*With a smile K pressed his feet against the side of two rising spikes,using them for support.Noticing the tendrils he leps off the spikes and grabbed one in each hand,swinging upside down and pressing his feet to the ceiling he bent his knees then sprung.Flipping and landing on his feet on the floor again,a few feet away from both the spikes and tendrils.*
Interesting...a little too slow though..also,Wood is rather fragile.

Shadow laughed at the remark as he looked around and said I can speed everything up if you want. Also in this environment I find it to be rather...useful.

*With a grin K lunged forward at shadow,having had enough of these games.Just as he closes in for a punch at Shadow's gut he vanished and reappeared where he had been before,except now he had two orbs of dark energy in his hands which he threw forward at shadow,The orbs tore through the spikes on the ground splintering them as they headed for their target.*

Xol's were far more impressive. Shadow commented dryly as he absorbed the dark energy with his essence and used the power to in turn cause the earth beneath and around K to form foot long spikes of wood with rock at the core and shoot them upwards towards the cieling at high speeds.

*Pretends to look hurt as he quickly steps away from the spikes,watching them rise the look on his face turns to boredom.*
No wonder you can't beat Xol...any idiot can sidestep some damned spikes....
*With a sigh he takes a few more steps back.Focusing his mind so he can be ready to charge something up and summon it without having to take time and get hit.*

((Uhh...I need to know the dynamics of these spikes sweatdrop I mean,They could be covering the entire floor,2 feet,four feet,150 ft blaugh Doesn't make a difference to me,I just have to know.But,either way KB can easilly outstep 3 feet.))

Shadow decided that it was about time to stop playing. He stepped away from the wall and held his quarter staff diagonally across his body with his right hand next to his face and his left by his hip. He would see what K had to offer.

((No problems,It's partially my fault anyhow.And,I may have to do dishes soon,If so I'll tell you.I'm sure if that's the case we'll get another chance to continue anyhow.But for now,I'm going with flow.))
*He raises a brow as he sees the staff.Closing his eyes he takes a moment to summon a Scythe,holding out his hand the shape of it shimmers into being,then is sold in his hands.He smiles and gives it a test slice through the air.Taking a second to appreciate the work.Snapping back to the moment he moves at shadow,bringing the scythe up Vertically aiming at Shadow's crotch to slice from there to his head.*

Shadow stepped forward using the lower end of the quarterstaff to knock the scythe's blade to the right he lunged forward pushing off his right leg and using the body of the staff to force the handle of the scythe out of his way. He planted his left leg and used his forward momentum to bring his right around and aimed a knee at the front of K's right knee.

*Frowns and pushes off the staff,bending his right knee and tilting his leg to the side so that the kick with hit but land harmlessly,at the same time he let's the swing of the scythe pull itslef high into the air in a full curve.Letting it go for less then a second he catches hold of it again in a more comfortable way,the blade coming down right at Shadow's leg as he kicks.*

Shadow tilted the top of his own staff to catch the blade of the scythe on it's under side where it met with the body. He then used his magic to cause a dozen thin spikes of wood each about 6 inches long and one inch thick shoot from the body of his staff at K's torso.

*KB sprung away from shadow,pulling the scythe off the staff and in close to his body in a spin.Kinda like a bladed top he spun away from shadow,then landed a few feet away holding the scythe ready.Feeling something liquidy he glances at his stomach to see that 4 of the spikes had lodged themselves in him. With a frown he tore them out one by one,grunting in pain at each one. The other spikes lay scattered about,knocked away by the scythe when KB spun. The wounds caused by the spikes slowly started to heal themselves over as he waited for Shadow's next move.*
Hmmmmm.....Interesting..That kinda hurt....

Yes truly interesting. Shadow said before pausing. There was a odd feeling of elation filling him. He frowned trying to figure out what was going on. Suddenly he realized that since his encounter with Wolf he could sense part of the other near him. Shadow scowled fiercely and said to K. We'll finish this later. I have someone to kill just now. With out bothering to wait for a reply Shadow began to sink into the floor. Before he disappeared though a blade could be seen emerging from the end of his quarterstaff. It was gleaming from the toxins spread on it and serrated.
((Sorry I have a party to throw and just realized I didn't get enough drinks and need more cooking oil. We'll finish this sometime though.))

*Nods and leaves to go perfect a new tactic inspired by Xol himself.As well as retrain several old tactics he found quite fun.*
