Hah, well it was an intro post, so I spent a bit more effort on it. And there's some thing I really liked but other things I still need to fix.
..Like missing Inuki and Erin! D8 Sorry about that guys! I'm really hoping I can recover from that, don't want any skips in reality.
...Uhm, how does them being concealed by the dust sound? Think I could squeak by with that?

Concealment by dust? Depending on what you mean by concealing.

You Will Never Be A ManI'm sure you could do something like that, maybe have dust in your eye or something similar. Or you could have just been in a hurry. Unless You Are A Gentleman

Well, grandpa's car was throwing up a lot of dust, so maybe the air was still so thick with it that he couldn't see the two girls is what I meant.
..However, the more I think about it, the less likely it seems that that could be a good excuse. And I don't think that he was in a hurry either. I don't think I did a very good job of it, but Liam's a little reluctant to be here.
Huh, well this certainly is a pickle... anyone have any other suggestions? It doesn't matter how outlandish they seem, I just need something to get my brain going.

<< See this is why I've had the shrine shut down during all but the summer in prior years. I just can't seem to keep up in any way due to trying to keep up with school. It kinda drains all my energy and creativity. Still trying to put in the effort though, good dialog.

D8 I'm really sorry to hear about that. If you have any more tests/classes coming up I hope you do well on them!
And thank you for the comments Ms. Aniur, it was a post that I was both proud of, and disappointed with at the same time. You were right in how it didn't really give you a good read of my writing, I'll try not to be so... odd in my next post.
Which brings me to ask a question. Should I post now, or wait until Ms. Erin does, considering we're all in the same area?

Well, if you want to wait for her reaction and you intend on actually interacting with them, I would suggest you wait. If you do just plan on rushing past them all excited, which could easily be worked into your next post, this is fine as well. It's really all up to you and the direction you plan on taking yourself.

It only makes sense to wait until they post to see if they even NOTICE you, Like I did with Gamma. XD

Aniur, I freely admit, I got nothing planned with this character. Even the name and desciption is based on the avi I had, because I have no ideas. Everything's been made up on the fly. I think the only thing going for me so far is that when given something I can usually run with it. Is this bad? How much pre-planning is put into an rp character?
Miles, the way I'd read it, Inuki and Sylvia/Erin were off to the side (we never really specified, I don't think). So maybe your character was just so focused forward, or internally on how much he didn't want to be there, that he just missed them?

Haha! Oniko, looks like we're in the same boat with characters! I just made up Liam for an attempted RP that seems to be going nowhere. All I have is his name, 'special ability', and maybe a teensy bit of backstory. In my experience, this isn't always a bad thing. In fact, I prefer to start from scratch with characters. At a certain point they begin to grow and develop on their own, and that makes for much more interesting and original characters than pre-planned ones.
But that's just my opinion.
Oh, and I think if Erin doesn't post by tomorrow then I will. I was originally planning on waiting to see her reaction.

Your not the only one! I made Aurak specifically for this rp, and already I'm getting a decent story of him. XD

Thanks, I feel so much better. 3nodding
Anima and I seem to post pretty slow. I don't know her excuse but I like to take the time to think about my response. So, don't expect too much.

That's fine. <.< Sorry if my last comment sounded kinda snarky... I didn't mean to sound mean or impatient at all... it's really hard to get tone of voicer through typing.
Even if I didn't offend/irritate you, my comment was still bothering me.. sorry about that. ^^;

Oniko-inuki Aniur, I freely admit, I got nothing planned with this character. Even the name and desciption is based on the avi I had, because I have no ideas. Everything's been made up on the fly. I think the only thing going for me so far is that when given something I can usually run with it. Is this bad? How much pre-planning is put into an rp character? Rping this way is perfectly fine. We all have different ways to approach things and not everyone is going to tackle things the same way and be successful. If this is how you work best, then go with. Don't let some preconceived notions of what rping is to other people keep you from doing things the way you wish to. All I am here for is to make sure you don't get caught tripping all over yourself while trying to explain this wonderful thing you have trapped in your head. The only rules to rping besides sticking to the topic set by your game master or thread owner is to make yourself heard and your points clear through proper grammar.
razz
I'm also acting as the pointy stick to get you brain thinking creatively as well though.
Anima: You're doing wonderfully well. Don't let whats happening or not happening here ever disrupt your studies, they are much more important. Why do you think my grading is so few and far between? : I have a life too even if I do greatly enjoy rping here and helping you guys out.
