Jack's hackles rose but he didn't move, keeping Tara in his peripery, seeing she wasn't moving helped him but every other impulse, instinct was telling him to do something else besides stand there.

Dorien stopped her and helped her back to the bed, You have no need to leave the bed. he said, waving his arm slightly as he chose the food and drink he had found in her mind to appear infront of her. You need to rest when you are done...

Kana's eyes glowed as she first place one of the fans in the middle of Tara's forehead and then pulled back, a long golden strand attached to the fan. A quick flick of the wrist and th econnection was severed. She then used her other fan to do the same to him..

He crossed his eyes to try and look at his forehead. The result looked ridiculously funny, "What'd you do?" He asked.
A bread bowl of white clam chowder appeared in her head, she had no idea she'd been craving it until it was sitting right in front of her. She blinked, blown away, then turned her surprised gaze up to Dorien, "Thank you!" An apple Snapple appeared as well, "Didn't konw you could do that."

Dorien rolled his eyes, annoyance coming face into his look once again, I am old. I am most certain that you don't know everything about me. Now eat before you passing out... he grumbled before moving to the doorway once again. With Tien here, he was sure he would find the woman that followed him...but the elf couldn't sense her presence nearby... How strange.. he thought.

Troden reappeared in the park, his gaze upon the lake as he tried to get his emotions in order. But they were as stubborn as he and wanted to be known. He watched as a leaved touched the lake's surface, the ripples traveling towards the land and the image of he and Jen standing together in the middle of the water came flashing back. Her smile...her laughter.
He closed his eyes, his fists tightening, "You're really gone....." he said after a moment, "Forever..."
Tara looked at him and held back the bout of laughter at the sight of the cross-eyes tiger.
Kanna was not so easily amused. Her eyes merely hardened as she said, "I have taken a part of the cord in your mind, the part that is most properly called the cord of Fate. It decides on how high the possibility this relationship of yours shall prosper." she then turned around, "If the cords tie together and I cannot lossen it, then the possibility is high. If it doesn't tie at all...." she trailed off and opened her fans. The gust of wind blew around her as she disappeared.

Jen turned to Shadow, "Now I remember what happened... you... you just can't get it in your head that things change and people move on can you?" Her voice raised a little, "Just because he is a Sulla or his brother is a Sulla doesn't mean anything. They are both good friends... and maybe more."
Shadow tilted his head and merely turned around and walked away without a word.

Troden lept into the nearest tree limb, his eyes still closed as he felt the building presence of the three Leaders now in the city. He sighed and leaned against the bark fo the tree, "The world is so close to being under vampiric rule again..and you won't be here to see that happen."
