I should have assumed you're lack of real strength would have you relying on the souls of the weak....How smart of you..use something you can beat to beat something you can't..I hate tosay it,But..it's not a good idea....Sure those souls may entertain..but that's all...

Shadow continued grinning and says in reply. These souls come from the weak and the strong. They do entertain so and I'll use whatever tools neccasary to win. But that is irrelevant old man. I admit that I am not much more than 80 years old but don't you think calling everyone boy is a little cliche?

Shadow's gaze travelled briefly to Waker. Some day soon he would have all that he needed and would then do what he felt. But until he found it neccasary he would play by the rules. After that though.....

You might be surprised to know I am a BC member...in fact,I was one of the first when the BC originally began..I can take both of you..and..I will if I have to...You're both young and stupid.That's evident.I'm not scared of a boy with souls on a leash or a pathetic traitorous punk who lies wounded after fighting..one...dragon..please...hardly a threat.

Shadow yawned and said in a soft voice. Like so many other's you talk alot and do little. What matters it to me if you are an original member or not? I'm here so that I may further my own agenda. I won't be here for long but don't under estimate what I've learned over the decades. It may not be as much as you may know but I gaurentee that you aren't nearly as strong as you think when it comes to dealing with me. Shadow shrugged and continued leaning against the wall. It was amazing really he hadn't bothered to move yet and already this other creature postured so.
((Waker I stared at you for what you said about his actions the night before.))

Instead of moving Shadow merely willed the quarterstaff he was holding to stretch a tendril of wood in front of the knife. The knife smacked into the tendril which then reformed and threw it back point first aimed at K's right thigh exactly where the femoral arterie was located. Nice trick I remember learning it when I could barely walk. He said in a tone of condesension.

Shadow shrugged slightly and said. Why's it matter who shows aggression first? When two people or really any number of people fight it's the victor that gets to decide how it occured.

Shadow shook his head slightly and said Even if you manage to destroy this body I'll still be alive and my next one will be far superior. I'm actually waiting to see how long it takes this form to give out. Even as he spoke though Shadow made his move. Spikes of wood rose from the floor under K even as two tendrils of wood dropped from the cieling and swung above his body like whips ready to hit him if he jumped.
