She blinked, there was another young man there. She immediately pinned him as an elf and blinked after him, "Thank you...." She said, frowning. She then smiled, "What an interesting life mine has become....I'm glad Guy took me here. Otherwise, I am fine. Thank you." She offered Tien a warm smile.Aurora stopped and stared at them then glared, folding her arms and turning to stalk away, "Bloody hell..." She muttered darkly. He sat down next to her then lay back and looked up at the sky again, "I must admit, Signet is one active place for the supernatural community." He agreed, "It's nice for a bit of quiet."

"Good," Tien replied before standing up and stretching, "Because I have a feeling things are going to get far more interesting than you've known it."
"Don't forget peace..." Tara answered with a grin, "And surprisingly romance.." she continued, though she wisely didn't clarify what she meant about that.

Jack was silent a moment, "Why surprising?" He asked.
Magnolia nodded, "I understand." She replied, closing her eyes for a moment, "What are you doing here?" She asked curiously.

A few moments later, Lotan was walking Dorien out of the cave, his calm inner voice actually keeping the elf from goign after Aurora again, Dorien, she only replaced the woman's love for your own...be careful. Your love can grow to be as powerful as hers.. he warned before watching the Leader walk off.
Tell me Lotan, how long have you been keeping your own affections for that woman under control? Dorien asked as he walked away. The silent reply was all he needed to know.

Tien's eyebrow raised slight before he gave a rather sly answer, "I came in here to help you out of course. I was...compelled to do I suppose."

"But that's not the only reason is it?" She asked.Aurora was still pissed by the time Lotan got back, bored out of her mind with nowhere to go, nothing to do. She paced furiously. "From what I'm seeing....this whole...romance thing is...a change of pace for you. To tell you the truth, it's been awhile for me."

Lotan looked at her for a moment before sighing. He hated when she was upset, for it only meant problems in the end, but what else could he do? With Dorien around, there would be problems enough without having Aurora creating mroe on her own, "I'm only doing this for your own safety Aurora.." he murmured.
Dorien didn't stay long in the moutains. The presence of that aggravating woman was warnign him to get out of there fast before he actually went after again. He sighed before he began to run, hoping that a little exercise would help out. Lotan had been right about his love though. The temporary feeling of having Magnolia's love inside of him had everlasting effects on him. He now knew the extent of her love and that it was ever growing...and the pain he had caused to her.
Even being a master of pain, it was too much for him. He felt a strange feeling that was close to shame as he moved, his hair whipping through the wind as he moved faster, the scenes around him now a blur in his eyes. I am sorry Magnolia...but what I said would be true. Even now I feel I am undeserving of the love you have for me, and for that..I shall stay away. he thought before entered the city, jumping to the rooftops and moving back to his resting place. he only needed a few things from there and his own journey would begin..

"No it isn't," Tien answered before showing the scars on his arms, "These are the marks left behind by Dorien. They can never heal to their original form, but it doesn't matter. This is what happens when anyone gets to him the way I did." he said after a moment, "I was speaking of you."
Tara didn't whether to glare at him or laugh, "I have dated other people Jack. Tien wasn't always so...overbearing. Something happened to him that changed his whole perspective on life, but enough about him. I want know something about you..." she said, turn so that she was resting on her stomach, "Why did you come to Signet City?"

((yup, let's have someone underscore that shall we?)) She appeared at his side, keeping up with him, she was floating though, Don't be stupid. Actually never mind, I know you can't help it. She sighed, She's waiting for you. Believe it or not she had a little help or she would have dropped into an eternal well of despair. She paused, Ooh, that was pretty good, wasn't it? Eternal well....I'm brilliant! She laughed then sobered quickly, There's something I must tell you about myself, though."I just want to see the people! Maybe a bit of dancing! I'm sooooo bored, Lotan!" She whined, "Pretty please, I'll be a good girl, keep my hands to myself." It wasn't her hands that were the problem though she hoped he'd miss that....Not likely though. She looked at the scars her eyes widening, Dorien did that to him? She got a second shock, because he was talking about her? That couldnt' have been the whole reason and she voiced this opinion.He mentally slapped himself, she obviously had some experience in this department, Jack, duh! He sat up and turned so he could look at her better, "I'm an Event Coordinator, I was coordinating the funeral of an old werewolf, used to a general before he was honorobly discharged for services rendered. He opened a construction company and his son's running it now. His second in command shot him right between the eyes with a silver bullet. He's dead too, the pack ripped him apart. He was born here so they wanted to bury him here. It was a gorgeous ceremony if I do say so myself." He grinned.

Lotan had to give it to her. She was a pretty good actress, but he had been with her for so long that it was almost impossible for him to miss any details, "Your hands and mind?" he added.
Dorien would have sent a mental attack to the girl, but knew it was useless. And it was basically useless to talk to him as well. He landed in frotn of his resting place and began walked to the altar, Shut up.. You don't understand... he said before waited impatiently for her to finish.

((Not Aurora, his contemporary, remember, she's in pink! I havn't thought up a name for her yet...you'll see why in a second.)) The scene around them changed to a grassy knoll somewhere unknown. There were two grave markers one had her name inscribed on it, the one next to hers had the name of her beloved. His gravestone was older than hers, hers looked brand new, You're the last one standing, Dorien, you and Magnolia--and Tyran, of course--so what are you going to do about it? She crossed her arms and gave him a look.She growled and stamped her foot, "Cripes..." She muttered then sighed, "Alright, deal." She reluctantly agreed.

Dorien looked at the grave markers with a slightly stunned expression. Of course this did not even show the smallest hint of how he felt at that moment. The last.... he repeated, taking a step back. He didn't dare look at the woman as the image faded away, I understand now... He said after a moment. I must.. he trailed off as he faded away, leaving the items in the altar practicaly abandoned as he reappeared in the Nocturne.
Lotan smiled adn sighed in relief, "Very well then..." he said after a moment, "Shall we go?

((I'm glad you like. Okay this is my last post cause I gotta go to Spanish class, then I'll be on again for a little while)) She grinned up at him and took his arm, "Lead away, Lotan, darling!" She exclaimed. Magnolia stiffened for a moment before relaxing, "I suggest you leave in a hurry, Dorien is coming." She said, closing her eyes.

Tien smirked and said, "I said many thiongs, but they didn't affect him they way speaking of you did. He became another being, eyes red as blood and his laughter...I didn't even know he could laugh..it was much like one of the deranged. He had warned before abotu talking about you, but I didn't listen. He nearly killed me, but Merlin came just in time...so did Lina." he soon stiffened as well and nodded, "I shall see you later then Magnolia.." he said with a bow and left.
"So it was for business," Tara said with a smirk, "I'm sure it was..but you know what they say about te people who come to Signet City? They either come back or always stay. It never fails..."

Lotan shook his head before offering Aurora his arm as they walked out of the cave.
Dorien imediately went up the stairs and jus tin time to see Tien walking down the hall. His eyes narrowed slightly, but he did nothing more. He then walked towards Magnolia's room, the black jeans annoying him to the point that he returned to his old elvan clothing. He paused for a moment before walking into the doorway, his slender form tense as he leaned against it, It appears we must talk afterall.. he said, his voice unusually soft.
Tyran easily felt Dorien's prescence even in the kitchen and smiled, his hands placing the food abck on the counter. He was sure that Magnolia wouldn't feel hungry now, but even if she did, Dorien had the power to create food anyway...
