Kiyoko listened as Renji explained what had just happened. It made sense for Lucy to be angry at rejection from Renji for a club, since that piled onto the rejection of Ray for a relationship. She guessed that Star had spilled something wet-probably water-on Lucy, which caused her to snap. " Congrats to you all; you've broken what looks to me like the unbreakable. Well, I know she's mad at me, so that's reason #1. An equality club? Pssh, good one there! Wait. Wait a minute, why were you even over there to begin with?" she asked suddenly. While she understood that he hadn't a clue who Lucy was or what had happened before, it was still weird that he'd take a liking to them at first sight, or vice versa.

"You could say it was a test of skill. Before entering the room, I noticed that she was having a hard time, and seemed like she wanted everything to go her way. So, I decided to investigate, and bumped my head into hers." Renji rubbed his head where he hit her, "I think I collided too hard though. Anyway, the moment after, she sounded like a completely different person. At first, I thought it was cause I hit her head too hard. But then I realized that she wanted something from me. The finale was because I realized that she believed that she was a queen, and the school was her playground. I felt she deserved it."

"There are two things I hate: Losers, and those that think they are invincible."

"Ohhh... that." Al frowned. "It doesn't even make sense..." He crossed his arms, acting as if he hadn't done anything. "You should've spilled coffee or something. It's hot and it leaves a stain."

Edit:

Hearing Renji's comment, he paused. "You must hate yourself a whole lot then." He said, grinning happily. It was a joke, but retribution all the same. "Just kidding, just kidding."

~...~...~...~

Adrienne shrugged. "No idea. Should I go talk to her? I mean, I don't like her ... but She is a student of ours." She looked at the door and started walking towards it. "I'll just ask her what's up."

She knocked on the door. "Hey, Lucy, are you alright?"
PostPosted: Sat Jan 19, 2008 7:42 pm

"Well, testing her was kinda cheap, but then she did the same thing to you." Kiyoko wrote out the situation aloud; it sounded like they were both in the wrong. "But yeah, NOT one you want to hang out with. She wants whatever someone else has that she can't get herself; something money can't buy for her (I heard her dad's a laywer and her mom a doctor, so that's two huge incomes). Don't mess with her; I would know." she said, pointing to the mark still below her nose.

She heard Al's comment about Renji and smirked. "Wow. Very cold there, Al." she joked, although he did have a point...."As to the coffee idea, she could file a lawsuit if she got burned though. That's the only reason I think that's not a good idea. But yeah, I'm over-analyzing it."

Shirou sighed. "Good luck to you then, soldier. She's stubborn as heck, I would know." he said. Oh so fun is literature class when she's in there: it was obvious that that girl would rather be elsewhere. And he didn't like the fact that she was a complete bully either, after seeing yesterday in the halls. And yet Adrienne was going to her, alone.....

He wasn't sure whether to stay here with Adrienne (for the sake of her safety), or head to the cafeteria. He decided to walk slowly: veeeeeeery veeeeery slowly, in case Adrienne needed some help. He walked backwards, to have an excuse for going slow.

Lucy heard someone at the door between on of her trashcan kicks; surprizingly, it was Ms. R, the math teacher. Oh, how she HATED her class; nothing but pointless numbers and forumlas that mabye ONE might be used outside the classroom and in real life, and that's about it. In other words: complete waste of time. And yet this woman was angry at her when she talked in class. Well, duh, not like she was learning anything interesting or that she needed. But yet she was down here. Why?

She sighed an angry huff as she sat on the bench across from the sinks. She fixed her wet hair as she spoke.: "Nothing, mam. Just a bad day."

"Meh, all the same to me. She may have a father and a mother that have a lot of money. I also have a lot of money, more than you could imagine, it doesn't make me better than any of you. If anything, it makes one weaker than the rest -- probably, I would be the most vulnerable at this very moment. But, who cares, it's life -- and she doesn't own that. The point is to make sure she never takes what you care about, definitely, never let her" Renji said wholeheartedly, although he was irked by Al's joke there, "by the way, being the king of losers, Al, how does it feel? Maybe we can make a club together."

"Anyway, I need to get my other jacket from my locker. So, I'll see you guys later." Renji walked out of the cafeteria. "Oh, and Al, I'm not invincible... yet."

Conall was actually slightly startled when the chaos started.
-"Or not..."
He nodded in approval when he walked over and only made a single comment.
-"I underestimated you..."
Conall listened to the following conversation after everyone caught up and lazily saluted Renji as he walked off. One person that had Conall's respect so far. And Conall couldn't help but get the feeling there was an underlying message in Renji's last comment.

Kiyoko listened as Renji seemed to preach morals to them. It was as if he was trying to justify himself, in a way, by stating the whole "I'm rich but that doesn't mean a thing." Something about this bothered Kiyoko, but she let it slide, thinking that she was being to narrow-minded.

However, that last remark or two by Renji was a bit too much. Al had only been joking around, while Renji sounded cold and quite serious. Did he just say not to take away what you care about? He was trying to take Al's pride away. Already, he was going against what he just preached, in a strange unwordable way. She turned around quickly to give that boy a piece of her mind, but he had already vanished. She mumbled a small "drat!", though mainly unheard by the group.

[Woo, character development time]

Renji walked through the hallway, thinking about what he just said. Did he say too much? Nah, it was fine; they wouldn't understand just by thinking about it up front. Although Al might, since Renji had confronted him beforehand -- perhaps, he was worrying too much. Renji arrived at his locker to hear a faint ring. Opening up the flimsy door, Renji reached for his second jacket, it was cold in the hallways so he put it on. Reaching into one of the inner pockets, he pulled out a phone.

"Ah, what seems to be important enough to call me on the satellite phone?" Renji answered.
"Well, I couldn't get to you through your handheld. So, did you find what you're looking for?"
"More or less."
"Great, you enjoy doing this don't you?"
"Mm- yeah, it does feel weird to play such a sissy character though."
"It was only a suggestion.. I still don't know why you do this though."
"Why not? I loooove seeing their emotions. Seeing them in such...despair."
"You're so sick..."
"I love you too."
"Uh.. nevermind. Just don't go over board."
"Fine." Renji hung up the phone, his sinister face had revealed itself. A crimson smile. "Now- let's find that girl."

[DUN DUN DUN... Who is Renji? Who was on the other side of the phone? Find out next episode...of DRAGONBALL Z! Lol.]

Al seemed to be a bit dazed. Listening to Renji's speech, his face darkened considerably. 'A little too late for that, eh? ' Thankfully, he snapped out of it, and grinned.

Not one to be defeated, Al called out to Renji's back, "Sure, a club sounds nice, but only if you get to be the queen~" Hearing his last comment, Al smirked and put his hands in his pockets. "We should find a good spot to sit. You never know if they'll make us sleep here."

Adrienne raised an eyebrow at Shirou and then giggled quietly at his antics. She turned back to the door. "Are you sure? You looked a little upset. You want to talk about it?" She said in her gentlest voice so she wouldn't anger Lucy.

Renji walked through the hallway, trying to remember which direction Lucy walked towards. He remembered hearing dull kicks from the entrance of the cafeteria. "I see, she should be nearby..." Renji's eye brightened, "Now... what do I do first.." Renji walked to the door of the room, but heard more than one voices nearby. Instead he hid around the back of the room, leaning against some lockers, while messing around with his cellphone. "Hmm... should I go in like before? 'Oh, I apologize for earlier! Really! I am sorry' or.. should I get straight to the point." He contemplated in the hallway while waiting for the teachers to disappear.

"I have a feeling they'll try. You know, safety reasons. Not that anyone will pay attention...they'll still try to keep everyone together. Star said, as a matter of factly. Looking around, no one was really paying attention and they were just socializing. Some were even sneaking out, going back to their original spots.
PostPosted: Sun Jan 20, 2008 2:19 pm

Conall craned is neck and took another survey of the room. As he thought, no seats. Conall looked back at everyone with a mischievous look in his eye.
-"There's some bad news, and some good news. Bad news is: there's no open seats. Good news is: I can get us some."

((renji....O.o
Lol Luc. I'd love to do that!))

Kiyoko nodded. "Good point. I sure hope not, though. It'd be way too crowded in here...." she sighed; she'd talk to Renji later. While Al had shouted back another response, it was still pointless arguing. She heard Star, and solemly agreed. "Most likely. It'll be stuffy and loud, though. I bet no one's gonna sleep..."

Kiyoko noticed as Conall came back. "Uh, d-don't do anything troublesome!" she said immediately; Celia would die if he got in trouble.

Shirou saw her giggle; hey, at least he was trying to lighten the mood! He continued to do this, but it was for many reasons. He noticed a kid duck behind the lockers. "Hey!" he called to whoever it was. "You're not supposed to be out here; go back to the cafeteria!" he sighed; he knew this was gonna happen. The Resistance.

Lucy thought for a moment as she sat in the dark empty bathroom; there were two options. She could either pretend to suck up and switch the blame, or be honest. One could go horribly wrong, though, and Ms. R. was actually sounding nice for once in her life...And she'd be stuck in here...not to mention she tried to kill Kiyoko she'd be doomed...

"Just...multiple things. This storm has brought people together, than split them up. Heh, much like my life, I suppose." she began to draw little shapes on the mirror with her finger.

Crap, I've been spotted, and by a teacher no less. I'll play it cool, for now. Renji walked out from behind the lockers towards the teacher. "I-I-I''m terribly s-s-s-sorry sir. I just need to call my sister, she's only eight years old, and I'm worried about her! I c-couldn't get a signal, s-so I hoped that I could get one in the hallway. P-please, let me call her, we don't have any parents, she's all alone, I'm ... so worried." Renji reverted back to his nervous self from before. He was still holding on to his cellphone, which was opened up like it was being used. "Please."

((I just noticed you've been using Ms. R. *whack* It's Espinosa! xd ))

Alastair had half a mind to respond bitterly to Conall, but kept face and said simply, "How?" There was a frown on his face as if he expected Conall to say something violent like scaring kids away from their spots.

Adrienne glanced briefly back at Shirou and saw the episode with the student. "No exceptions!" She mouthed, not wanting to have either of their asses on the line for being lax on the rules.

She turned again to the door, wondering where the openness had come from. "Did something happen Lucy? Want me to come in?" Adrienne was worried. Lucy actually sounded upset.
