I stopped as she examined one of the rooms. "Eh, they're not terribly extravagant, but they tie into the rest of the complex nicely," I said calmly. I didn't say it, but I'd had posher, from trips I'd taken with my parents when I was younger to the dorms at Pokemon Tech, but I wasn't trying to complain about the rooms here - they were still pretty nice.
"Huh? Oh, yeah, that was Samurai and... a Bagon I haven't named, yet. I've actually caught a fair few pokemon since joining this group."

"Yeah. And then Miles is even stronger." The boy shuddered. "His fire is so hot, it burns -me-"

Krystal nodded with a smile, putting her hands behind her as she spun slightly, her short skirt fanning out but not enough to expose anything. Stopping, she sighed slightly.
"Do you mind if we hang out for a bit? You're kind of the only person I know other than Freya and she's gone off somewhere with her boyfriend. I hate to admit this but I'm pretty knew to all of this." Krystal said, moving her arms and motioning to the compound. She'd never been in a place so huge before. "I'll understand if you don't want to but I would like to get a better look at your Oshawatt and Bagon. Maybe they could become friend with Liz?" The blue eyed girl took a PokeBall from her belt, maximizing the size and holding it up with a smile. It was her only Pokemon, one that she had been partners with since they were both little.

Trigramatic "Yeah. And then Miles is even stronger." The boy shuddered. "His fire is so hot, it burns -me-" That was a scary thought. Very scary. But it left him to wonder a few things that was mentioned to him. Something he'd ask later. For now, this was just all fun and games. He wanted something a bit more...rigorous. Serious. He wanted to be stronger. Riolu got off of him, and Tristen made his way back up. "Riolu, can you wait for a minute?" he asked. "Ra laaa?" "Tails?" He then spoke up. "Can you and I be a little more serious now? I want to try to learn how to fight like you and Blizz and Freth can. You all are amazing and I want to try to do some of the stuff you do, but all we are doing now is wrestling in the mud, which. Well, is fun and all but...well..." He didn't quite know how to say it. Literally. He couldn't describe it.

I shrugged. Certainly not like I had better things to do. "Uh, yeah, I don't have a problem with that. Bagon's kind of a hothead, but I have other pokemon that wouldn't mind making a new friend."

"Well." This was sudden. Tails didn't expect it. But Tristen was right. Reindeer games did not teach you to kill 'bumbles. "Alright. On or off the mud field? The mud might cushion the hits."

Krystal smiled, opening the Ball. A Charmander appeared and the girl put a hand on the soft orange head. They entered Terashi's room and the blue eyed girl smiled at the Pokemon.
"This is Liz. I hope you guys can all get along." The female Charmander looked at the other Pokemon and gave a friendly wave. Well, looks like it's going to be an interesting night.

Lykas had taken the time to introduce Jira to Odd early in the morning and the three were now sitting in the kitchen enjoying a meal. Lykas was enjoying some strange meal made of soy while Odd indulged in some old fashioned bacon and eggs. Jira, on the other hand, was enjoying a rather large Pecha berry, though he seemed displeased with it, somehow.
"You know....I hate that my appetite shrank with the rest of me. I would've love some of that." He told Odd as he pointed at his plate. "But I can never seem to eat much of anything anymore." He admitted before taking another bite of his Pecha berry. In all honesty, he was lucky if he could eat more than four of the small berries in one sitting most of the time. Most people would consider that little more than a snack.
Odd laughed lightly at Jira's problem and offered him a strip of bacon anyway. "At least try it. I can't sit here and let you suffer like that." He told the hybrid with a smile. Lykas shared in a laugh as Jira grabbed the piece of fried meat and bit into it, trying his hardest to finish it before he felt full.

Samurai as enthused to meet another pokemon around his size, although Bagon took to the scene with an air of apathy. Kind of what I expected of him anymore. I released Sunny the Swadloon and my unnamed Drillbur and let the play with Liz the Charmander as well. I didn't know Darmanitan or Scrafty that well, yet, and didn't think it was wise to trust them with young pokemon like that, given how little I knew them.
Samurai and Drillbur were intent on showing off their weapons; Samurai's scalchop and Drillbur's claws, in at attempt to gain Liz's favor, it seemed. Sunny was much more peacable, as she was just happy to be in the presence of another female. Given that she was the only girl in my team, that was understandable.

Krystal watched from her spot on Terashi's bed as Liz was bombarded by the blond boy's Pokemon. It was pretty funny seeing Samurai and Drillbur show off their weapons, apparently in attempts to gain the female Charmander's favour. Liz, however, seemed quite taken to conversing with Sunny though she did give the boys a bit of attention.
A long strand of soft, dark brown hair slid from behind Krystal as she turned, setting her sapphire blue eyes upon Terashi with a smile.
"Seems like they're getting along pretty well. Your Oshawatt looks pretty strong, especially for still being in his first form." She commented, being honest. She also wanted to pick up Sunny and pet her but resisted. It was just that she looked so well taken care of. "Do you make their food yourself?"

"Every once in a while, when I feel that they've earned that extra something special," I told Krystal, pointing to the potted berry plants growing on the windowsill. "Usually, I just feed them whatever berries have grown from my garden. I earn berries from some of the missions that I help out with sometimes, and I grow them here, in my room. There was this one time I experimented with cooking berries in a stew, though, that turned out REALLY well. Everyone who tried it seemed to fall in love with it. I don't think anyone's asked me for the recipe yet, though, but they may have. It was a while ago when it happened, and my memory isn't always perfect..."

Krystal nodded in understanding, turning her attention back to their Pokemon. Liz was looking a little frazzled and Krystal couldn't help but laugh a bit.
"Well, if I manage to get accepted here then you'll have to make it again sometime. I'm sure Liz would like that. You know, this is our first time being around so many Pokemon at once. It's because there aren't many trainers where I come from." She explained, realizing that, really, there weren't a lot of Pokemon in this room but still. Other than her and a couple other kids, trainers were pretty few and far between back home.

I looked back at Liz as she said that. "Where are you from?" I asked her.
"I'm from Castelia City, and there are a lot of people with pokemon there, so I'm kinda used to being surrounded. By humans and pokemon alike. I wouldn't know what it'd be like to not be around pokemon..."

Krystal blinked, looking back at Terashi before realizing that she hadn't provided that information.
"Oh right. We're from Three Island, just west of Bond Bridge. It's okay if you haven't heard of it before, it's a little obscure." She smiled at him before sighing slightly, leaning back on her hands. "It was quite a trip here, I tell you. The only useful place the ferry goes to is Vermillion City."
