drake is trapped in his own mind now, his memories are safe. But, they'll make him like he was last time and probably make it a lot harder to get him to remember himself." Holly sighed as she rubbed her face. "He'll be our enemy from now on..." Her eyes sparkled with tears and she put her head down on her arms. She sat motionless and soundless like that for a while.

Rei walked over to holly to comfort her. "It's okay, We got him back once, We can do it again..." He said trying to calm her while thinking of a plan. "Lets just hope things aren't like before."
He wiped her tears from her face, and spoke gently. "We tried our hardest, And so did Drake, Even if he was captured, we can't let that stop us. He would want us to carry on our lives, But I'm sure he'll be back some time soon."

"To make us like him..." Holly whispered as more tears streamed down her face and she leaned her head into his hands. His hands were rough, but Holly liked that feeling against her face for some odd reason. She looked to him, her eyes locking onto his. She concentrated hard on him and let her mental barrier down so as they could mix their feelings together like they had so long ago.
((Sorry....I just feel this...impulse for there to be some sort of romance between the two. I know, I'm a freak. razz but oh well. Stop me if you think we shouldn't Ghoden.))

Alekssander gently lay down Amelia on one of the cots. However, instead of joining the rest of the conscious at the table, Alekssander sat down on an empty cot next to Amelia. He gazed up at the table for a few moments, and he saw that he had inexplicably made the right choice. Holly and Rei were sitting at the table, utterly alone and yet together. He honestly didn't know how to feel. For the longest time it had only been him, Holly and Rei. The Three Musketeers, so to speak. But now seeing this, even after gaining so many more members, it made him feel like the third wheel. He didn't know why it mattered so much to him; he had his own love. He laid down on his cot and gazed over at Amelia. Although they didn't show it very much in front of the others, there was a lot of love between the two, and a lot of emotion, especially during Amelia's rescue, that he hoped Holly didn't pick up on. Even now, he was trying his hardest to feel something different to protect himself. Before being found by the others, and even at the labs to a certain degree, he had always operated as a lone wolf, so to speak. But now, after seeing what dangers lay before them, Alekssander pondered whether he should be more open to the others, and whether or not romance was a good idea in thier predicament.
((Whoa...more than I thought I would write. But yeah, I think the romance would be something.. not necessary, but maybe something to add a little more to the story, you know what I mean?))

((Eh, every story needs some sort of mention of love, and generally I prefer the kind that at least has some sort of side-thing where love is involved. Sure, I suppose it's not completely necessary, but hey, you know me, Alex, I like me some romance. ^_* lol. I thought I'd never see you again! lol took you long enought o post back. I almost felt bad for Ghoden and I taking over the show...Oh well. You came back strong- I really like your post, though I'm going to wait for Rei to post back.))

After following the others in, Lili took a seat on a cot in the corner. She looked around the room, and what she saw did not encourage her; Rei was with Holly, Alex was with Amelia, Ivy was with Cliff, Pat wasn't with anyone but he was asleep so he didn't count...
She gave a sigh. 'Maybe if we can get Drake back I can start talking to him...', she thought with a hint of hope.
