Ash's face changes to one of mock excitement.
Oh s**t! I forgot! You said you were starting to care about me last time we talked! Damn...I guess someone would care...turning to Zac... sorry, can't murder me...BH would be sad and we can't have that!
Ash smirks slightly at the comment about his smarts. He had forgotten he had told her about this already but there was still a way out.
Well...I know military s**t...not normal people s**t...I could tell you damn near anything about most modern military maneuvers and s**t but chicks normally find that s**t boring though...
Ash then looks over at Zac again and actually looks a little saddened.
Ah come on Zac! Dont' strangle me! I am a nice guy really! I'll prove it!
He held his hand up as if to wave to Zac and Keira could see a thin flash of red light pass over his eyes and vanish. Soon thereafter, Zac might find her hangover is going away and her mind is clearing but it happened much too quickly for it to be just the Aspirin. But as soon as he did this, he heard another call.
He turned back to Keira with a strange look on his face.
Well s**t! Do something nice and no one is nice to you! I gotta go...duty calls!
As he says this, Ash's figure vanishes and Keira feels her body grow cold for a moment then back to normal, the fire dies down in the fireplace a little.

With her head still leaning back against the couch Zac doesn't actually see Ash leave, but feels the lose of his presence, as the room get a little colder. In that same moment, she can feel her head getting better, and looks up surprised. The pills couldn't be working that fast, and wonders if it had anything to do with Ash's comment about him being nice. She'd have to ask him when he got back. She was a little happy though that he was gone, if only so she could talk to Keira alone about last night.
I'm kind of glad he's gone...but only so we can talk in private. I don't know if I really want him to know what happened, especially as I'm starting to rememner some of it.

*Keira smiles at Ash and what he says as she sits down again. It was true though,, she did care. Then again, she cared about everyone so he wasn't that special as he may think*
Well...I suppose you are right. I suppose I will never get to have an intelligent conversastion with you. Not that it matters really! I am not that intelligent myself heh.
*Keira watches the desply in a bit of aww and smiles. She liked when Ash did things like that, but her smile soon faded when he says that duty calls. She sighs and then siles sweetly as he vanishes. He skin was now cold again and she looked around wondering if she could here anyone calling for help again. When she heard nothing, she turned back to Zac and waved her hand as if to tell her not to worry about all this*
Sorry? Nah. It's my job. As for what happened last night. I uhh well..l long story short, you crawled everywhere, bumped your head, kissed Hikaru about I dunno like at least 3 times, and looked into his soul as well as Synge's and I. Heh.

The crawling around and bumping her head she remembered now, and sounded like normal drunk people stunts. It was the kissing Hikaru and the soul bit that worried her. Especially the soul part. She looked at Keira rather nervously as she bit down on her bottom lip and looked about before speaking in a whisper.
Explain the last two. The kissing Hikaru, and the soul business?

Well, I believe you kissed him and told him that it would help his soul or something like that. I am not quite sure since you were kinda rambling on. You kept mentioning him hiding behind a mask and such though. Then you kissed him I think two more times. I am not sure what those ones were for. Then I saw you do this weird kiss on him. You kissed his nose, forehead, cheecks, and then his chin. Oh and you also told Synge and I about our souls and I think you really freaked out Hikaru with in since he was going through a lot last night. Although I know he kissed you back everytime. Heh. Typical Hikaru...Oh and you mention Ash and I. Damn you heh!

The more Keira talked the worst Zac felt, especially since everything was coming back. She remembered kissing Hikaru, and doing the ritual her mother had taught her, as well as telling everyone that she could see souls. Her hands immediately went to her faceas she groaned.
I can't believe I told you guys that! I worked so hard to keep it at bay, and wham in one night I ruin everything!
Keira could tell from the sound of her voice that the only thing that really bothered her was the telling everyone she could see souls.

I uhh well...you did have a whole bottle of Tequilla you said. It's understandable. As for the souls thing, sorry it had to come out the way it did. It happens when you're drunk. Trust me...I know sadly enough..But no worries though, if you want it kept on the hush hush, I won't say anything...and I know Synge won't either. Hikaru I am not too sure of, but I believe he won't say anything...

Zac frowned as well, angry with herself, drinking was no excuse, she should have had better control.
This isn't the first time I've been drunk and I didn't spill the beans then. I should have had better control.
She though about something then, wondering why she had spoken up, and remembered Hikaru from last night.
He must have really been in pain for me to have said something to him.

Yeah. He's had his heart broken for the secong time now. Who wouldn't be in so much pain you know? His spirits were lifted a bit becuase of you so be happy for that...

Oh that's to bad, but I guess that is something to be happy about. That I made him happy.
Zac remembered something else from last and looked at Keira, wondering if she should say anything, and decided to just dive in.
Keira...you can't have them both. Ash and Hikaru....you'll have to choose.

What's there to choose? Hikaru doesn't want me and I know this. Ash...well...I like him, but I don't know where it's going. It's not a matter of choosing though you see.

Just when Keira couldn't feel any worse, the fire in the fireplace leaped out of the hearth a little and Keira's skin got hot, cold and then normal again. However, nothing else seemed to happen.
(( Just as a note, only Keira will currently feel the temperature change...sorry but Zac can't. Now, she might feel the presence of someone else but it would be faint until he makes himself known. ))

Zac tried to go about this as best she could, choosing her words carefully.
Hikaru......it afraid of getting hurt, so he hides behind his flirting, to keep from getting hurt. I don't know if it's that he does not want you, but I do know he doesn't want people to hurt him, the real him.
Anyway Keira, the fact is you want him, and with the way Hikaru is right now, he may hurt you again.

*Keira turned and watched a little fire jump out of the hearth and she felt rather hot. She looked around frowning and then felt really cold. She shivered a bit and then she was back to normal. Maybe she was getting the chills she though, but also her mind shot to Ash and his fire tricks wondering if it was him while turning back to Zac and listening to her words.*
Well it won't happen since that ship has sailed. He can't hurt me as bad anymore so it's ok.
*Keira sighs wondering what she really wanted*

Ash had hit the jackpot, for some reason he knew that making himself go unknown would work out to his benefit this time. He still kept himself concealed but couldn't help but feel Keira wasn't being true to her own heart.
