Yae was speachless as Diamond went off on a rant about the importance of books. Her eyes rolled in return. "Like I need you to tell me how important books are."
She glanced over at Akio now, annoyed that he was trying to block their path. "It would seem the obvious answer was correct. I was just wondering why he didn't steal something more valuable than a pre-genin level text."
Yae didn't think she was a suspect, but felt a slight compulsion to help clear her own name. "I wouldn't give any of the books in the academy a second look, let alone go through the effort of stealing one," that was sort of a lie, since she had been considering taking it from Akio. Reflecting on that point, she realized her decision not to steal it had been convenient, since she would have been trying to steal something that wasn't actually there.
The orphan gave a haughty laugh, like an adult laughing at the foolish mistake of a child. "I don't know why you guys are getting so worked up over it. Sure she stole your little book, but the academy has plenty more." She didn't have evidence, or even much reason to believe that Diamond had stolen the book. Yae just wanted to instigate. The idea of an argument between students was entertaining, especially if she wasn't involved in it for a change.

Diamond would declares with a smirk as she saw that the girl had in fact taken up the call to say that she wasn't the thief. Once more she was looking to distract from the fact that she was actually the one whom had done it. And Yae had given her a lot of ammunition to work with.
"I just explain the importance ....of those sort of books, and you still seem to be trying to down play it's value even after you said that you know." "Why, we are pre-genin, so a book like that is more valuable than a higher jutsu book to us right now." "Though tell me again, how you know it's a pre-genin book?"
"And, you even seem to know where the book came from ..like you were watching and looking for a chance to take the book." "Though maybe it's a guess ....but I don't think you would claim he stole the book if it was just a guess."
"So, tell us, did you steal the book from him, Yae?"
Diamond would ask directly. Seemingly making a second attempt at asking that question and trying to give all the evidences and possibly of theft over to the girl.
Diamond moves back and away from Yae as she crosses her arms. The girl didn't seem to have any problems being tongue tied around them, and she was definitely using it to her advantage now.

Yae grimaced at that last question. Why was this happening to her? The other two were supposed to be fighting. Upon getting moved from her last class Yae had been told by the academy that she risked facing expulsion if she continued to fail at getting along with her fellow students. The best thing to do would have been to ignore it. There was little reason to suspect Yae of the crime.
However, she was now too angry to simply let it be. Sure Yae had implied that Diamond stole it with little actual reason to believe this. But now Yae was certain Diamond had taken it. Her desire to deflect the blame to Yae had, in Yae's mind, all but proven her guilt. That was the cause of the orphan's sudden, intense anger; it was the fact that she was being blamed by the guilty party.
"First off, Diamond," Yae stressed the name, remembering that it had been a sensitive topic. "I assumed it was a pre-genin book, since it came from our classroom. I know it came from our class, because that's where I saw him take it. My knowledge of the book isn't the slightest bit suspicious."
"Second, the value of a book is subjective. Like you said, it's worth more to some people than others. Since the book is from the academy it's probably some dry, how-to instruction book. Perfect for an airhead like you," that last part, the meaningless namecalling, was quite a bit louder than the more sensible part of her speech. It was almost a shout, and if Yae couldn't watch her volume they would risk alerting the sensei who lurked in the nearby ramen shop.
The book was also meaningless to Yae because chances are she had already read it. She had made a point of at least skimming through most of the academy's limited inventory. However, she wasn't a big fan of non-fiction, and never really spent enough of her concentration to benefit from any instructional readings.

Diamond waved a hand dismissively of the name calling. She had been called worst than air head in her life, and since she wasn't blonde it was a pretty weak bit of name calling at that. She heard her voice get louder, and Diamond had to admit it worried her a bit as she decided it was probably best to work on calming the girl down than allowing her to get hysteric.
"Yae, you are making a scenes."
The girl hisses.
"It's not all that important, if the book really is as unimportant as you say ...simply return it." "I mean really ...it's not worth all this grief." "If you took it to return it back to the school or give it to sensei ...you can simply do that after lunch."
"I am sure that he ...."
Diamond actually turns and gives Akiko quite a stare.
"...isn't going to make that big of scene over it either ...as long as it's returned back where it was taken." "Since, you know, and he knows it not big deal ...I just want to have lunch."
"Let's just drop this entire mess ...my adopted parents are shinobi, and if possible I don't want to shame them by acting a fool out in public."
Diamond ends her statement there as she looks over at Yae with an dangerous glint to her eyes.
It was strange how she said it ...almost like a challenge.

Ryuu couldn't really find a real, logic answer for her question. Why would the Hokage seal him, there could be many reasons, but none was discussed with him. The only thing he remember, was the fact that the Hokage always told him that a day not so far away he would become the savior of the village.
"I guess Ken-sama wanted me to be here...when the time to save the village came..."
His eyes moved to the side to look at a wall before saying with a more worried look now showing on his face:
"As for the other Ryuu...he is alive...and more powerful than ever...also...if Kokucho is not within me then,..Ryuu most have unified him while i was in temporal stasis...oh...god...I hope i can stand to the Hokage's expectations of me...still...need not to worry as I said...I will repay you one way or the other."

It took every ounce of her restraint to keep from yelling at the top of her lungs. Yae wasn't sure what to say anymore. If simple logic couldn't convince Diamond that her attempt at passing the blame was useless then what could?
Yae closed her eyes; she was starting to feel dizzy from lack of food. She put her palm to her forehead and let out a throaty, humorless chuckle. It sounded like Diamond wanted to fight. While earlier Yae had convinced herself she would accept a challenge at the academy, she certainly wasn't going to fight in the middle of the street.
She stopped shaking her head and glared at Diamond with a new level of contempt. "This conversation is over," in her mind it was, because she said so.
"You," she addressed Diamond with a bossy tone and a point of her finger, "don't mention me and that stupid book in the same sentence!"
Her attention turned to the boy blocking the way to the ramen shop. He hadn't done much to incite anger in Yae, but she gave him the same threatening stare and the same demanding point. "You, get out of my way!" Yae had shouted her last two demands, and if the argument hadn't already created it a scene it certainly had now.

Diamond actually shrugged.
She didn't care if Yae consider herself ending the conversation ...as long as it ended. It was better that way, and she was a little smug inward, because she still had the book and to be quite honest ...she had still managed to pledge her innocents. A thing she wouldn't have had to fight about in the first place if Yae hadn't decided to point the finger at her to begin with, and she couldn't help noticing the contempt in her voice.
She wanted to laugh in the girl's face, but knew it was better not to.
If you point a finger at someone ...please be aware that you will have three fingers pointing at yourself.
Diamond had made sure that it had gone that way. That when Yae had started to point fingers at her, she had made it a point to make sure that that there was three fingers pointing at her ...even though she was right. She had no right to snitch on her ...if the role had been reverse ...she wouldn't have done that.
She would have gang up with Yae against the half baldy and later asked the girl about it in private ...as soon as she can get her alone. It was beneficial not to make enemies unnecessary nor to get yourself caught up in childhood fights. But, then again ..Yae was horribly honest, and Diamond had to wonder what sort of ninja that would make her ...when she wore her emotions on her sleeve. Did she think poorly of the girl for the attempt, no, not really.
Yae hadn't lied, and she hadn't done anything truly wrong. But that didn't mean that she was going to allow herself to be caught so easily as she watches Yae go for the direct approach while she would decide to go for an easier entrances as she could imagine the trouble that this entire scenario would cause.
She went for the open window ....as she hop through.
Finally she could get something to eat ...as she would look for their sensei and immediately regret her own haste.
"Sen-sei ....Felix-sama."
There was way too many honorifictions there, but she couldn't help herself. As she bow lightly to him before taking the closest seat where they would be eating that was furthest away from him.
The girl would simply point to the menu as she points out the food that she wants, Sapporo Miso Ramen Soup.

In her uproar Yae had failed to notice that Akio wasn't really blocking her way. He had stepped in her way, but getting into the shop was only a simple matter of going around him. The ramen shop, she could see now, had an open front.
Yae decided it was best not to wait for the mohawk kid to respond to her demand. He didn't seem like the type that followed commands willingly. Besides, she had shouted at him with little reason, and there was a good chance he might shout back. She didn't need more drama to deal with.
Taking a few steps away from Akio she pushed aside one of the character-bearing curtains as she stepped into Ichiraku Ramen. Yae had felt stupid for getting upset at him for nothing, especially now that she was passing by him.

It seemed to be quicker going ....exiting the place than there was to getting there. The streets were less crowd, and maybe that had to do with the change of time, or maybe the fact that she was now going with the flow of traffic instead of against it. The girl was in a better mood considering that she no longer had to be worried about classmates, and with her sensei still left behind ....she wasn't shaky on her feet either.
She almost reached for that book to pull out without a second thought, but still a thrill of caution stopped her. She had fought saying that she hadn't done anything wrong, and she didn't want to go against that now. Especially when she had pretty much gotten away with it so far.
No, she would be at the academy soon enough, and thus in silences she slip back towards the academy.

Diamond had never thought a building could look so beautiful. After all the drama at the Ramen place ....the thought of having time to take out all her frustrations on something made her footsteps lighter somehow. She wasn't quite there yet, but she wasn't that far, and as the crowd was reduce to almost nothing ....
For whom but an academy student would have use for the academy? Unless you were a sensei there wasn't that many about, and the girl had to wonder how long it would be before the close of the day happens and they were all told to go home.
Though she would work hard until then ....as she thought about Yae then.
She had never once suspected that she would be a pain the butt, and one so willing to put the blame on others. Surely in her place, she would have accuse him of dropping it. Though her mind spun with those thoughts she was quick to get rid of them.
THere was no point in beating a dead horse.

Akio hung back as the two girls ranted at each other about the book. Internally he fumed at how the situation had gone out of control but externally he tried to keep a calm expression on. He regretted taking it now as what had he been thinking honestly? It wasn't like he could have read it during lunch time and they would be going back to the academy anyway. Honestly, he couldn't believe they were ranting at each other about it and trying so hard to be so self-righteous. He took the book, what was it to them? He wanted the book back, because he wanted to be sure that he could read it whenever he wanted. Tuning back into the conversation, still standing in their way, he smirked and folded his arms. Airhead, huh? At least this argument was entertaining.
Yae suddenly turned and shouted at him however and Akio started a bit, before shifting slightly. He didn't want to piss off this girl any more than he had to or had already (which was probably a fair bit). Meanwhile, Diamond had disappeared somewhere, but Akio didn't care about the book anymore. If she had a shred of decency, she would return it, and maybe the academy would have extra copies anyway. He lingered outside the store for a few moments to calm his temper and avoid his classmates for as long as he could. This encounter had simply taught Akio that most people just weren't worth interacting with. After he had calmed down a bit, and figured that enough time had passed, he stepped into the ramen store too. Hopefully his teacher would still be there ready to buy him lunch. Or that at least the ramen store guy would give him some.

Inechi Shironaegi  Hp: 8/9 Cp: 2/4 MHp: 9/9 Having missed half of his first day at the Shibobi Academy Shiro did feel a little disappointed. He hadn't even met his sensei yet either which was definitely a downer. On the flip side he had learned the twelve hand seals along with the Bunshin no Jutsu. Plus he was also teaching himself the Henge no Jutsu, which apart from the stamina requirements was extremely easy. So the day had it's ups and downs but Shiro wasn't ready to quit yet. When he got home Shiro planned on finishing his Henge no Jutsu training so that when he returned to school the following day he'd be able to impress his teacher with his self taught techniques. Just wait, I'm going to surpass Senju Tobirama and become the Hidden Leaf's #1 white hair with red eyes shinobi! he cheered to himself as he walked down the streets of the Hidden Leaf village to one of the many forest gates. Rhaim walked slowly through the streets of the village with his hands dug deep into his pockets. The boy let his eyes relax a bit ahead of him since he hadn't seen much of the light of day and it was quickly fading. With shops and homes beginning to close up for the night, the teen made a direct path towards the platoon barracks. He still had to report in that he had no clue where Felix was. The which he was in no way excited about doing. With each step in the direction of the unit building, the shinobi grew more and more disappointed in himself for having taken his attention away from the younger boy for so long. The incident was just one more bit of proof to him that he wasn't ready to be promoted anytime soon.

Rhaim entered the building to find that there were more than the usual number of members actively moving about. Despite the normal look of those on the streets of the village, the soldiers in the barracks seemed to be in a heightened state. Before long the teen found his immediate supervisor and gave the message that he had lost track of Felix. To his surprise the woman already knew the information and the reason for the others in moving about like ants was because of that fact. After some belittling comments about his own inabilities she told him about the entire situation of an outside infiltration and two shinobi leaving the village with that person. Apparently it was still unclear as to where the intruder had come from or why Felix and Travis had left with them. All of the reports from surveillance and eye witnesses was that the two Konohagurian boys had left on their own accord.
The Nara was truly puzzled by the information dump that he had received. Since he had nothing to offer in the way of intelligence about the intruder or Felix, he was released for the night. There wasn't much that could be done given the village's current siege situation and upon a second look he noticed that all of the ninja moving about the area were Chuunin rank or higher. With a sigh the young boy left the place and headed home to think about what he had just learned.

[super time catching up, go! sorry about me taking ages and us never being on at the same time, myr >< change of plans: i'm gonna just rp heading back to academy and then enter into the next day. that's okay, right?]
Trudging out of the ramen store, Akio immediately headed straight towards the academy on the most direct route possible. He noticed Yae following him and slowed so that they could walk together. However, apart from that, he did not engage her in any conversation. Instead, he thought.
Since arriving at academy he had progressed at a moderately impressive rate. Polishing off handseals the night before even attending academy and learning the clone jutsu and transformation jutsu on his first day. However, it seemed like he'd hit a brick wall. Maybe he was just taking a break or something, but he hadn't been able to keep up his learning pace into the third day. He wasn't feeling the vibe of breezing smoothly through his studies at all today. Perhaps it was seeing many of his classmates surpass him - I mean come on, Felix? That tall quiet intense guy who thought he was better than everyone else? Whatever it was, Fudou vowed to focus more in the afternoon and maybe finish that book he'd been reading too. He still had his written assignment to complete after all.
