She laughed then, "Shameless!" She accused, not sounding upset either, "I'm thinking I might find myself another job, then I'll find a little place of my own, a studio apartment maybe..." She rolled her eyes up to think, "What do you think?"

Tara looked up at Jack and grinned the old Sulla grin. What a dangerous move, "Well...we can do something that you don't need either.." she said, her fingers lightly playing with his fur.

Dorien shook his head, "Those things are not worthy of you. You are royalty and will be treated as such." He looked out of the window and eyed the area, "The should be an area in this city for for you, but if not, I can always create a place until the empire is returned to its former glory."

She gave a subdued laugh, "Dorien, I don't mind living here and I dont' need a palace. I'd feel akward, I didn't grow up in or near a palace and I like working, it keeps me busy, it's productive, and it's fun." She paused, seriously considering what she'd say next, "I was wondering....maybe in between working here and my new job I want to find....you could teach me to fight."

How very tempting. He moved quickly and in the blink of an eye, she was in his arms and he was walking, "Not yet, Lovely Tara. Not yet." He winked down at her, "I don't think my manly pride can continue to bear the defeat at your hands so we must remedy this asap!" He declared dramatically as he made his way back to the city.

'It was a mere suggestion.... I'mlonely in there Troden... and I missed you...' Her face left off a little worried looked. Her hand fell and wrapped around a glowing item. She looked at it and smiled, 'I still have this.' Bell said taking off the necklace and showing him.
Shadow turned around, 'I'm waiting for you to get off your mood, I could be productive and eat while your in the ranting process.' He exaimed.
Jen smiled and ran to hug him, "I probably shouldn't get so mad. You know we should talk, I think it was a bad idea to show you my friends." Shadow nodded as she lifted from him.

Dorien frowned slightly, only making his human appearance all the more intriguing, "I understand..." he said. He was sure that Magnolia wouldn't want a palace either way. He had meant a home much lik ethe one his her mind, nice and with the evlen culture, but he didn't say anything abou tit further. At the mention of her fighting Dorien nodded, "You will need it as the war grows. I am not an easy teahcer." he warned.
That was an understatement. All of his students could see their life flash before their eyes at the end of Dorien's training sessions.

"My dear, you underestimate my self control." He replied almost snootily, "If I'm goign to do this, I'd like to do it the right way." He leapt up easily with her still in his arms so that he wasn't walking the streets looking some beast that's kidnapped a maiden.(( BOOYAH! )) She raised a brow, "I would be a fool to think otherwise." She replied the wriggled until he set her down so she could finish eating, "You sure you don't want some?" She was simply teasing him now.((I sorry I gotta go, I'm expected at home now. I'll be on tomorrow! ))

Dorien's grin slowly disappeared after the question, "That is not funny..." he asnwered, giving her his evil looks again. He may care for her, but that didn't mean he wouldn't get annoyed by her.

"Okay, okay, I'll leave you alone." She was grinning and didn't look in the least bit contrite. She tore at the bread bowl, munching on the chowder soaked bread happily, "Do you wanna go job hunting with me later?" She asked.

A maiden...funny. The last time she was able to call herself that was before the war after the Ten left. She held onto him tighter as he lept to the rooftops and grinned once again, "Such a gentleman..."
Tien had luckily slipped out of the building, getting well away from Dorien as he began to search for Jen. He had wondered where she went, but didn't have time until now, Jen...where are you?

Bell looked at the necklace again and her shoulders came up to her ears, 'I do not know what happened, all I know is I have it.' She stood up and looked at the black abyss.... 'Can I stay in your head?'
Jen closed her eyes as she heard Tien calling her, "Shadow I have to go... we shall talk later."
Shadow looked at Jen and laughed, 'You really think I'm going to leave you... again?'
Her eyes reopened this time white, 'I'm... here.' She answered back with a picture of the alley and other surrounding areas. "Well if you try anything I swear, I don't care how long we've been friends, but it will be your head in my hand... not attached."

Jen looked at Tien and smiled, "Oh... Shadow."
'Another Sulla....' Was all that came out of Shadow.
Jen shoot a look at him and then back at Tien.
Bell laughed, 'Oh this will be... now what do you have in here?' She said as she began to walk deeper in his mind with a large smile on her face.
